I was referred to McCormick Auto Body after hitting a deer that damaged the front bumper and grille…read moreon my brand-new vehicle. At the time, I trusted that the repairs would be completed properly and to industry standards. Unfortunately, during a recent repair, I discovered that some of the previous work had not been done correctly. Instead of replacing the damaged sensor mounts/brackets, they were simply glued back together. As a result, the current repair became more expensive and complicated than it should have been. For a brand-new vehicle, I expected the repairs to be completed the right way using the proper replacement parts, not temporary fixes. This experience has left me very disappointed in the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend McCormick Auto Body and would encourage others to thoroughly inspect any repairs completed there.

I called and got an appointment for an estimate. When I entered the office, the woman knew who I…read morewas and that I had an appointment. She asked me to provide some basic info. Within 2-3 minute, someone came to take a look. He took a few photos, asked a few questions and explained that he would have a written estimate in 5-10 minutes. 10 minutes later, he returned with a written estimate and explained my options. While I feel that some of the items in the estimate were unnecessary, I asked them to do a job and that's how they wanted to document/charge. If a part comes to you already painted (per the person doing the estimate), there is NO reason to charge for paint and paint supplies. Also, the amount of time for the job was excessive (to me). However, again, I came to them and asked for an estimate. There was nothing exceptionally good or bad about this experience.

I'm not even sure how I came across Rockdale Auto Body in the frenzy of everything, but I suppose they found me. First, I slid off of the road due to a ridiculous amount of slush on the road and inclement weather. My car rolled into some trees in a ditch! Fast forward- Basically my insurance gave me the run-around and some how (Thank God) I was contacted by a gentleman from Rockdale informing me that they were sending someone to tow my car away as soon as possible. There were a lot of roadblocks initially thanks to the state trooper making things difficult, but Rockdale and their associates continued to work with me throughout at no cost to me! They brought my car into their shop and had a rental waiting for me upon arrival. I was not pleased with the first rental, but after I simply stated that, boom, they supplied another rental for me next day. I went on about my regular weekly activities (i.e. going to work and so on) with the rental. I received my car about 2 weeks after the initial incident, mainly because they had to wait for the claims adjuster from my insurance. My car looks good as new and is running smoothly. Needless to say, I am pleased. I would recommend them ten times over and I don't make light of this review. The experience was very stressful in the beginning and the customer service and reassurance from Rockdale's owners really helped relieve my anxiety. Excellent service.

I got into an accident and needed my back bumper fixed. This happened back in October and I barely got my car recently. I was considering taking off a star because I received the car much later than promised, BUT considering I have a Hyundai and, for obvious reasons, parts for my car have been in high demand, which isn't Slade's fault in any way. Plus it was all around the holidays, so I'm appreciative to have gotten it back this soon compared to other stories I've read about online. Honestly was nervous going through this process alone but Mr. Larry was good at communicating everything for me. He was patient and helped answer each one of my questions each time I called in (which I'm embarrassed to admit was often)... which relieved each of my anxieties each time. Thanks Mr. Larry and the team at Slade for fixing up my car (:
