While it was more than acceptable, I gauge all Mexican fast food by the trucks at Longwharf in New Haven, in particular the Ixtapa truck located there. I think the competition between Mexican food trucks at Longwharf makes the qualtiy and experience definitely of a higher order. Ixtapa near the X in Springfield is good and worthy of a drive by. I am certainly happy they are so conveniently located but if you are a serious Mexican food enthusiast, you might not be overly impressed, on the other hand if you have the craves and want a decent quality product at an affordable price by all means stop and check them out, that's what I did.
