I wish I could say I've had a good experience with LaserAway, but the truth is it's been one frustration after another. The only reason I'm still coming here is because I prepaid for years of treatment, otherwise, I'd be long gone. I still have about 4-5 sessions left, and once those are done, I will never return. Been going here for 3 years now, maybe 4 all paid upfront. To be fair, I did have one regional manager reach out in the past to try to make things right, and for a short while, I thought maybe things would improve. But today just reminded me why I've been so unhappy with this place. This past week, I received two phone calls and a text message reminding me of my appointment and stressing the importance of being on time. I showed up 10 minutes early, and the office was empty, no other patients around. Despite that, I was still made to wait past my scheduled appointment time. Meanwhile, I could hear both receptionists in the back, laughing and chatting, completely ignoring the fact that I was waiting. It feels like once they've locked in your money, the professionalism ends. The emphasis is on selling, not on service or patient experience. The staff doesn't carry themselves with professionalism, and I no longer feel valued as a client. If you're considering signing up, I'd strongly advise against it. Save your money and your patience, there are plenty of other options out there that will actually care about your time and your experience.

And they send me home all marked up. They could even remove the lines they mark on me. This place a trap!!!

I visited this location 3 times now during Covid, they follow safety protocols and made me feel confident that the place is well sanitized and safe. The staff is very professional, friendly, and courteous. I scheduled for Clear + Brilliant for the 1st visit, Fire + Ice for the 2nd, and Clear + Brilliant again for the 3rd. They provide you with pre-appointment instructions, give you a call and/or text for an appointment reminder. While being prepped for the procedure, they explain what is being done and give you time to ask questions or concerns. They take time to explain and are very knowledgeable with the process. It was an awesome experience and exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with the results so far and can't wait for my next treatment. The post-care instructions provided was very helpful and it answers the basic questions and concerns you may have after. I purchased 6 Clear + Brilliant treatments and I'm already noticing positive results after the 2nd one. My pores are getting smaller, my wrinkles/fine lines are getting smoother, the pigmentation is getting better. Chief Medical OfficerBoard-certified dermatologist, Dr. Will Kirby, received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed his first year of postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center. His dermatology residency training took place in association with Western University/Pacific Hospital where he was honored by being selected to serve as Chief Resident in the Department of Dermatology.A licensed Osteopathic Physician and Surgeon in the state of California since 2002, Dr. Kirby is recognized as a Fellow by the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. I wish I could share a more positive experience, but my time at this LaserAway location has been quite frustrating. I purchased a package of 10 treatments for tattoo removal on my back and ankle based on the initial consultation, where I was assured that 70-80% of my tattoo would be removed. After five treatments, I've noticed only minimal changes to my ankle tattoo, and my back tattoo shows little to no improvement. The pain during the treatments is excruciating, even with the numbing cream they apply. When I came in for my sixth session, I got there 30 mins before my appointment time and requested an additional layer of numbing cream to help with the discomfort. The location manager, Chantelle, refused my request, stating it was against company policy. When I asked to see this policy in writing, she claimed she couldn't show it to me and accused me of being argumentative. After she suggested calling corporate to resolve my issue, I waited 15 minutes for her to return, only to learn that corporate didn't answer, and she created a ticket for them to call me back within 24 hours. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them. Frustrated, I contacted another LaserAway location to inquire about their numbing cream policy. To my surprise, they informed me that they can apply second layer of numbing cream as needed for customer comfort. This contradicts what I was told by Chantelle and raises serious concerns about the management and customer service at this Cerritos location. I urge anyone considering a package at LaserAway Cerritos to be cautious. My experience has left me feeling misled and dissatisfied. I hope to find a better experience with my remaining treatments at another location. read more

I had such a wonderful experience with Alexa at LaserAway! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and cared for. She explained every step of my treatments in detail and answered all my questions with so much patience and professionalism. Coolsculpting is not a solution to eliminate stubborn fat. I developed PAH a couple months after, which is a "rare" condition where it creates abnormal fat cells that multiply and grow leaving you with bulges of fat you probably never even had before the treatment. Laseraway confirmed the PAH and Allergan, the manufacturer of the coolsculpting machines offered an $11,000 settlement since you can no longer diet or exercise it off anymore due to the scar tissue. Only way to treat the PAH is through Vaser liposuction and in some cases it grows back. PAH is not rare and surgeons see these cases all the time because it's underreported. There are Facebook groups for those that need support in discovering and adjusting to the development of PAH. I invested $4,500 in CoolSculpting, which I am still paying for and still paid out of pocket for the surgery after accepting the settlement. Coolsculpting has left me in a mental, physical, emotional and financial burden. Please do not to this to your body and overall health. It isn't worth it for a "quick fix". read more

Do not go to laseraway they are scammers. I have bought package for full body and face laser hair removal and they scammed me. I have more hair on my body now then before. Staff is rude !!! Always changing appointments with out notice. I have gotten 9 treatments already and I swear I have more hair and different hair growth now. After I got 10 seasons done on my face they did a consultation and they said "to purchase more treatments and they will give me discount " but again I have paid you guys 10k for my treatments why do I need to buy more seasons when my hair should be gone 70-80% as they mention on the papers works. I have been suffering from facial hair since I was 11 years old. This causes low self esteem as well as me never being able to wear a ponytail due to me not wanting people to look at the hair on my face. So far all the nurses I've had for laser hair removal have all been great. They are helpful, nice, knowledgeable, and professional like nurse Linh was today. The front desk staff are also friendly, helpful and approachable as far as the treatments LaserAway provides. I've had a good experience with Priscilla and Jennifer at the front desk. I thought I had a high pain tolerance but my experience with laser hair removal here has been painful and not what I expected. I've had 4 laser treatments so far and out of everything I've tried this is what has worked for me! Denise has helped me so much with my confidence and answered all the questions I had before starting out with laser hair removal. I have PCOS so the hyperpigmentation and ingrowns I would get were constant. Vitamin C, niacinamide, glycolic acid...I've tried everything and nothing worked for me.
