I called and got an appointment for an estimate. When I entered the office, the woman knew who I was and that I had an appointment. She asked me to provide some basic info. Within 2-3 minute, someone came to take a look. He took a few photos, asked a few questions and explained that he would have a written estimate in 5-10 minutes. 10 minutes later, he returned with a written estimate and explained my options. While I feel that some of the items in the estimate were unnecessary, I asked them to do a job and that's how they wanted to document/charge. If a part comes to you already painted (per the person doing the estimate), there is NO reason to charge for paint and paint supplies. Also, the amount of time for the job was excessive (to me). However, again, I came to them and asked for an estimate. There was nothing exceptionally good or bad about this experience. read more

I was very disappointed in the amount of time it took to reattach my bumper. I waited two weeks for a job I was told would only take 4 days max... My claim went though my insurance company, and that was the smooth and easy part. If I didn't call them, I wouldn't have gotten any status updates on how long it would be for my car to be ready! Also, when I did call to inquire, I was placed on hold for what seemed like an eternity. The wrong bumper was put on my vehicle, which is what led to the delay. Not sure how this happened since this place is known for auto repairs day in and out. The work was great when it was finally done, however, I am highly disappointed in the length of time it took for my repairs, as well as the wait times for someone to tell me what was going on with my car. I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you have another vehicle you can drive while your damaged vehicle gets repaired at their leisure. read more

Sorry to say. These folks can't keep a timeline. They have had my truck for over a month. They still cant give us a completion date. Either the truck is being pulled out of line for someone else or we are being told a bald faced fib. Everything we have done has been in good faith. Customer relations isn't their strong suit. I own a 2003 Lexus LS430. Twenty years ago when the car was six days old, I collided with a big Buck that crashed into the front of my car. I never thought that my car would ever be the same as when I purchased it. Chesapeake Collision did a fantastic job and the car looked brand new. Just recently (after 21 years), I collided with a deer again and in the same place that I encountered my very first deer! I couldn't believe it! I went back to Chesapeake Collision and spoke to Nicholas Stennett to see if they could "resurrect" my LS 430 again. Nicholas was so kind and because he didn't think they could repair the current damage to my 22 year old LS 430, he helped me to find some restoration places for me to contact that might be able to help me save my car that I loved so much. I had been to three other body shops and none of them extended such kindness to me and I'm 79 so kindness is very important to me. Nicholas even offered to help me if I had trouble finding and locating any of the restoration facilities. He said: 'call me if you need help". In this day and age, you don't find many 24 year olds who would go out of their way to help folks from my generation. I'm so glad that I met Nicholas and I would recommend Chesapeake Collision to anyone. read more

Great service through my insurance company, GEICO. I was involved in a minor car accident at no fault of my own the driver admitted the property damage.......coincidently we have the same insurance company GEICO. Jamie Blackwell (body shop) was amazing, professional, personable, great communicator, and explained the process thoroughly. I constantly received updates via text messages. Vivian (receptionist), has exemplary customer service skills on the phone and in person. 100% satisfied customer. Enterprise was present at the time of my appointment, did a "walk-around", explained the functionality of the car, paperwork completed in 15-20 minutes.......friendly, fast, and easy! read more

Worst communication and handling of a case that I have ever experienced. Original estimate (which I know is always a BEST CASE SCENARIO) was 8-10 days. Shop kept pushing back the due date, providing 6 different delivery dates and an excuse each time. Ended up taking over 2 months. WILL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER CAR TO THIS SHOP! read more

My experience was great. No stress although unexpected car repairs can be stressful. I must say, Geico has a sweet and convenient set up at the shop. They really know how to treat their customers. Geico had Enterprise there waiting with a rental for me. I was greeted immediately when I arrived. Advised of the work that would be done, signed off on that. Then escorted to the rental area to sign that paperwork, then escorted to the rental amd on my merry little way. All under probably 10-15 minutes. You couldn't ask for better customer service. If ever you are involved in an accident and need repairs, I highly recommend this shop. read more

I wouldn't recommend this car repair center as I was very disappointed with the customer service. I brought my car in for a repair and specifically stated that I wanted no after market parts used on the car and am willing to pay the difference for any/all parts to ensure they are from the manufacturer. I gave them every single one of my contact numbers and asked that they give me a call if they couldn't price match to Mopar and I would pay the difference. I know most people don't care what parts are used as long as the car looks right, but I care. I really care. Despite that, they went ahead and used after market parts without notifying me. I asked that this be corrected and we were quoted for the part (not the diffence between the parts) and labor (which I don't believe we should have to pay as it was their error). Then when I complained they stated that is the manufacturer cost for the part and they were not charging labor which I don't believe because I googled the crap out of it and the manufacturer charges a fraction of the cost we were quoted. Afterwards upon inspecting the car we saw scratches on the car that weren't there before. Clearly something happened. We had marks going all along the right hand side of the car and a huge gouge on that side as well. The man who assisted us with this issue was kind and cleaned off the side of the car and was able to remove most of the mark. Gouge went unresolved but I was desperate to get out of there by then. I would never bring another vehicle here nor would I recommend them. read more

Horrible experience, integrity questionable. When I called to schedule my minor repair, I asked how long the minor repair would take and I was told if I dropped my car off on Monday, it would possibly be done Tuesday evening and for certain Wednesday if there was no hidden damage. I made it clear I needed my car back by Wednesday. I specifically asked if they had a lot of work and could not honor the promise as I would take my car elsewhere to which they responded they could honor the promise. Tuesday someone called and said my car would not be ready until Thursday. Well Thursday came and no one called so I called at 4ish. I was told they found NO additional damage BUT my car was not ready n would not be ready. When I asked why I received a song n dance about the volume of work they had........the very reason I posed the question originally. I spoke with the manager who then advised he would keep his workers late and "throw it together!" Yep, that's what he said. He promised my car would be ready later that evening n he would call me. Needless to say, it's 7:22pm and I've heard nothing. I would suggest they knew when I asked that they were busy so why weren't they honest enough to just say, we're busy and we can't accommodate you. That is what a business that deals in integrity would do and they would have been ok with passing up my business because your brand means more than money. I just hope they "throw it together" properly so I do not have to deal with them anymore. read more

Absolutely horrible experience, needed to get body work done on my new Mercedes and they completely f***ed it up. I got the car back in worse condition than it was sent. Parts weren't installed right way, used freaking hot glue to hold grill and new washer fluid resvoir was leaking, and it was supposed to be brand new....emptied 2 bottles into it before realizing it was draining faster than it was going in. Over spray on to my windshield and fender and fog lights have water in them and don't work when according to the bill, they were brand new. If you like your car and want it done right, don't go here and expecially luxury car manufacturers are not they're cup of tea! Going to Mercedes authorized shop to fix what they f***ed up!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!! They lie about time estimates and keep on delaying it and like another reviewer said they literally threw the car together. I had to wait an extra hour when I went to go pick it up because fender still wasn't alligned. Save yourself time and headache and don't go here! read more
