This is my fourth time seeing Elaine for microblading and each visit has been spectacular! I had been toying with the idea of getting my brows tattooed for a while after psoriasis wiped them out several years ago. I only have a few small hairs above each eye and I was extremely embarrassed by this before my first procedure. Although I eventually became quite good at drawing them in, I was a perfectionist about it which nearly made me late to work on multiple occasions... needless to say, my self-esteem was pretty low. Then I came across a woman who just had her brows done - the only reason I knew they were tattooed is because they were red and slathered with Aquaphor. She referred me to Elaine and after a consultation, I could tell Ms. Chen would meet my (admittedly high) expectations. She is all about perfection and will not let you leave her office until she feels she has done all she can to make you look your best. My own mother couldn't tell my brows were tattooed and she KNEW I was getting this done! read more

Elaine was very kind and patient to answer all my questions regarding an inquiry I had. I highly recommend checking her business out!

Elaine did my lash lift and eyebrow shaping for my wedding. I came to her once before and she did such a great job, I just had to have her do my eyebrows again and lift my lashes for my wedding. She again did a fabulous job, I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and my eyelashes and brows looked perfect! She gives such great attention to detail and makes sure you leave her office looking and feeling your best. read more

I didn't expect microblading to make this big of a difference , but Elaine changed the whole energy of my face.she studied my features carefully, talked to aesthetic direction she recommended, and then executed it with surgeon precision. The strokes are incredibly natural. I told her I wanted a natural look that suits my eyes and facial features, and I've been happy with the results every single time! Elaine is so great!! She did the eyelash lift for me last week, and my eyelashes have never looked this good! I haven't had to wear any mascara since I got them done. I didn't even know such a thing existed (lol) until I met Elaine. She is also working on my eyebrows which need some correction from the previous time I had them done. Elaine is super patient and is so understanding and flexible with her time. I've been late to multiple appointments and she always waits patiently for me and goes out of her way to make me feel comfortable. Thank you Elaine! You are the best! read more

I booked my first ever appointment at Elaine's Eyebrows & Lashes for Men's Eyebrow Design. I have always been skeptical with who does my eyebrows due to batched services in the past. Elaine was recommended to me by a friend, and she did not disappoint! The service was 1 hour in length and my eyebrows were shaped to my liking. Elaine was very responsive and caring during the entire process. Her website is easy to use and book. Elaine utilizes multiple forms of payment methods. You might think that the service is expensive however, it is well worth it. I will never go back to getting my eyebrows done at random salons. Thank you again Elaine, I will be coming back soon. read more

Elaine is amazing! I found this place by just searching for a lash lift in yelp and was impressed by all the positive reviews. Now I've had two lash lifts and two eyebrow appointments can't imagine not have Elaine as my lash and brow beauty guru. Elaine is a perfectionist and makes sure things look absolutely perfect. In addition to this she is a total sweetheart and makes sure you are comfortable and taken care of the whole time, which is really nice during your first lash lift because it's a time intensive process. The results speak for themselves. If you are on the fence you truly can't go wrong with Elaine and I can't recommend her highly enough. read more

I had a great experience from start to finish and would recommend Elaine to anyone who wants a little flair for their face. Booking was super easy from her website. From the moment I walked into her light-filled studio (which I really appreciated, even though my eyes would be closed for the majority of our time together) she was friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. My comfort was important to her and she asked me several times if I was doing ok during my eyelash lift and tint treatment. She was appreciably meticulous with the application process. I love my lashes and feel like I don't need mascara to help me look awake and refreshed. I'm excited I found her. read more

Elaine knocked it out of the park with my daughter's eyebrows. What I liked about her is that she will tailor what she does to each individual and the fact that she had a younger person in her chair she knew not to over do it and gave my daughter a gorgeous natural shaping of her eyebrows. If you want someone that will study your face and talk to you about what you want to achieve, please go to Elaine. She is obviously very experienced in her field and takes care for each client. Even the client that left her office when I was coming in said "she is fantastic you're going to be in great hands!" Great addition to the Burlingame area. Sanitary, open and comfortable. read more

I love Elaine! I have gone to her since 2018 when she did my first Microblading. The brows lasted four years with just two touch-ups in between. She reshaped them as I came in with thin out of style arched brows and I just love the way it shapes my face. I just went and got them done again by Elaine even though I now live an hour away from her. Being that your eyebrows are on your face, it's not a service that I want to experiment with a new person! Elaine is always kind and I enjoy our conversation while she works on my brows. She will take the time to make sure they are perfect and that you are happy. read more

Last week was my first time getting eyelash extensions and Chelsea did NOT disappoint! I told her I wanted full, natural-looking lashes and that's EXACTLY what I got. It's been a week and they look just as fresh as they did the day I got them. If you are considering microblading Elaine is THE BEST. I left my eyebrows in the 90s and had been considering microblading for a long time, but I was nervous and not sure if it was worth it$. I finally booked an appointment with Elaine and my only regret is that I didn't go years ago. First off parking is easy. Her office is Zen and beautiful. Elaine herself is incredibly sweet natured and made sure I was always comfortable. She took her time measuring my brows, explaining the procedure, and picking out the color. She managed to fix my uneven sparse brows into the most beautiful brows I've ever had. I will post pics after my final touch up is completed. read more
