I just had my first clear and brilliant laser facial. I am a 40yr old female who works as a nurse wearing a mask 24/7. I was in need of healing my skins from mask break out, helping my dull skin that is starting to get fine lines. After the 1st treatment my skin is softer, my pores are tiny making my skin texture look flawless, the fine lines have already decreased and the discoloration from my break outs have faded. I have had laser hair removal before and loved the results. However, this time was not good at this new location. This treatment did not result in any hair removal. I have nothing but stubble as if I just shaved. I have had great treatments before from laseraway and city laser, so I know that this one was very different. Maybe their machine is broken or the staff didn't take their time. I called the location and they said that there is nothing that they can. I don't recommend this location right now. read more

I definitely would not recommend the Concord location. I normally get treated in Walnut Creek, but decided to try Concord, and I was not impressed even a little. The nurse who did my clear+brilliant was a rotating nurse, so she just fills in apparently. Not sure how much training was received but she disappointed from the get go. She refused to do the treatment I asked for and proceeded to tell me how my face would be "ruined" if I did it, even though I had already had it done in December. Then once she started doing the treatment prévia I believe it what she called it, the wand kept going in and out of working. Finally she replaced the tip and continued focus on the right side of my face, not actually redoing the left side that barely got touched. Maybe it was an off day for them who knows. I did contact corporate and they justified all her actions telling me that it was my skins fault that the wand didn't work. Anyway I'll be back in Walnut Creek to complete my c+b purchases, but overall I'm not a fan anymore. My business is going elsewhere. At the very least they should have comped my session but instead they blamed me for their issues. Also would like to note the texture of my skin is almost the same as it was before c+b so the sand paper feeling that is SUPPOSED to take place isn't there. Again they said it is my skins fault. I had a 530pm appointment. They took me back at 529 and I was done with laser removal for both tattoos by 545. The nurse was kind, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. I've had about 4 sessions with the nurses at laser away in Concord and so far I've had good experiences with the nurses I've had like Melissa, Nina, and Mariana are all very sweet and friendly and I've had good experiences with them. However, I didn't feel comfortable during my interaction with Anastasia when I spoke with her in person during my last appointment back in May and over the phone this afternoon since I called to reschedule my appointment that I have scheduled for Sunday as I got hit with COVID so of course I want to keep everyone in the office safe as well as the nurses even though I'm showing mild symptoms and after 5 days if I'm better I can go back to doing stuff but I still want to be safe than still be positive. When I interacted with her in person in May I felt her tone came off a little harsh and condescending with me so I left in tears that day then I called the office again and spoke with her directly about how I felt during our interaction at least she apologized and I accepted her apology and she respected the personal request I told her about so I figured I'll give her another chance next time I interact with her whether it's in person or over the phone. Now when I called this time to reschedule my appointment that I had scheduled for Sunday and when I told her I got hit with the virus her tone kind of sounded a little stand-off ish over the phone when I told her and when she made small talk with me again over the phone I recognized her voice from when I interacted with her in person so that's how I remember it was her so I was a little nervous talking to her as the voice sounded familiar and she was very slow when rescheduling the appointment for me. Anyways, people have stuff that come up like illnesses, emergencies, etc so the receptionists should be understanding whenever patients need to reschedule due to these things. If Jamie or whoever the owner/manager is could text me as to get details from me as to what happened and how I felt I would appreciate it this way I can share things from my perspective this way they understand where I'm coming from and they can hopefully let me know from Anastasia's perspective as well in order to avoid these things again. read more

My first impression was great customer service and cute location. I had my first consultation, which they have you pay prior to your appointment in order to "hold your spot." I was excited to find a local clinic so I did it. Now I usually get Botox on my t-zone area ( I squint a lot) as well as right above my eyebrows as they are lowering with age. When it came down to products, they were very pushy on trying Xeomin. I had never tried it before so I was skeptical, they kept saying it was almost the same as Botox and that there was a "good deal" going on at the moment. Beside the doubt that was in the back of my mind I said sure why not. Let me just say that was a mistake And I was very disappointed in my results. I not only left super lumpy, which has never happened before, but I was still bleeding from two spots! I gave it until the next day and there was only one small limo visible, but as for the results.. my forehead looked exactly the same no difference what so ever :(. And to top it off the nurse said "see you in 2 weeks." I normally go every 2-3 months and the Botox still hasn't worn off so you can imagine my thoughts when she said that. At the end of the day it's not the place that's bad or the customer service but their sales and what the clinic pushes them to sell. I was bummed because after this I was Considering their lip fuller as I already have been getting mine filled, but not after this experience. I will continue to make the commute to my usual girl who is AMAZING at what she does and never lets me walk out lumpy or bleeding. read more

I came in for my first appointment at LaserAway Concord last week for Juvederm. Cameron, one of their sales associates was really knowledgable and friendly. She made the booking and check in process seamless for me, since it was my first time, I was grateful that it was a breeze. It started with a quick Facetime call with a nurse, 2 minutes tops. Within a couple minutes after, I was taken to a room to put numbing cream on and wait for 30 minutes for it to fully take affect. Try not to get it in your mouth, haha. After 30 minutes passed, I was checked on by my nurse and they took me to the procedure room. My nurse, Brittany K, was really friendly and reassuring. We consulted about my goals for my lips. She listened to me while I was also open to her professional suggestions. She took some before photos of my lips and then started with the procedure. The numbing cream really helped with any initial pain. I just felt a slight poke for a couple seconds. She was very thorough and made sure to ask if I was satisfied with the results after every injection. After the procedure, we talked about aftercare. Be sure to ask questions if you have them, especially if it is your first time getting filler. Once my appointment was over, Cameron helped me get my touch up appointment set up. Later on I received a link for further aftercare instructions. Overall, I had a pleasant first experience with LaserAway and I am looking forward to coming back really soon. read more
