This is the WORST Mexican restaurant I ve ever been to! The food and the staff was horrible and they have no customer service! We left a to go plate on the table, came back 5 minutes later and they had thrown it away. I ve never been to a restaurant where they won t fix more food or work with you at all. I went here after a friend recommended it. I heard quite a few people the restaurant was really good but I'm now convinced that the drinks must've attracted them. I ordered a steak fajita and it wasn't anything special. I was disappointed because I could've gotten something better somewhere cheaper. I don't see myself going here again. read more

I like this restaurant solely on the fact that you can get some of the best entrees but not listed on the menu. The carnitas can be ordered in any of the combinations of foods such as chimichangas, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc. and they charge it as the same price as shrimp. I can actually say that I crave these carnitas from this restaurant. Also good is the shrimp. I like their entree combination platters. Their margaritas are good and they have a decent happy hour. I have given this place many chances, the food is always passable, but the service is hit or miss. I ordered the special from the chalkboard in the foyer, which is what I thought I received... My wife got the Fajitas which came about 10 minutes after mine and my daughters, and was a curious combo of burned and cold. When we got the check I was charged for a different item than the special with a similar name. I asked for it to be corrected and was told that the special was only at lunch and not available for dinner... I pointed out that the chalkboard was on display at dinner and was not listed as a lunch special, she argued with me. I explained that sign was out, didn't specify it was a lunch only and was what I asked for and was what I was paying for, she was very unhappy but changed the price. Honestly wouldn't even give this place one star. They sucked. I placed a to go order over the phone and the owner got it wrong and I was missing part of my meal and I came back to tell her that I needed more cheese dip and she printed out my receipt and proceeded to argue with me for 10 minutes and I said that I would never come back here to my friend and she said she would take my picture. Then she proceeded to walk away as we were in the middle of discussing my cheese dip. This place needs to leave. read more

I wish I could say differently but this restaurant is absolutely horrible. I ordered chicken fajitas - they were burnt to a crisp, extremely dry, inedible. The kids food was all wrong, waited 30 minutes for redos, all the while saying "your food will be right out". Evidently it sat in the kitchen because when it did come out....it was cold. Today I ordered the margarita fajita chicken salad. My chicken was seasoned to perfection, however my tortilla was a bit stale. I think we may have come during a shift change because it took about 15 minutes before our drink orders were taken. The server (Alex) was great! He had a great sense of humor and checked on us frequently. The Texas margarita was excellent!!! Will definitely go back again despite the stale tortilla, because everyone has there days and they were clearly understaffed. I'll have an update soon. read more

Don't waste your time. I've given then too many chances. Bad service, dirty, greasy, bad service, just pitiful.

We had been here about a year ago and can't recall having any complaints. But this time the food was less than adequate. I had a burrito and my wife a chicken quesadilla. After one bite, my wife spit it out and never ate another bite. I finished my meal, but it just wasn't very good. The food is horrible. I called in for takeout. I asked for a wrapped steak & shrimp burrito & I get a loose tortilla with just steak shrimp & bell pepper inside of it with sauce on the side & it was $15 which was ridiculous for such low quality food & preparation. Upon expressing my concerns to the manager Xgar, I was presented with an arrogant and condescending attitude. He lacks management skill and will definitely cause other patrons not to return to this establishment. When I want Mexican food, this is where I want to go. I love the salsa, the sweet tea, the pretty much everything. I usually go for the Pollo Jaros. It's yummy and covered in queso. What more could you ask for? read more

This restaurant has very poor service. We have tried over and over to give them our business. This time my wife ordered a Taco Salad. She was given a fajita taco salad. She argued with my wife about the order. Then stomped off. She brought the correct taco salad and it was super salty. We told her to forget it and we would pay for mine and just leave. She was telling the manager and see didn't know I could see her. She had anger on her face. When she came over she had an attitude from the start. She also got an attitude with us. Then picked up the plate and left. We ended up not paying for the order but had to leave hungry. Ended up having somewhere else. This is only one of our bad experiences at this place. this was a good restaurant I found in Clinton MS. didn't think there would be any authentic Mexican food out here but this place is pretty legit. i've already been out a few times. its really easy to get full off the salsa and chips because of how good they are. try the pollo margarita dish! definitely worth checking out again. read more

We stopped going several months ago due to such horrible service over and over again. Tonight we decided to give it another shot since our power was off. Unfortunately the service has just gotten worse. The table (of the same number of people) that came in after us received their food and paid before we received our food. It took 15 min to get our drinks. 3/4 of our food was incorrect when we received it an hour later after being seated. We stopped going several months ago for a reason. Good food...cannot complain about that. The problem is that everytime we order take-out, they get the order WRONG! This last time we ordered a meal for 3 people, and something was wrong with all 3 meals. I called to see if they would make it right and I got told that we ordered what we got (not the case, as I had the ticket in my hand) and "Well, what do you want?". Got seated in a booth around 8:00pm. At 8:10 heard screaming from the adjacent booth as a group of five scrambled out to get away from the cockroach. No one asked us if we would like to move so I was on "bug watch" for my wife at that point. At 8:15 our waitress delivered chips and salsa while complaining that she was at war with the cooks. We placed our order for food and drinks. I ordered the Arrachera steak and had to pronounce it and point to it on the menu. The waitress repeated it back to me. At 8:30 we complained to the cashier (we were seated directly behind him) that we still didn't have drinks. The waitress delivered our drinks to the table at 8:40 along with an explanation that she had been "fighting to get our order into the computer". At 8:45 our food was delivered but it wasn't what we had ordered. The waitress tried to tell me it was my fault because I pointed to the wrong thing on the menu but I didn't budge, reminding her that she had me repeat it and then she said it back to me. I sent mine back. We then spoke to the manager who listened to what we had to say, but she didn't do much. Her "fix" was to not make me pay for the food I didn't order and didn't eat. She also gave us a 15% discount which wasn't quite enough to cover the $3.50 up-charge for the queso fresco my wife had requested for her enchiladas. I went home hungry and disappointed. The food is ok, but the service and attitude is going to keep me from going back. Too bad because I used to like this place. read more

This was a horrible experience the food was mediocre and the female manager does not have customer skills at all. The waiter charged me extra for items he stated were not an extra cost. After receiving my bill he then acted as if he did not understand English very well so the female manager had to come to the table. This manager was unfriendly and rude from the beginning. She just walked to the table did not smile, did not greet us or anything, she just looked at us. We ended up greeting her and then she was still extremely dry with her response. She acted as if she did not want to be bothered. As I was explaining to her what the waiter had told me she was not listening. She was looking in the menu pointing to the items as if I was not capable of reading. Instead of taking into account of what the staff member had told me she continued to point to the menu and tell me what it stated.
