Had to come in to get an estimate done since I was the victim of a hit and run accident. My insurance listed Caliber as one of their preferred companies. It's only 8 minutes from my house so it is very convenient. I probably could walk home from here . I had a an appointment for 4 pm but I was in the area so I arrived a little bit before 3:30. The receptionist was friendly and got me checked in. Even though I was early they still didn't have me wait at all. The rep came out after a few minutes. He took photos and prepared an estimate. Since I was going through my insurer I did t care about the estimate as long as my insurance would cover the repairs. They said the repairs would take 10 days or so. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get my vehicle repaired there because my insurance company considered it a total loss. Overall, their quote was reasonable, and the process was easy. I would come back again in the future if I am unlucky enough to be involved in another collision. read more

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I brought my car to get repaired here through insurance and it has been almost 1 month and a half waiting for it to be repaired. They first told us the wait time was two weeks and they call back and say another two weeks almost every week. Something is very off with this shop because they went from saying everything is fixed all we're doing is a paint job and we'll be done in a couple of days to then saying damages are over 10000 and we took the car apart again. To me it doesn't make sense. I was told this was a 3,000 - 5,000 at the most. read more

Caliber Auto Body Shop was an excellent experience for getting my car back in shape. It needed 2 panels replaced. A 2015 BMW X3. I was ready to have to wait weeks but, no, it was no where that long. And while I'm here, I want to give a shout out Shemon (a great sense of humor), Yasar, who was the first man who explained what needed to be done and Ben, who brought it all together the whole experience before I exited. It has been over 5 weeks since I drop my car off. And I'm still waiting to pick it up. I would never recommend this shop to anyone. read more

So took car there for insurance estimate and went with them for work, which they said would take 1-2 days. Waited for parts to come in and when they gave us our day for the work to be performed we dropped the car off the night before. Called end of the day next day and they hadn't done anything and said it would be a week. Went and picked car up and when I asked if we could schedule time I could bring it back to actually have it worked on they told me I could take it wherever I wanted. So not going back there. So I checked with another Caliber and they said it routinely takes 4-5 days for work and that they try not to schedule when they would lose the weekend. They also advised that if I had an appointment they would have worked on the car to make sure they assessed all the damage. Probably just this location, so I'll be going to another Caliber that communicates better and hopefully appreciates my business. read more

I have been waiting for my repairs to be completed on my truck since March 9th. I was told on March 8th that my truck was ready and it just need trim, wash and clean and something with the wheel but it was complete and would be ready on Wednesday. After speaking with the service rep and the manager I was totally disrespected in every way. Day after day I continue to be told it is going to be ready the next day. It is now the 13th and my car still is not ready. The Tech and the Manager are quite condescending and rude to say the least. POOR SERVICE read more

Several years ago I got one of my cars repaired here. I trusted the place because I had taken a car there previously to get repaired. This time, about two years after the repair of the bumper, I noticed that there was a problem with the repair because the right side was hanging off. I finally got it in to show Caliber the repair issue. Of course, they denied that it was their fault. The guy who worked there then proceeded to take photos of the bumper so he could compare them to the photos of the bumper after it had been repaired. They were basically the same with the same scuff marks when it had been there originally. The "technician" tried to point out a non-existant scuff mark as a possible reason the bumper was hanging on one side. The problem is that there was no scuff mark, certainly not one that I could notice, and not one that would have caused the problem. Just another company that doesn't take responsibility for its work. It could be a faulty bracket, or something else, but of course the company doesn't really want to know. This is the last time I take my cars here. I will take it to another body shop and see what their mistake was. Unprofessional! read more

Fixed my car then as I was driving it home from Caliber. I realized they left a tear in my passenger leather seat. Called them back and they said they'd fix it. However, still to this day never got a contact back to fix it even after calling several times. Each time they said they'd need to close out the month or would give me a call back. Hope they fix your car right the first time because if not they don't want anything to do with it once it's back in your hands. Disappointed and would not recommend. The shop team fixed my SUV within days. They kept in contact with me each step of the way. They fixed the bumper on my SUV which was hit by a driver on 2/13/2019. By Friday 2/22/2019, my SUV was fixed and I'm completely satisfied. I highly recommend this location. I've had a horrible experience at the Caliber Collision on Brenbrook at Liberty Road and don't recommend them. read more

Car passenger door swung open in the street and highway minutes after picking it up from having repairs "completed". Scary! Brought it back to the shop for them to properly repair my vehicle, and then noticed that the locks wouldn't work. Brought it back AGAIN and Caliber wouldn't pay for my car rental even when my insurance said it was Caliber's responsibility to pay for rental. NEVER doing business with them. Not only did they endanger my life and cause a huge inconvenience, they didn't want to pay for the rental! It's the principle behind the fact that they cannot accept complete ownership for what they didn't do or how they mess up! Everything did go as planned, in spite of Covid, (see warning below). Pleasant and polite guys, kept us posted etc. BTW, Enterprise Rental is like a 5 minute walk from there. They did a great job AND they cleaned the car, inside and out. Very nice touch. I hope I don't need their services again but if I do, this is the place I'll come. read more

Caliber was the best auto shop I've ever dealt with in 20 years of driving! They ran the estimate for my insurance company, they called to check in and see when I wanted to bring the car in (as I had to wait a few week to save up the deductible I was responsible for), they offered help with a rental car, etc. When I was able to schedule, they called and confirmed all parts were in and they were ready. They finished a few days early! With damage down the entire left side of my car, it was SO nice to see her back to looking brand new! Oh, and MAJOR perk, they practically detailed the whole thing! They always answered the phone, always greeted promptly, and delivered MORE than I expected! read more

Very bad experience with these guys. My vehicle was rear ended and my insurance company dropped the car off at this location. My personal property that was in the car was damaged by rain water because someone left the window open in my car while working on it. It is unacceptable. In addition to this, there was a pool of water collecting in the trunk. Granted that the accident may have prevented a full waterproof seal on the lift gate. What I don't understand is how my belongings in the front got damaged (no where near the trunk). They offered no apology, no reimbursement and manager had no remorse. I recommend you stay away from these con artists. read more

UPDATE - 4/21/2016 After writing my initial review, I was contacted by the manager of Caliber. He listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to correct my issues. He replaced the inside paneling so it no longer pops out and corrected the paint job. I was definitely impressed by the level of customer service. I give Caliber in Reisterstown a two star review only because they did keep me informed during the repair process. Based on the repair work alone, I'd give them a one star review and here is why: 1. The paint job is sub par (I was informed of this by my regular car mechanic); 2. Two doors were replaced on my vehicle and now the inside paneling pops out; 3. I was missing parts of the door after pickup and had to return the following day for additional repair; 4. When I picked up my vehicle, I still had pink marker on it. They could not be bothered to wipe down the remaining marks. 5. I was told I had damage to my alignment; repair work included an alignment but Caliber refused to balance the tires after the car drove strangely, instead telling me to "go to the place I purchased my tires, they'll do it". I complained to the insurance company about Caliber and they were able to remedy my problems. I was fortunate, other customers may not be. I would avoid Caliber. read more
