The only way not to pay the fee is to use a bank check or cash - neither of which is easy to obtain without a car. They don't mention the fee over the phone - they tell you after they've told you everything else -- just before signing on the dotted line. Had I known up front, I would have gone somewhere else. It really felt underhanded to me.

Terrible decision to take my vehicle here. Once the initial work was completed, upon picking up the…read morevehicle I noticed a fender emblem was sitting on my seat, dent in the fender that was "repaired", and dirt in the clear coat and paint (door, fender, bumper). During this time they charged me $200 more than my deductible because they billed my insurance company the wrong amount. Took it back for them to wet sand it just to pick it back up with portions that were not corrected (2nd visit). Took it back for the 3rd time to repaint and/or wet sand it. Upon pick up I noticed dirt in the paint on the fender. I'm wasting more time arranging times to pick up and drop off not including the time it takes for them to "fix" it. They offer lifetime warranty that you will need for sure! The manager has done everything in his power to help me with this matter but it still isn't correct. I purchased my Silverado 6 months ago brand new so I do not expect a low quality paint job because I didn't purchase it that way. Maybe they need better paint booths because this is exhausting. Taking it back won't correct the issue and will not be an option because it will be dirt in the paint regardless.

Worst experience I've ever had with a body shop. The work was ok (I would rate it 3 stars), but the…read moreservice was terrible. I had to bring my car back 3 times for them to fix details that they overlooked the first time. The new owner Reuben has no business sense and is a pain to deal with. If there are any issues that require him to take responsibility, he will do whatever he can to deny them, if you can't prove them. This includes avoiding your phone calls and being confrontational. Really, I would have been happy with just an apology for a minor mess up (even if they didn't fix it). But instead he argued and told me that I was the one responsible for the issue and there is no way that his guys made any mistakes. This was insulting to my intelligence and indicated to me that he is either naive or a liar. Some of the issues that he argued with me about is that when I went to pick up my car, there was marijuana in the door (which was illegal in MD at the time), and that a part of the door was missing. If you value your sanity and your dignity, take your car elsewhere.

I took my daughter's car to Miles as a second opinion: The first body shop we went to had said the…read moreroof had to be replaced, as it could not be repaired (during high winds, tree branches heavy enough fell onto and dented/banged up the roof). As the idea of cutting off the roof and also replacing the air bag clips as a result did not sit well with either my daughter or me, we decided to try Miles which we had used before (we had gone to the other body shop first, because it was much more convenient geographically to us; plus, it was recommended by our insurance company). I'm so glad we took it to Miles, because they were able to repair the roof and avoid messing with the airbag clips, and they did a great job. They also repaired for free (popped out) a big dent in the bumper/lower trunk area which was discovered shortly before taking it to Miles (mysterious how that dent got there) and therefore not covered under any insurance claim. That was really generous of Chris/Miles Body Shop to offer and provide this extra repair at no charge. Chris was flexible on our picking up the car and was cleaning it when we came by. They handled the insurance claim on their side as well. The car looks great, and as said before, we're so very happy to have taken the car to Miles Body Shop! (Note: Always get to Miles after turning on to Pine Ave (at the light), which the GPS might not always direct you to. Accessing it from Route 1 will get you trapped in a parking lot full of cars).

If you're reading this it's probably too late for you…read more By now, you may have realized Mark's Auto Body is not a place for regular, working-class people or regular (economy) cars. First, they kept telling me about alternate parts and that they couldn't use alternate parts if I wanted a certified Chevy repair. My ninja, this is a Chevy Cruze, not a Lambo, just make it run so I can reach my full-time job, attend my full-time graduate education, and run my part-time business. I couldn't care less what parts you use. But he just basically said if they didn't use the parts that cost more, they wouldn't be able to stand by their work (no warranty). Not a good look.... But secondly, when you try to say the damages are over $8k for a car only worth $9.5k (2011 Chevy Cruze) instead of totaling the car out... That's what you call a vulture and is mainly the reason why I believe Mark's Auto Body needs to take several seats. Shame on Autonation Chevy (now Ourisman Chevy) for referring me to them when I asked them for a Chevy dealership. Mark's Auto can respond to this review any way they desire, but pictures don't lie. Attached is a photo of my estimate from Mark's Auto (they call it a blueprint) vs a KBB private party valuation. Again, over $8k for a $9.5k (maybe) car. Instead of being honest and totaling it out to begin with, they wanted to go ahead on with the repair. Then they told me multiple times that I would be responsible for paying whatever the at-faults insurance company didn't pay. Yes, I got nervous and scared. I pleaded with them. I told them I'm in school and I work, and I don't have enough money to pay the difference (it was 2k after one adjustment). Especially because the accident wasn't my fault! They were NOT having it, lol. I said OK I don't want my car to be here anymore. Then, I was told it would be hundreds of dollars for them to remove my car from their shop. Also, at this point, I'm looking on Yelp and seeing reviews from people just like me. Lol, I don't know how their google listing rating is so high? Anyway, I called my insurance company, who declared total loss RIGHT AWAY. Both insurance companies (both at-fault's and mine) had nothing but negative things to say about Mark's Auto body practices. Greed, it's all greed. In the end, I didn't have to pay anything and I was relieved to have Nationwide swoop in and rescue me because I promise you these people over at Mark's are like robots with no emotion. Especially, Jason, he is rude when you ask probing questions to get the answers you need. You should probably only come here if you are rich and really, really LOVE your flashy, expensive car. If you have a regular, schmegular economy or commuter car, do NOT come here because they will try to rip you off. Like I said, pictures don't lie.

10/10 - The Only Body Shop I'll Ever Use…read more Restivo Auto Body & Towing Inc. -- and especially the owner, Greg -- deserve every bit of praise I can give. I brought in my Infiniti QX60 after it was damaged in the snow, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. They handled everything: the bumper, the radar sensor, and even the windshield washer tank issues. They even fixed some minor dents etc. I had over the years at no extra cost. The car now looks new. The level of care, precision, and honesty was beyond anything I've experienced at a body shop. I chose not to go through insurance to avoid a premium hike, and Greg personally worked with me to make sure the repairs were done right, fairly priced, and without cutting corners. His guidance was honest, transparent, and genuinely focused on what was best for me -- not what was easiest or most profitable for the shop. That kind of integrity is rare. The craftsmanship on my QX60 is flawless. The car looks and drives like nothing ever happened. You can tell Greg takes pride in his work and treats every vehicle like it's his own. I also learned that Restivo works on Teslas, which says a lot about their technical capability and attention to detail. If you have a Tesla -- or honestly any vehicle -- this is the place you want touching it. If you're looking for a body shop that is trustworthy, skilled, and truly customer‑focused, Restivo Auto Body & Towing is the one. Greg and his team have earned a lifelong customer. Highly recommended.

The receptionist was SUPER kind, I think her name was Melody (I forget because my car was there for so long). I was in a hit and run so I wanted to find a place that was in network with my insurance company so I didn't have to do the back and forth with estimates and also going to a shop place close to car rental places (this place is close to both Hertz and Enterprise) to make it convenient. The service was amazing - Quantay, my main contact was very good about communication, there were a couple misses in when it would be ready, or not so I did drive there once to pick up but it wasn't ready. I live in the city so it was a bit of a drive but I am glad I picked this place. I was impressed that Enterprise (even though they ended up giving me a faulty car and it was the holidays I had to drive to BWI to try to get into a new car, but they didn't have anything) had a car for me at the time of drop off so it was a super easy transition, and the same for drop off, I could leave the rental at Varsity!
