i've always wanted lash extensions. from the time i found out THAT was the reason kim k.'s lashes and eyes always looked amazing, spot on and gorgeous. i've got to admit i was mostly concerned with the cost. i just didn't know if i could justify the outflow of cash to keep up my frackin eyelash extensions. a friend of mine frequents this spot and recommended it highly and i decided to give it a whirl. my very first lash extension set. in booking online i found that appointments are a bit difficult to come by the first time and i had to book almost a month out. understandable, though, seeing as so many people love this place. detri was fantastic. i should have asked her to sort of explain the steps she was taking as i ended up pretty curious when all i could feel was a brush here, a light touch there, etc. seemed like there were MANY tedious steps. i was laying in that chair, jerking awake from sleep too many times to count, for about 2.25 hours. and lemme say....WORTH IT. EVERY MINUTE. detri's a master. i've had plenty of "did you do something different with your hair? use a new make up?" questions but NO ONE has pin pointed the lashes. and when i supply that info i get compliments galore. sent a text pic to my mom and her response was "beautiful! i'll take THAT for my birthday." so here goes the saving. hahahahha i will return again and again i'm sure! if i could snap a picture of my lashes that didn't make the rest of my face look like an alien troll i'd post it, but i'm just not that good. ahahaha read more

I have been a client of Christina's since she was at OCW, and when the YL location closed I was sooooo disappointed that I could no longer be waxed by Christina. After the great experiences with her I had no idea where I was going to go and the thought of having to find a new waxer totally bummed me out. When I heard that she was moving to Lash Lab, I was so excited! Waxing can either be a horrible or a great experience, and having gone through many waxers I can honestly say that Christina is the best! Not only is she fast, thorough and gentle, but she also has a great personality and that makes the waxing go by so fast! I had my lashes done for the 1st time about 6 months ago at a place I won't mention. After my 2nd painful fill, I had the distinct feeling my real lashes were being ruined. They were heavy, almost like doll lashes. I took off what I could and let some grow out, I wanted to cry, my lashes looked so bald in spots and bare! After a month of wearing stick ons to hide my thin lashes, I found the Lash Lab and talked to Detri, the owner. She had me come in so she could examine my lashes and set me up with Yolanda, (she is no longer there) for a new set, I was so happy with them. I have been going to Elizabeth every since and they keep getting better looking, as my lashes are getting stronger! I started taking the vitamin supplement they have. Elizabeth is wonderful and very caring, she takes pride in making you feel good about how you look. The lashes are so light and natural, they feel like your own! She does "classic", feathery or a combo. Different lashes for different occasions. She also taught me how to keep them clean and seal them every couple days, I am really glad that I found the Lash Lab! read more

Coming into my first appointment I had really high expectations. My experience with this place was just okay not great for two main reasons. The first was that I originally wanted to get really long lashes but was informed by my lash tech, Britt, that I couldn't go for the look I wanted because my eyelashes weren't full enough (so everyone's lashes will have different results since results depend on your natural lashes) so I ended up with a mascara look which I was not happy about. Reason number two why I was disappointed was because after the lash extensions had fallen off, my natural eyelashes were really damaged and shorter and less fuller than before I had applied the extensions. I am not sure if this was a result of the technicians skills or if in general lash extensions damage you natural lashes. This was my first experience with lash extensions so I cant say it was it was Lash Labs fault since I have nothing to compare to. Overall, I think I am just going to stick to the strip of lashes you can purchase anywhere and apply yourself for a lot cheaper. read more

I am addicted to my extensions and LOVE Lash Lab. Can't say enough about how professional, accomodating and friendly all the techs are. I decided last August to treat myself to getting my lashes enhanced with extensions. After searching several places I made my appointment at Lash Lab and couldn't have made a better choice. I get soooo many compliments on my lashes but the one I hear over and over is that they look so natural. I even had another eyelash extension tech from the nail shop where I go to ask me where I get them done...trust me I've seen a couple of her clients after getting extensions, and there is absolutely NO comparison to the job the girls at Lash Lab do, all the girls do a wonderful job!! They are very busy but I never have a problem making an appointment for my fill as they have an easy to use online appointment scheduler. I received beautiful, natural looking, long and full lashes from Detri. People can't even tell that I have extentions, they look just like I was born with exotically long, full lashes. I've been to 2 other lash places, and Detri is the best. I've had my lashes for 3 weeks now and the glue they use is simply the most long lasting I've ever tried. My lashes still look full after 3 weeks! I've pretty sure I can go for 4 weeks and still look great. Came in for a fill with Elizabeth. She's such a sweet lady. She was recommended by my friend Denise. She saw that my extensions were done pretty badly. And she recommended for me to do a full set instead. She took a picture of my previous extensions and it was all twisted and my lashes were full of glue. And that's why it was itchy. So I decided to do a full set with her. She really took her time and when I saw the results, it looked great! The lashes felt natural and there was no stinging nor itching. This is my 2nd time getting eyelash extensions but my 1st time here @Lash Lab. I went in with high expectations I walked in @12:15 for my appointment and walked out at 3pm ( almost 3 hrs ). I got the classic set, I got my lashes done by an apprentice, and my lashes were not to what I expected and for the time that I spent in there. I guess that's what I get for getting my lashes done by an apprentice. What bothers me the most is that only once did I see someone approaching the apprentice and it was at the end and NO ONE ask how she was doing or NO ONE else stepped in to help her I was there for almost 3 hours. When they were ringing me up another staff girl asked if She can see what they did and asked if I liked my results I was silent I didn't want to be rude, so she took me back to try to get them fixed she had a client coming soon so she tried to fix it, but I was still not satisfied. I saw previous reviews and pictures of the classic set but I didn't get the same results. It's the next day and I have lost some lashes. I don't think I'll be going back. read more

I have been going to Lash Lab for a while now, I want to say close to a year, and I always go to Brittany. I had gotten a set from another place, and the itching and burning was terrible. I was just going to have them removed, but a co-worker told me to try here and see what they could do. It became apparent that the itching was because the first place I went had glued several of my eyelashes to each of the extensions, and used TONS of glue. Brittney got them all off, and put on a new set with one eyelash per extension and the difference was night and day. I have been going to her religiously every 2-3 weeks since and have had no problems. She has been very accommodating to the couple of times I needed to change my appointment, and has gone above and beyond to fit me in. I can't recommend her, or the lash lab enough. read more

Detri is amazing!! I only come here to get my eyebrows waxed, since I realized how unsanitary threading is (at another salon), and she does a great job. She's always aware of my skin issues and very careful to avoid problem areas. It's clear that she knows the health/sanitary side of waxing, as well as making my eyebrows beautiful and even. I never have to worry about it like I had to with threading. I've been going to Brittany at the lash lab for about a year now. I love my lashes! They are very natural looking and I get compliments on them ALL the time! I have heard horror stories from friends that have gotten their lashes from a "nail salon" OMG don't do it!!! I came here and got my lashes done and I was in pain the whole time. The lash glue made my eyes burn and water. When I opened my eye it was super red and watery. She used this mini blow dyer to dry eyes so she can continue but it kept watering. Later on, towards the end she found out there were two fake eyelashes stuck in my eye...... I was beyond irritated by then, but I kept my composure. After she finished I quickly left. It took a week for my eyes to fully heal (stop being red). The finished product looked okay but the lashes were really hard so they hurt my eyes. After a week and a half I couldn't deal with the pain and trouble of them so I went back to have them taken off. The process of taking them off was terrible. Many of my eyelashes were ripped out in the process and she wasnt gentle. When I flinched because of the pain or twitched my eye the lady told me that I need to be still or my lashes will rip out.. well no s***. This is my first and last time I will ever get eyelash extensions. read more
