Beef & processed cheese enchiladas.
Mike C.

Well the good first. The place is very clean...even the restroom. The staff is very friendly and the service was on point. The ambiance is ok and nice Spanish music at just the right level. There is a small sign when you walk in that reads now serving Italian food...ahem thought this was a Mexican restaurant. Turns out it's Mexican food in one room and Italian in another. Ok?!? Now to the food. Chips not fresh and the red salsa is like water. They served a green salsa that actually was the only thing I liked. Everything was processed, bland and really not good. The beans, rice and cheese were definitely canned and flavorless. Too bad really, I hope they can up their game as they are very nice people and have a great location. Still not sure about the Mexican/Italian thing but maybe the Italian is better.

Great room!

YALLLLLL, This restaurant has been in Tomball for my whole life! Recently they have changed ownership and let me tell you what !!!! Seriously I would say the best Mexican food I have had in years! There were four of us we all had different things and everything from the green sauce to the charro beans, chips, rice, sweet tea and queso was amazing! Dont walk run to go get some fantastic food in your belly !! This place has great rooms for large parties and romantic dinners .. Can't wait to go back and I have been telling everyone about this place all day.

What a refreshing dining experience! They also bring out tastings of their non-alcoholic Crafted Refreshers: Signature Horchata, Piña Colada, Horchata Cappuccino, and Horchata Coconut. All were light, flavorful, and delicious. Unfortunately, they were out of the mojito -- the one I was most excited to try. We shared the 3 Shrimp Ceviche and the Grilled Beet Ceviche. The shrimp ceviche was wonderful -- bright and refreshing. We added a bit more lime for extra tang, though some may prefer it less tart. One small suggestion would be to cut the pieces slightly smaller so they stay on the chips more easily. The Grilled Beet Ceviche was unexpectedly dessert-like -- sweet, refreshing, and the perfect follow-up to the shrimp. Service was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer questions, while keeping drinks and chips refilled promptly. For a new restaurant, this place truly impressed. My only suggestions would be to provide a bit more chips with the salsa and to cut the ceviche pieces slightly smaller for easier eating. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely worth a visit.

We had dinner at Pecos Grilling on a Friday night. I called ahead to see if they had a full bar…read more Whoever answered the phone said there were open seats. Ummm... I re-asked several different ways and finally got what I was looking for! We waited about 5 minutes. We ordered a drink at the bar and then got sat. Once sat, our waitress acknowledged us about 3-5 minutes later. We ordered 2 waters, a coke and cheese sticks. The coke came first. The cheese sticks about 5 minutes later, then the water about 10 minutes later. Our waitress stopped by before the water got there to see if we were ready to order. We didn't even have water yet! The place was pretty busy. Our waitress just struggled to keep up with her tables. There was another waitress who was more experienced that jumped in and helped us. We finally were able to order our dinner. The cook, or someone, came out to tell us they were out of the cut of meat we ordered. This was a disappointment because we were here to celebrate my other half's birthday. So it wasn't off to a great start. We picked something else and by the time we got our food, it was cold. (Can you hear the heavy sigh?) The manager offered to take care of my meal, but I'm not about getting a free meal. I ended up letting him give us a discount. He was very nice and really tried to make things right. So, with all the things that went wrong, I am willing to give this place a try again.

Things may have changed since some of these diners reviewed but our whole party had great things to say. We all agreed we would go again at another time. We were lucky enough to get Megan as our server and she was phenomenal. Great asset to this business. She took the time to go over and give recommendations. It was our first time there. Very family friendly and the decor was well done. They offer a small bar in the front as you enter the restaurant for those who might want appetizers and watch a game and hangout. They appear to have a private room off to the side that holds about 50 people that they offer with a guarantee that you will spend a certain amount of money. We would def try again when we are in the area. Nice job Pecos Grilling Co. Wish you lots of success and lots more visitors to come your way. You are doing things right.
