Larsen's Auto Repair - My car. - Auto Repair Near Me - Provo, Utah

A bit more expensive for an oil change than some other local service spots, but boy do you get what you pay for! Clear communication, prices for parts are great, maintenance inspections are always thorough, and repairs are done efficiently and done right. I've never been dissatisfied at this shop. Great shop! read more

Had a check engine light come on after having our Volvo's coolant exchanged at a different shop, and something just didn't feel right when they wanted to do further diagnosis when the OBD2 scan showed coolant issues. The engine wasn't overheating and the coolant level was normal. Was in town out of state and called Larsen's for advice based on their reviews and location. Spoke to Sebastian and he gave me several scenarios and options on ways to proceed, putting me significantly at ease. The next day I came by and the check engine light had gone away, so Sebastian took a quick look and everything looked ok. I felt very confident in this shop vs the other I had been to the day before, and am thankful to Sebastian for putting me at ease. We were able to drive back 2 states away through the desert without incident. read more

I was having issues with my car and was looking to find a cheap, yet honest shop. Larsen's has good reviews so I gave them a call. Instead of trying to get me to bring my car in right away to charge me for a diagnostic, they gave me a list of possibilities over the phone of what the problem may be. Long story short, they got me in the next day and had it finished in a few hours. It was very affordable and my car feels great. Would highly recommend Larsen's, especially if you're a price-sensitive college kid like me. read more

They were informed, professional and got me right in. I needed some diagnosis help and the shop I went to a shop I trusted before in SLC But they could not find the problem and they seemed to be guessing and charged me too much for the diagnosis. So happy when Larsen's were on there game, they got me in the next day. Thank goodness I got refered to Larsen's. They figured it all out. and gave me options on the what next Thiet prices are more than fair and they are more than honest and more than smart. They solve problems. Thank you Larsen's. DY read more

I have gone to this establishment many times and have been taken care of honestly and quickly. These guys are amazing. I made the mistake of going somewhere close and for my emissions and some maintenance and had the worst experience. I have been going to these guys for everything for the last 8 years and I guess I just needed a bad experience with someone else to remind me how awesome they are. They are honest, their prices are competitive, and the quality of their work is insanely good plus their customer service is fantastic. I drive past at least a hundred other shops just to get to them. read more

They do great work, are accommodating at making an appointment when you need it and have the best prices around. Very honest about just doing the work that needs to be done, not screwing you over with unnecessary work. I trust them a lot. Highly recommended! read more

I have gone to a lot of service centers/repair shops and Larsen's is head and shoulders better than any I have been to. I stumbled upon them by buying a discount card that are sold door to door thinking, "Okay, I'll buy one for the oil changes, get my money's worth and be done." Well, my experience was so good that when my brakes needed replacing I didn't hesitate to take my car to them. I later got a complete tune up before my move across the country. Great price and exceptional service. I have since moved to Florida, but I still call every now and then to ask for advice and service questions that I run into. They are more than willing to answer any question I have and offer advice without the least bit of reservation. Go to Larsen's, give them a chance to earn your business and I am confident that they will! You won't be sorry. read more

They are quick, and from all sources I've heard are honest & hard working!

After today, i won't take my car anywhere else. Long story short, because i tend to ramble, they sent out a guy to help jump my car since i lived close to their shop, and when that didn't work they put a tow rope on it and hauled it so i wouldn't have to pay a tow company. They fit me into their super busy schedule, had a part delivered from slc, and got it installed and fixed for me by the close of the day so i wouldn't have to pay for a rental car. After i paid my bill i asked the receptionist who the awesome mechanic was who had been helping me all day, and she told me his name was Terry, the OWNER of the shop. That right there gets my business for life. Thank you so much for your wonderful service!!! I'll be back. read more

Best work for the best prices. Place does look a little dumpy, but it's my number one choice for auto repairs.

We have taken several cars to Larsen's Auto over the past few years. We have older cars, both foreign and US made. They have always been able to fix them. They get it done quickly, their prices are great, and they don't try to upsell us on anything or recommend repairs that aren't really necessary. I highly recommend them! read more

I have come here three times so far: the first time was for a broken right front CV axle. The second time was for a broken left front CV axle (also, a rock had flown into my AC condenser while on I-15, severely damaging it). Although every car is different, my CV axles were ~$273 each and the condenser was $441 (insurance paid for the condenser). The third time was to fix the plastic protector under my front fender. Not only are their prices excellent, but they are the most professional, friendly, honest, and caring mechanics I have ever encountered. As long as I am within a 50-mile radius of Larsen's, I plan to always use them as my mechanic. I highly, highly recommend coming here to get a car fixed. read more

I had a great experience with these guys. I procrastinated renewing my registration, which required safety and emissions tests, until a few days before the due date. I found a Valpak coupon for them online that had them quite cheaper than any other place in the area. When I called them up they were packed full of appointments but moved things around a bit so that they could take care of me before my registration expired. They were pretty quick in taking care of things too. Great service, great price! read more

Been going to Larsen's for various repairs for about 3 years and I've never been disappointed. They are honest, transparent, straightforward, and have your best interest in mind which is so refreshing these days. They're not just looking for any way to make more money off of you. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good mechanic. read more

While on vacation the AC went out in my vehicle and we needed to replace the compressor. Larsen's was able to get us in within 1 day and replace it same day. They were highly professional and efficient in their work. I highly recommend using their services! read more

We recently moved back to UT county from Davis county. It's awesome having a good mechanic you can trust--which is what we had in Davis County. Our old mechanic from UT County no longer has a shop so we needed to find another good mechanic. Searching reviews online we found Larsen's and they live up to the reviews! Equally as good as our Davis County mechanic (Jer's Auto for those up there), we've found "our mechanic" in UT County! We've taken all our vehicles to them for safety, emissions (great coupon on valpak), registrations and repairs. They are very fast, honest and upfront and don't charge you for extra "stuff" you don't need. They even tell you what you can get away with and what is absolutely necessary--then they work hard to get you the best deal possible. Friendly staff, comfortable, home-like lobby and great work. Highly recommend this local business. The location doesn't look like much from the outside, but these guys are ALWAYS busy. Get an appointment to make it slick and easy. Head to Larsen's Automotive and you'll have found "your mechanic" too! read more
