Major scheduling issues, waiting long periods past scheduled appointments, canceled appts, hard to get appointments. Regret buying a series.

I regret spending $2,600 at LaserAway Concord. It was one of the biggest wastes of money I have ever experienced. I purchased a package of three Potenza RF Microneedling treatments after being assured that it would significantly reduce my facial dark patches, tighten my skin, and improve my fine lines. At approximately $850 per treatment, I expected high-quality care and noticeable results. Instead, I completed all three sessions and saw no improvement whatsoever. Session #1: I was not given proper instructions on where to apply the numbing cream before the procedure. Because of this, the area under my eyes was never numbed, and then later, once the procedure started, I was told by the Nurse that the area could not be treated. I was disappointed that something as basic as providing clear instructions before an approximately $850 procedure was overlooked, resulting in one of my primary areas of concern not even being treated. Session #2: This treatment was performed by Nurse Emily (at Concord, LaserAway). Based on my experience, the treatment felt ineffective. I experienced virtually no sensation during the procedure and, unlike my third session, I did not experience any noticeable tightness or post-treatment effects afterward. It left me feeling that the treatment was not performed with the same level of intensity or thoroughness that I later experienced. Session #3: My final treatment was performed by a different nurse. The treatment felt much more thorough. This only reinforced my impression that the quality of treatment at this location varies dramatically depending on which Nurse performs the procedure that day. As a paying patient, I should not have to hope I get the "right" provider after spending thousands of dollars. What is most disappointing is that I invested $2,600 based on the expectations set during my consultation. I was told that the Potenza RF Microneedling treatments would significantly reduce my facial dark patches, tighten my skin, and improve my fine lines. After completing all three treatments and waiting weeks to months for the full results to develop, my dark patches remain, my fine lines look unchanged, and I have not experienced the skin tightening I was led to expect. I simply did not receive results that came close to justifying this level of expense. I DO NOT RECOMMEND LaserAway Concord. In my experience, the treatments were dramatically overpriced, the quality of care was inconsistent, and the results did not justify the cost. If I could go back, I would never spend my money here and would instead seek a second opinion from another cosmetic practice before committing to such an expensive treatment package. Very frustrated with LaserAway lately. I've had appointments booked months in advance only to have them canceled the day before, forcing me to wait several more weeks for the next opening. Then, when I do get an appointment, I've had to wait over 30 minutes past my scheduled time because they appear to be overbooking nurses. The treatments themselves have been good, but the scheduling and appointment management have been incredibly disappointing. The staff are all super nice and knowledgeable including the nurses. They really do their best accommodating the services they provide to meet your needs. Today, Yassy was able to help me find out how to get copies of my medical records quickly. She has always been there to address any concerns or questions I have about any of the services they provide. She has a nice customer service demeanor and I enjoy her pleasant and friendly manner that you receive from her. UPDATE: DO NOT COME HERE. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY WITH FALSE PROMISES. I received a call back from the business saying they will only refund me half of my treatment when I paid $4800. They took photos of my tattoo and you can see only 25% of ink was taken out. FOUR DIFFERENT DOCTORS TREATED ME. THEY DID NOT KNOW WHERE IN THE REMOVAL PROCESS WE WERE AT. THEY QUESTIONED ME EVERY TIME I CAME IN. AREN'T YOU THE DOCTOR? ISN'T THERE SECURITY FOOTAGE OF THIS? Staff here are making my tattoo removal process harder than it needs to be. I've asked multiple times for a complete tattoo removal because it's a matching tattoo I got with an ex boyfriend who raped me. After four sessions, it seems like they've only lifted two shades of ink out and I'm treated inconsistently. In some areas of the tattoo, the doctor will make multiple passes and on others, just one. I'm getting the run around every time I complain and it's feeling like such a waste of money, time, and mental health--just like the man who raped me! The irony. The lady said there is an opening march 2 at 4;45 pm , then after I paid for the facial, then she says you can come in at 3:45 pm if that's more convenient for you. I said yes 3:45 pm is better . I am disappointed to write this review, but I had high expectations for LaserAway. I scheduled an appointment for today, October 11, back on August 21. When I arrived, I was informed that my account was closed due to an outstanding balance I was unaware of. I purchased my package from a different location and had no issues booking at the Concord location. The balance wasn't a problem; my concern was being told that my appointment was canceled without any prior notification. I never received an email, call, or text about the balance. I would have happily settled it if I had known. Instead, after planning my appointment two months in advance, I found out it was canceled right as soon as I arrived for my appointment. Given the substantial cost of the package, this lack of communication raises concerns about how the company engages with its patients. I'd like to give a shoutout to Jamila and Yasi at the front desk. They were extremely patient and did their best to help resolve my issue (which took about an hour to do). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get my treatment today, which unfortunately for me, is my only day off (bummer). I've continued to get frustrated with LaserAway. I have yet to truly have a positive experience with any service I've paid for, despite the reassurance that things would be different. I strategically scheduled a service with LaserAway to have it done before going on vacation and I received a call same-day cancellation call. I was told then I would be rescheduled over a month out. I called the office directly and was helped by a kind staff member who unfortunately was not able to get me in before my vacation but a little after I come back. While I appreciate the help, it still does not make things right with me. Took us 2 min standing to wait for her phone call to finish. My 19 yr old daughter also finished her session last month and all her underarm hair grew back line normal. Firstly, your hair won't be gone after the laser hair package, you'll need to continually get it just like waxing once they do that hard-core treatment. As for this exact location, there are two techs that are really nice. Hit or miss other than that, but the laser is so painful and it gets more painful as you do it more. Its my second visit here for my laser for brazilian and underarm. I love it, i went to other place before for laser, so i can compare it on my experience. This place i feel that there laser is more powerful, people that do it , they take there time and make sure they getting all the spot. I will be back on my 3rd session next month. So far I have only been to 2 treatments ( so far) of laser hair removal but am so excited to be hair free with no more waxing or shaving!!!!! Woo hoo! Besides that, I want to say that this location is awesome because it's in the Veranda shopping which has a Whole Foods and a TJ maxx and lots of good food choices. The facility is very clean from the waiting room to the restroom to the treatment rooms. The staff I have had so far have been great and totally make you feel se comfortable in what could be awkward positions. Can we say Brazilian??? Butterfly?? Today I had Melissa, last time it was a different lady whose name I forgot. But she was also great! I was expecting it to hurt, but in all honesty waxing and plucking hurt more! I am disappointed by the poor communication. I was running 5 minutes late due to construction around the area. I called in advance to notify the front desk. I've been coming here for two years, and in the last six months, I've had major issues with scheduling. I was forgotten about in the room while I was numbing before my laser tattoo session. After being in there an hour I had to leave because I needed to pick up my daughter. I rescheduled the appointment (which took about 4 weeks because they were booked out so far), and the day before, they canceled the appointment because someone called out sick. I rebooked again about 4 weeks out, and when I showed up for the appointment at 11:00 (like the confirmation text said), they told me my appointment wasn't until 11:30 and that I would have to wait an extra 30 minutes to be seen. I didn't have an extra 30 minutes, so when I went to reschedule the appointment, I was given options three weeks into the future. It's so challenging to get an appointment, yet I get spammed with text messages from them all of the time trying to sell me services. Giving 3 stars because all the staff I have interacted with have been so sweet, understanding, and kind. However, when it comes to getting an appointment, this place is horrible. When booking an appointment, it is often overbooked on other appointments. So the day before your treatment you will get a confirmation txt with a new date and time of your appointment. If you call, and things are moved around so you can keep the same appointment you booked weeks ago, then you will wait for well over an hour in a room waiting for someone to come in and tell you what's going on, and or, if you will even have your treatment. Then because they are now backed up, they will rush through your appointment (not providing proper service through the end of your session). Unfortunately I bought a package and have to finish the treatments, but I can say that I will not be ordering bc anything else from here. Too many wasted hours and days with scheduling. read more
