I was involved in a hit and run on 7/18/18. I passed by Caliber many times but never had to go through their doors. It was recommended by my insurance company to check them out. First impressions mean a lot to me . I was greeted by Marc(management) when I walked in. His smile was warm and my nerves immediately were at ease. I filled out the paperwork as he called Enterprise. They arrived immediately and I was in my rental within the an hour. Easy like Sunday morning..... Caliber kept me up to date about the process of repairs throughout the entire process. It took about a week as promised. Now this is where the bad taste in my mouth begins.. I was contacted by Karen that my vehicle was ready, I received this message on my voicemail at 330pm. I had to pick it up by 7pm that same evening or I would be charged extra for the rental. I leave work early because of this. While we are doing the walk through in regards to the repairs, I see an indentation in the bumper. Ahhhh the bumper is brand new...well it's supposed to be. I mentioned and she says she will tell Tyler (the adjuster who handled my repairs) when he gets in the next morning. So now I am pissed. I had to leave work, rush to get the vehicle and the repair is not completed?!! I spoke to Tyler and he expressed his apologies and offered that Caliber would pay for YET ANOTHER rental car for me. I would have to pay the deposit. He said it could be fixed the next week. I set up the appointment but decided not to take my vehicle back. I just didn't feel like the EXTRA hassle. These three stars are for Tyler's efforts, Marc's smile and Karen's demeanor. He also stated I could bring it back to them at a later date and he would be happy to make sure it was fixed. I may take him up on the offer one day...just not today. I like my repairs other than this mishap. Overall work was ok with an ounce of fine. read more

I bought my car to them in August of 2022. My car sustained damage during a hit and run (luckily my car was parked and no one was in it). My insurance provided the information as to what portions of my car needed to be repaired.. My car was NOT properly repaired after having the car for 3 months (till the end of october). The windows did not work, I couldn't lock or unlock my doors, and the passenger side wheel was NOT fixed. I reported this to my insurance and took my car BACK to caliber. They proceeded to repair my car, holding it for another month or so. When I received my car back, I took it to my regular shop for maintenance (as I did not have my car for 4-5 months). My regular mechanic let me know that fluid was leaking from a hose under my car. He could see the liquid on the brakes and rotors. He could also see the horrendous patch job Caliber did on the suspension. I will never return to caliber again or recommend them to anyone! I have spent extra money on work that Caliber shouldve performed the first time!! Anyone that tells me they are using Caliber, I direct them elsewhere read more

I had my vehicle repaired at caliber collision. A month later something else went wrong with my vehicle I took it back to caliber collision and they fixed it with no hesitation. Mr. Tom was very courteous and professional this is my second time taking my vehicle to this location. Upon my surprise, when I received my car back and it was washed and vacuumed. Mr. Tom even volunteered to look at my husband's tire on our second vehicle so that we would have a operational vehicle while our main vehicle was being repaired in the shop (we thought the tire had a slow leak) Mr. Tom was extremely pleasant! In Nov someone hit my parked car. I contacted my insurance company who recommended I contact Caliber Collision. Elizabeth at C C book my appointment based on my schedule. Service Supervisor Matthew Gunther set up a schedule for my car to be fixed. My car door had to be removed and my odd car color had to be matched. C C finished 3 days early. My car was good as new. Caliber Collision cannot paint higher end cars or any dark colored cars to be political correct period! After I gave Caliber 4 chances to fix their mistakes(my car was initially just in for a new front bumper replacement, both the front and rear bumpers were to be painted and the front and rear of the car to be blended in), and after they gave me my car back it was in worse condition then before I even took my car up to Caliber for my initial estimate. First, my car was at Caliber Collision in Randallstown for over a month and a half just so the above mentioned work could be completed. One week maybe two weeks max was initially quoted to me for that job to be completed and then my car would be ready for pick-up, well this didn't happen nor was I kept in the loop with the Randallstown Caliber Collision. Secondly, Caliber stored my dark colored jcar outside causing it to bake in the July-August summer heat in 2018 for over a month and a half and with the additional dried bird droppings and acid rain damage done to my hood, roof, and trunk along with other dents and scratches that happened while in Caliber's care made this small repair quickly turn into a huge nightmare, so at this time the only way to make this right Caliber had to paint my entire car. While some of you might say this was a good gesture and great customer service it actually made my car drop in value. I got my car back in September of 2018 and the work was so bad it was sent to Caliber in Silver Spring. After another month waiting to get my car back hopefully completed correctly, (it's dark in color) there were defects in the paint and swirl marks under the clear coat. I've had more headaches dealing with Caliber from going back and forth up there to check on my car just to make sure it's done correctly and it wasn't. Remember I gave them four chances to make their mistakes right. Caliber would not wet sand their own work or perform any paint corrections on a 2nd new paint job themselves, rather yet have me take it to other companies and detail professionals to get their mistakes fixed. WHATS WRONG WITH THAT LAST SENTENCE? While many detail shops turned me down (because they did not want to be responsible for Calibers bad paint job), the one shop that tried to paint correct my car said this was the best it's going to get. It didn't get any better, the orange peel was so bad that if my car was orange it could have been the company demo car for Sunkist soda. ALL of the detail professionals asked why wouldn't Caliber correct their own work and why put all this headache on their customer after two months of trying and failing?...and this tells you how Caliber Collision believes in the quality of their own work. I applauded Caliber trying 4x's to make this right with all their re-paints, and part replacements, so I sent a thank you email for the effort and within hours someone high up from corporate responded and this was over a weekend on a Saturday, but when I sent an email to discuss reimbursements for the bad paint job, and using the wrong soft clear coat on my Mercedes(from the factory most German car manufacturers use a hard clear coat for this reason), it fell on def ears with no response. I even re-sent the email the following week figuring people might have been on vacation because it was sent during the week of 4th of July and still no response. We are now in the month of August 2019, and you know I have not been contacted yet, and even the district and regional managers are ignoring my phone calls and emails and this is on a corporate level. Even though my entire car has been painted by Caliber and I have a lifetime warranty on the paint I refuse to let them breathe on any of my cars again, they will not touch my family and friends cars either, and I have educated hundreds of people about my experience that are car enthusiasts and just people in general that want good work done to stay far far away from Caliber Collision, every Caliber Collision, in every state. Take your car to the body shop your dealership prefers, I wish I did this the 1st time! read more

While the body work they performed on my car went well, upon driving home i realized that my back speakers were busted and my gas tank was on E. I am highly disappointed and would not recommend anyone get work done by Caliber Collision in Randallstown, MD. read more
