Close to Wisconsin, deer hunting theme...yep. Key factors are that it is very clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming to us city-folk. We were a group of 9 arriving right at lunch and easily got a table for all of us - which happened to be right night to a TV playing a Arsenal F.C. game - a dream come true for my 14 year old Arsenal fan. To be clear, the food was NOT fancy, but my club sandwich was just like what I would make at home, and the fries were OFF THE CHARTS DELICIOUS. Service was friendly and attentive. I would recommend!

Had a couple beers as well. Food was quick, hot and delicious. Arrived about 7:10 and it closes at 8, so there was no wait. Just the right amount of interaction and people. The bartender was great and provided exactly what I asked for - nothing more and nothing less. I'm a city girl and a foodie, if that helps in your assessment. Maybe I should also mention I was quite hungry after 8 miles mostly on the SHT with my two doggos. Great visit!

He stopped by our table, apologized for the wait, and sat down and explained the concept behind the restaurant. It was really cool that he took that time to let us know about the locally sourced ingredients! The ambiance is casual but elegant. Like the details of the decor are absolutely stunning. Now let's talk about the food: the menu has some really creative options even for vegetarians, which I feel I've been hard-pressed to find in Duluth. I had their cashew queso bowl, which includes seasoned black beans, potato, onion, green pepper, roasted garlic salsa, pickled onion and microgreens all on top of the cashew queso. My husband had the breakfast burrito which is a flour tortilla filled with sausage, egg, seasoned potatoes, mild cheddar cheese and roasted garlic salsa. The food is so delicious and the portions are generous. Oh, I also had their chocolate pistachio latte, and my husband had the drip coffee. They have VERY good coffee here. If there are any places you just can't miss when visiting Duluth, I'd put Duluth Coffee Company at the top of the list.

CRISPY BRUSSEL SPROUTS Sweet and spicy soy glaze with sautéed red peppers and scallions. These were a little too heavy on the sauce for my liking, but otherwise very good. If you're not a fan of sweeter flavors, this one may not be for you. BUFFALO MAC & CHEESE Cavatappi pasta tossed in a creamy mac sauce, topped with crispy buffalo chicken, blue cheese crumbles, and onion straws. We added bacon and chicken, and this was a top pick for us! The buffalo sauce had the perfect balance--not overly spicy, but enough flavor to complement the creamy mac and cheese. CPB CO. FISH AND CHIPS Craft beer-battered haddock served with Northcoaster fries and house-made tartar sauce. Another top pick for us! The fish was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly fried. Honestly, one of the best fried fish dishes I've had in Minnesota. Unfortunately, I can't report on the beer as I'm not a big drinker...Sorry! Overall, a fantastic experience with great food, welcoming service, and plenty of variety. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Duluth!

The beer selection was a little smaller than we expected, but there was still a nice variety of styles, so everyone in our group found something they enjoyed. They also have a full bar with specialty cocktails. The food menu was surprisingly large with lots of unique and fun options to try. The only small downside was that the Brussels sprouts were still a little undercooked for our taste, but everything else was excellent and more than made up for it. Excellent brisket, fish n chips, and build your own burger! The garlic aioli and IPA mustard sauces were definitely memorable. Overall, it's a great spot for good food, craft beer, and a fun atmosphere located right on the pier. We'd definitely come back!

I get tired of French fries and the baked potato was an excellent change up. The tasty white fish was a good size filet. The coleslaw was a light vinegar style. Even the roll was good. I just left the car locked and running while I went in to order, put my placard down on a table outside, then went and grabbed the pup from the car. The Caesar Salad with chicken was lovely and had nice, crisp greens - not just the light colored watery lettuce, this had the medium and dark green goodness too. Still a little bland tasting, but it is a nice size and I ate the whole thing. The chicken on top of it was warm and freshly cooked, and absolutely delicious. I shared a piece of chicken and some lettuce with my pup and he likewise approved. It was a warm sunny day, so I ordered a Kentucky Mule to go along with my salad. Staff was a little busy with tables inside (lots of children at one table) so they forgot about my drink sitting on the bar. It came out just after my salad, so I just decided to make it my dessert instead of my appetizer :) Friendly staff and good food. If you're out this way, why not stop in and enjoy for yourself?
