After this weekend, now she is stuck with me forever! I was already a fan of hers, and then she did my niece's hair and makeup for prom a few months ago. And WOW! She did an amazing job. My niece looked like an angel, or a model. So that solidified my opinion on where to go for special events. Then, this weekend, my daughter, my niece and I all needed services. I needed a Brazilian and a haircut, and my teenage girls needed cuts & colors. We invaded on Saturday and were there pretty much all day. And we actually had so much fun! Honest to God, I have paid 4 times the amount that we paid here for just my daughter's hair. Both of the girls look fan-freaking-tastic, and I love my hair as well! We all walked in with photos of what we wanted, and Rhonda listened, advised, and worked with us, so we all walked out with everything we wanted! The girls' hair looks amazeballs!! Especially my niece who had severely damaged her hair with non-professional dye jobs, WAY too strong bleach, and years of teenage experimentation and neglect. She walked in with fried, unhealthy, muticolored hair, and walked out with long, beautiful, shiny healthy hair that looks super natural. We have all three gotten several compliments on our hair. My mother even said she was calling soon to have her hair done. I will never go anywhere else, for any other service. I'm officially Rhonda's stalker!

Upon my arrival she greeted me with a friendly hello and let me know she would be with me shortly as she wrapped up with her current client. She promptly started on my hair and I was done in 30 minutes. Jasmine made my hair gorgeous. No waiting for hours and if I did have to wait there is a cute waiting area for me to be seated. The sign just invites you into a place where you will feel very welcomed. I love going to barbershops. In my experience, the people at hair salons are reticent about cutting a woman's hair really short; whereas, the men at the barbershop have no problem with cutting, fading and lining at sista's head. No problem at all. This was the pleasant experience at this shop also. Terrinon (I hope I spelled it correctly), the owner and another barber were in the shop when I entered. Everyone greeted me at the owner asked me how may I help you? And he seemed really surprised when I said I wanted to cut. But he was probably surprised because my hair is already rather low from other peoples standards. And I sit in Teryan's chair and described what I wanted. He talked me through his process told me what he was going to do and also let me know that at each stage he would stop and ask me if everything is OK before he cut any further. I really like this communication, and I appreciated the transparency of his telling me his process before he took clippers to my hair. The conversation in the barbershop was jovial. There were a few TVs on sports information shows which is totally fine with me. I also really liked the signs that warned the customers to use no profanity in this establishment and to keep their children under control. I really liked the signs and the fact that the owner and the other barbers were adamant about keeping a nice clean family friendly establishment. I visit Mobile often. So I will keep this place in mind when I'm in Mobile and I need a cut.
