My number one reason for booking an appointment here was how easy their online booking system is. You can just book right on their site, which I really appreciated! And I love that their Downey location is open until 7 PM -- it's always so hard to find places that offer appointments after work hours. This was my first time going, and I had a really good experience. The girls were very helpful and super sweet. I went in for lip filler dissolver, and it honestly wasn't as bad as some of the videos I've seen. I liked that they numbed me a bit first, so it didn't hurt, and the swelling wasn't crazy at all. I would definitely recommend them. Their winter specials were also priced really well -- I just didn't buy anything because I'm not sure I'll need a refill. But overall, great first visit! read more

I had an appointment set for 2:30 today. I show up at 2:15ish and check in. The receptionist tells me I'm looking at a 30 minute wait regardless of my appointment. My visit is already off to a bad start. Why set an appointment times if you're also taking walk ins and not honoring appointment times. But if we don't cancel or reschedule there is a $100 fee. I was finally called in about 3pm. Had my consult with one of the girls (not my injector) Everything was going great but then the upselling started. I went in for the new patient special for forehead tox which was advertised at $69. Then she mentioned how they "advise" to get the 11's done because it would look un-natural if I didn't treat it. And then the membership pitching. That took a whole 20 minutes. Finally my injector Madisyn came in, she marked my forehead and completed the injections. Literally took 5 minutes!! I will give it to her, she was extremely gently and I barely felt a thing. She was warm and welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. But then again here comes the sales pitch about skincare they sell in office. She was trying to get me to buy a $69 retinol with them. And literally would not stop talking about it. I give them 4 stars because of the amount of upselling they do. I understand you want to give your clients all the options and information about your products but it shouldn't feel so pushy and like the client has no other choice than to say yes. Please do better with keeping up with appointment times and stop with the major upselling. Other than that my visit was pleasant. read more

KJ gave me a complimentary facial on Friday, 3/13, and it was truly an amazing experience. I've had facials before, but never one like the one KJ gave me. Her hands are incredible, and she explained every step of the process while she was working, which made the whole experience even better. My appointment was scheduled for 11:00, and she was ready for me exactly at 11:00, which I really appreciated. She was very professional and well organized. I've now had two bad experiences with this location. I typically go to the NakedMD in Newport, but they've moved my preferred injector to multiple locations so I've made the 45 minute drive to see her. On my first visit here in which I booked an appointment with a friend, they had us waiting over 30 minutes in the waiting room and told us it's because we booked for two and they needed to wait for a room with two beds. We get put into a room with one bed (so why were we waiting the whole time?) and they have us wait another 10 minutes before actually being seen. As I'm writing this review, I had an appointment set up for tomorrow morning. They leave me a voicemail at 7:15pm THE NIGHT BEFORE saying the injector is unavailable and that I would be set up with somebody else or I can call back to reschedule. And yet when I call back within the minute they don't pick up. This is extremely disappointing as I took off work and set aside an hour and a half of my time to drive to and from another county for this appointment. I've been going to NakedMD for years despite several instances like this and getting my time wasted but I'll no longer be returning. read more

3/5 stars I had a mixed experience during my recent visit. The consultation portion was honestly disappointing. The consultant who numbed my lips lacked warmth and personality--her demeanor felt robotic, and she was overly focused on upselling me rather than listening to what I wanted. She pushed hard for a $600 filler after she had used a bit of a scare tactic to upsell me a full vial of Versa, saying I'd be upset if I only did half a vial because "almost all clients call back unhappy." I ended up agreeing to a full vial of Versa, but after seeing the results, I'm not convinced her advice was entirely accurate. She applied the numbing cream and walked out without much explanation, which didn't feel reassuring for a first-time client. Thankfully, things took a turn for the better once Katrina, the nurse injector, came in. She was fantastic--warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping me reach my goals. She walked me through the process, listened carefully to what I wanted (just a fuller look due to age-related volume loss), and respected my desire to maintain the shape of my Cupid's bow. The injections themselves were quick and relatively painless thanks to the numbing. While my lips are still swollen, I'm excited to see the final result. I did notice one spot that looks slightly less full, so I'll keep an eye on that during the healing process. Checkout was another frustrating moment. The same consultant handled it and, surprisingly, didn't even know Katrina's name--she had to ask her colleagues, which felt unprofessional and strange considering Katrina had just completed my procedure. On top of that, the consultant seemed visibly annoyed that I wanted to use Cherry as a payment method. When I had trouble figuring it out, she became more visibly annoyed, and I ended up just paying with my card to avoid the tension. One bright spot in the visit was the woman with long blonde hair who checked me in--she was kind, welcoming, and made a great first impression. Overall, Katrina made the experience worthwhile, but the consultant's poor attitude and lack of professionalism really brought the whole visit down. I will revise my review in 2 weeks once the lips have had time to heal up. I hope the clinic takes this kind of feedback seriously. Update 7/12/25: Someone reached out from the location and left a detailed voicemail yesterday 7/11 after having seen my review. They wanted to set up a follow up to have a nurse look at my lips and do a lip massage. Katrina did tell me that if after 2 weeks I still felt bumps I could massage my lips (which she showed me how to) or I could go back and have her do it. I think I'll book that for another week out but I'll call today. Lips are healing nicely and I attached a photo from today which would be 5 days post lip filler. read more

Automatically, the young lady who does the consulting tried to upsell, it was not stop push vibes of upselling recommending all these things she felt I "needed". She even recommended me coming back until I can "afford" other services. I chose not to get anything done at this location. A real business would recommend services but not to the point they'd rather lose a customer and a paying customer. Money is never the issue for me, I have an awesome career, thank God, but I did not come for chin fillers or other services she recommended. She also gave program like vibes, as if she read and studied from a script on what to say and how to upsell. I'll never return to this location. I had a very disappointing experience at the NakedMD location. My cousin and I were both returning clients and I scheduled a 5:30 PM appointment for Botox on a Saturday. We arrived on time and were immediately told the wait would be about 30 minutes past our appointment time. The check-in process was also frustrating. The iPad used for check-in was struggling to work and mine died halfway through the process. My cousin then had to complete all the new client paperwork again despite being a returning client. She apparently had 2 profiles in the system and still had to complete all paperwork despite them being merged. This location closes at 6 PM on Saturdays. When we checked back with the front desk at 6 PM, we were told there were still three clients ahead of us and the delays were because people were adding services to their appointments. When we asked how much longer it would be, the staff could not give us any timeframe at all. I asked if my card on file would be charged if we decided to leave since they were unable to honor our appointment time. Only then did they check in the back to see if they could get us into a room. They came back and said they couldn't, but mentioned that once we were seen the Botox would only take about 10 minutes. They also explained they were backed up because lip appointments were popular that day and those take longer. Overall, the lack of time management and communication was extremely frustrating. If the procedure truly takes about 10 minutes, our scheduled appointment should have been honored or at the very least managed better. Instead, we waited past closing time with no clear answers. Unfortunately, they lost two returning clients that day. We ended up going to DOS Skin instead and received amazing Botox and service right away. I hope NakedMD improves their scheduling and communication in the future. read more
