Victoria reached out to my husband for another hydrafacial and he accepted. He came back after the hydrafacial looking much better. The lesson we learned from all of this is that the hydrafacial is superior to other facials and allows for better extractions. Victoria's hydrafacial skills are fantastic. If my husband needs another hydrafacial which he probably will at some point then he will book with Victoria again. With Victoria's advice, my husband will switch to a different brand of sunscreen, one that is mineral-based which will be easier on his pores. I would not recommend this place for Botox. I started going here for facials last year and they are great! Unfortunately, I got Botox and it caused me to have Ptosis (severe lazy eye). I am on week 3 of this and my Doctor said it will most likely last 1-2 months! I have cancelled so many events because I don't feel comfortable being around people looking like this. I also do most of my work on Zoom so this has affected my job (again, I don't feel comfortable being on camera). I contacted the place and even though they were nice about it, they would not refund my money. I know it is a risk anytime that you do injectables but to do this to a customer and then charge them $730 for it, doesn't sit right with me. They try to upsell you everything here and when everything was said and done I ended up with discoloration on my face and it has been well over 6 months. If it doesn't feel right, do not proceed. This place is amazing! After my first pregnancy I had horrible acne due to hormones and I was in desperate need to clear my skin! Raegan who is amazing treated my face and explained the whole process step by step! I learned so much about skin and my face with each treatment! I loved my results for lip filler at first.. I had no bruising and very minimal swelling but then i got a bump on my upper lip that won't go away and shows when I smile. At first the bump was sticking out a lot & when I touched it something clear & sticky came out . My husband was confused also about my procedure because I paid for a full syringe and he said he saw a lot of product that was not used inside the syringe too. My lips are starting to look exactly how they used to before I got the filler. Now I need more filler but I spent over $500 for Poor results and I don't wish to keep spending money if I can't achieve the results I want. Be very careful before you go to Trin Skincare for an IPL. I have had several IPLs with other devices with excellent results. This machine was touted as being the latest and greatest. After one treatment I had very little results and managed to experience a burned area on my upper cheek. I returned to see what options Trio was offering me. Sam, the technician, said that the doctor who owns Trio offered to redo a few spots for an additional $50. She also explained that it would be unlikely that I would get any better results because my skin has too much melanin. This is after I spent over $160 on an Obagyi product that was going to assist me in getting good results! Why would I go through the additional money and discomfort to get no results? This place is genuinely great. I came here twice for the VI Peel to treat hyperpigmentation marks and correct damage that was done by two previous esthetician's elsewhere. First of all, all the ladies are polite, inviting and really make you feel welcomed. As a cosmetologist myself I appreciate their advice and transparency. No gimmicks, no talk down - just good honest service. I personally don't have a preference on who to go to because they were all great. Transparent in recommendations and offer great deals here and there. As for the VIPeel, I hardly get any acne now - my skin prior to coming to Trio was inflamed had pustules and a bunch of pimples caused by harsh peels and products my skin just didn't like. It had taken me 3 years of fixing my skin (hormonal pimples and hyperpigmentation) to have it ruined by 2 different people only for them to tell me it was my fault due to my routine. I spent thousands between those 2 women trying to correct their doing and finally after research, I did 2 peels at trio and although it took a bit, my skin is nearly almost back to how it was a year ago. I've been here twice for a facial with Bridget. Let me start off by saying that Bridget is absolutely amazing. She's very friendly and knowledgeable. I use a HSA card to pay for my facials. Which is a Health Savings Account, meaning money is taken out of my paycheck every month and put onto this Visa card. You can use these cards at places that have a MD on site, which this place doThe first time I came I got a facial and my mother in law got some medical work done. A worker named Julie told her coworker to ring our two transactions separately and then to do something specifically (a bunch of different steps) so my card wouldn't work on my transaction (the facial). The coworker kinda rolled her eyes in disappointment and then rang me up with both of my services on the same transaction. Telling a coworker to do specific things that honestly confused her just so my form of payment would be denied is crazy. The second time I went (today) Julie was the one to ring me up and I knew instantly she was going to give me a problem. She swiped my cards multiple times and pretended she didn't know what was going on. I told her that she could ring me up she just didn't want to with my card. She then went on to say "well this is a medical card and if I use it then the esthetician won't get paid". So she basically admitted that she was purposely denying my form of payment. I've used this card several times at other facilities and there has never been a problem. Money left my account, I came weeks ago and used the same form of payment and the esthetician was paid.....so saying that was complete BS. The first time I came I spent $1100, this time I spent $200. So the owner of this spa can ask Julie why their coworkers are losing clients. I really liked Bridget and was hoping to be a regular client of hers and had planed to get monthly facials that range anywhere from $139-200+. I've spent $1300 this past month at this facility but after todays experience with Julie I will be taking my business somewhere else. Replying to the reply- It was never brought to my attention that it was a problem the cards were not in my name. My mother in law was in the car so if that was a real issue then I could have grabbed her. And like I said before the card was used my first visit for a regular facial so the card works, so pretending like you didn't know why it wasn't going through my second visit when you were intentionally making it decline is extremely unprofessional. read more

Trio may be good for facial and acne treatment but this organization is NOT good for any invasive treatments such as the Seiton Laser peals. My experience was a disaster! I fell for the sweet talk from the owner (Reesa) and believed they would make my skin look clear and supple. They have nice little parties with food and intice you to have their proceedures. I fell for it hook sinker and line! I scheduled a seiton laser (for my face) and was treated by the RN. He said that he would "bring out the brown spots" then "remove them and with the laser treatment. The final result would be a clear, smooth, amazing finish. UNFORTUNATELY, my result was anything but what they promised. I was left with a face full of brown spots (hyperpigmentation) that was not there prior to their proceedure! I went back, in tears, to show them what happened. When I confronted the owner (Reesa?) her true colors came out. She was rude, mean, trying to blame me!! I did everything she/they asked and very carefully followed their directions. I was very excited going into this and had high hopes. Sadley it turned out a disaster. I asked for my money to be returned, she refused! I had to find a good board certified dermatologist to help me. I saw a highly respected dermatologist in San Ramon which told me "the scars on my face were a direct result of a negligent laser peal proceedure" Without going into more detail I can only say....run dont walk away from Trio skin care. If you are interested in getting a laser treatment go to a board certified DERMATOLOGIST, not the plastic surgeon they have on site (4 hours a week). This is the first negative comment I have ever made on yelp but feel it is important you should know what happened to me. read more

Do not go to this place for laser treatments, it is absolutely waist of money. I found this place on yelp. I called them, and they gave me a good discount, and I was fooled by that discount and decided to do my treatments at their clinic. Here are the reasons I think you should consider before going to this place. When I went their I told them that I have a pretty tick dark hairs, and they said that is really good because our machine works really good on thick hairs ( which is true, ticker hair, better result), they also mentioned that you will get around 80 to 90 percent hair reduction after 6 treatment. I bought 6 treatments for my face, underarm, and bikini. 1) for my bikini and underarm I barely got 40 percent hair reduction after 5 treatments 2) my face not only didn't get better, BUT it started growing more thicker and dark hairs, seriously it looked really bad 3) the nurse told me you may have ovarian cyst and that is why you don't see any hair reduction! She is neither a physician, nor an expert, and she has no right to mention something like that to her clients ( I was seen by a gynecologist before, and their assumption was completely wrong) 4) every time she missed different spots. I told her that these spots are missed, and she was like yeah I will try to cover it this time, BUT I only have 6 treatments, if you keep missing spots EVERY TIME how am I suppose to get a good treatments? if you are missing spots every time you have to give free treatments for spots you are missing. 5) AND, when I kept telling her that I am not happy with this treatments, she says, oh honey we are here to help you we are here to find the best laser power for you, I told her I only have 6 treatments, I can't waist my treatments for you to figure out what laser is better. 6) they postponed one of my treatment for 3 weeks, and I had to call them everyday to get a treatment, and they didn't have any, so I told them they have to give me an extra treatment because I have missed my hair growth cycle, and they said we have to talk to the doctor, and they called me back and they said okay. BUT the funny thing is that the treatment result was bad enough that I stopped going to their clinic after my 5th treatments. read more

I was very skeptical when I bought the Groupon deal for laser hair removal... Trio's reviews were all great but all seemed to be centered on their knack for clearing skin... Also, they quoted me an AMAZING deal for the additional work I wanted done... Sounded too good to be true but I went for it...here's how it's been & all the info I would have wanted before going: Cost/financing: I live in Daly City...so to trek out to Concord when I have no other business there would only be worth it if the deal was stellar - it was. The Groupon deal they had was for SIX treatments (versus 3 with other Groupon deals) and the additional work I wanted done was given special pricing too. I searched around SF and if I wanted the same 3 areas done in the city I would have paid more than double (over $1100 more). Trio was also willing to allow me to split the cost into two payments because I was wary about shelling out so much money before even starting treatment... Also, if you're turned off because the Groupon deal is no longer available...check with them! They do promotional pricing every so often and are super friendly!... Customer service: they get busy... but that's to be expected with any good place and they seem to schedule appointments accordingly - I never waited for longer than a couple of minutes for my appointments to begin. I was impressed that before I signed up for anything they suggested a consultation and the owner sat down with me for almost a hour just chatting and answering all my questions (I had quite a few because I was so skeptical)... Melissa (one of the nurses) who does the laser treatment is the sweetest! It's easy to pass the time and chat with her. She's also intuitive and notices if you quiver a little more in some areas than others. She knows what areas maybe sensitive and will take her time and prepare you for it... very nice. I've also gone to Daryl (the other nurse doing laser treatments) and was impressed by his knowledge, professionalism, and consideration. He spent a good amount of talking me through everything he was doing and explained the technical side and what to expect. Both nurses who do the lasers are exceptional - everything I would have wanted or expected plus more! Pain: Ok... I went in thinking it was going to be bad and was pretty scared... Nope. It's simple. It's like a little snapping feeling...but it was so minor I actually didn't realize when she started. Some places (...the less fatty areas...) tingled a bit more... but it definitely didn't require numbing cream... They progressively up the wattage on the machine as you do more treatments - but also as you progress, you also have less hair that's being destroyed... so pain becomes manageable throughout... Laser: Sciton BBL... Different lasers work better for different types (I believe this one works for the light skin/dark hair combo)...It apparently has a cooling tip so there's no need for numbing creams... I was asked to use a prescription cream to temporarily lighten my skin (for best results...). I'm Asian and pretty pale...but the cream is supposed to help so that the laser can focus on the hair and not your skin (I haven't seen any crazy white spots...it's mild and is only a temporary lightening...also, they don't ask everyone to use it...only if they think it's helpful)... Results: YAYY!! After ONE treatment I already saw results... the hair was thinner/softer, more sparse and taking a lot longer to come back too!! I didn't think I'd get results so quickly ...and was scared because of all the stories I've heard of people going to other places for years of treatments (and spending a ton of money) without any significant results... but I love my results. I just finished the entire series of 6 and only wish I did it sooner!! A miscellaneous hair still appears every so often, but other than that, I can easily go weeks without touching anything up!! Misc: Ok...I honestly spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to wear to the appointment ...and *ahem*...just FYI - they provide disposable undergarments for you... =) read more

I have been to Trio for both facials and massage services. I'll just say I wish I could afford to go monthly!! My first visit was because I had bad skin towards my last two years of high school and throughout most of my college life. As a result I had lots of scarring and I felt as though I had tried every face care line out on the market to no avail. At the recommendation of a good friend who also had difficult skin and got wonderful results, I went in for a consultation. At my appointment, they had me bring every product I put on my face, even makeup. Even before I saw someone I had to fill out a detailed survey. During my consultation, the woman was very helpful and went through all my products and explained the how's and why's this product worked for me or didn't work. I really liked how she sorted through and pointed out what I could keep using and what I might want to get rid of instead of making me buy their entire product line. She did suggest a couple things based on my lifestyle that were within my budget. She also suggested a few facial treatments that would help me when I was ready to purchase them. I've had a Purity facial twice and liked it. Only thing is don't plan on doing anything immediately afterwards because something about the stuff they put on your face is a weird looking orange! It washes off but I think you have to leave it on for a little while. I'm eager to try their other facials. I've also had their pregnancy massage along with the paraffin foot treatment during my 2nd trimester. Brian was the massage therapist. He was superb! This was a side laying positioned massage. Before this I had moderate pregnancy pains. All of my ailments were gone and I was sad the next morning that I couldn't go back.
