After getting tired of going to the Nissan dealership to have my car fixed for ridiculous prices, I…read moredid some research and found Autostream in Randallstiwn. I had no idea what to expect but I just wanted good service for a decent price. My expectations were far exceeded. It is an amazing place to get your car fixed for a fantastic price. The employees at the front desk are phenominal and the mechanics are super fast and talented. I feel like I am part of a family there. Regardless of how long it has been since I have called, they always remember me and welcome my business. It is a smaller location on liberty road and it is a bit if a fast turn into the parking lot but the business itself is not hard to find at all. It is super easy to schedule an appointment online, by phone, or in person. There is a shuttle service if you need to go while your car is being worked on. I prefer to hang around and chat with the staff. Either way, I highly recommend this business and will continue to go myself!

I called and got an appointment for an estimate. When I entered the office, the woman knew who I…read morewas and that I had an appointment. She asked me to provide some basic info. Within 2-3 minute, someone came to take a look. He took a few photos, asked a few questions and explained that he would have a written estimate in 5-10 minutes. 10 minutes later, he returned with a written estimate and explained my options. While I feel that some of the items in the estimate were unnecessary, I asked them to do a job and that's how they wanted to document/charge. If a part comes to you already painted (per the person doing the estimate), there is NO reason to charge for paint and paint supplies. Also, the amount of time for the job was excessive (to me). However, again, I came to them and asked for an estimate. There was nothing exceptionally good or bad about this experience.

When I asked if someone could take a look at my truck, I was told, "No, I'm not going to lay on wet pavement." I understood that the ground was wet, but the way it was said came across as rude and dismissive. When I politely asked him to repeat the estimate, he responded, "I just told you an around-about estimate," in a condescending tone. I explained that I was simply trying to do business and didn't appreciate the way I was being spoken to. His response was to tell me that I could leave. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I can't say why I was treated that way, but the interaction left me questioning whether bias may have played a role. Regardless of the reason, no customer should be treated with that level of disrespect. I took my business elsewhere and would not recommend this shop based on my experience.
