I visited rug depot after I had researched the floor I wanted for my new addition and home reno. They were one of the few authorized dealers of this flooring in the area so I came in after work to see the samples. Rodney assisted me and I was blown away at how enthusiastic he was to help me. I'm an indecisive person but he was great at not swaying me one way or the other while giving me great feedback about each sample. I had gone to big name stores before coming here and the experience is completely different.... almost nostalgic. The way it used to be when people were passionate about what they did and truly cared about the product they were selling. At one point I asked if I could borrow some samples to see how they translated in my home and not only did Rodney oblige, he drove them to my house about 15 minutes away himself. Rodney is truly the best in the business and I'm so happy I stumbled upon him. He cares about his customers and it's so very clear in every interaction. I would recommend him to all my friends and will go to him for any floor needs.

Carpet artists! I…read morelooked at dozens of carpet sources and hundreds of carpet runners. I will be forever glad I went with Churchill Rugs & Carpets. Mark and his staff treated my small project as important and worthy of their close attention. They had a great range of carpet runners and advice for my installation so that once I finally made my selection, I was really confident in my choice. In the end, my total cost was $100 more than a big box store (initials HD) -- and the carpet quality was much, much better. The Churchill installation is what really blew me away -- Rosio and her team were true artists cleverly mitering the bordered runner to fit a multi-angled landing. Absolutely everyone who crosses my threshold says "Wow, you had that custom made, right?" Compare that to HD who sent an estimator who said he knew absolutely nothing about how they would deal with my unusually-shaped foyer. I also used Churchill for the flooring in 2 bathrooms -- they had a huge range of Marmoleum which is a great alternative to vinyl. Both of those installations were perfect as well. Bottom line: Churchill Rugs & Carpets care about their customers and they stand by their work.

I had Craftmaster Hardwood Flooring redo the worn and neglected wood floors when I bought my house…read morea few years back. The finish on my floors were gone, there was a lot of wear all over and the previous owner's large Rottweiler also dug deep scratch grooves into the wood throughout the house. Mike from Craftmaster came by my house, measured the floor space, gave me an estimate and explained exactly what he would do. I had checked with a few other contractors but I thought the price Mike offered, his professionalism and what he offered was the best so I went with his firm. I'm really glad I did because his crew did a great job and even after a few years my floors still look great. One thing I really liked about them was that they were really decent and straightforward - they had found some areas of extra damage that the previous homeowner had hidden but Mike's crew didn't charge me for it. I had budgeted carefully for each project I needed done so I really appreciated it. I've since recommended Craftmaster to family and neighbors and highly recommend them for any refinishing or new installation of hardwood floors.

He arrived on time, did what needed to be done with minimal disruption, and left the job site neat and orderly. This is the experience I had with Premier Refinishing. I deliberately waited almost a year to write this review because I wanted to be sure that the refinishing did what I hoped it would do...make my outdated bathroom look more modern. I also wanted to ensure that the paint stuck to the tiles without bubbling or peeling. I'm pleased to say that Sal and his crew exceeded my expectations. Sal provided an accurate quote, his crew arrived on time each day, took great care to maintain a clean work site, and were personable and efficient. When a minor issue arose, Sal showed up ON EASTER DAY to make sure he understood what needed to be corrected and had his team come to me the next business day. As it turns out, the fix was relatively simple. I highly recommend using Premier Finishing based on the professionalism with which they executed the job.

I venomed the deposit the previous evening to Luis and texted him the next day at 7am to let him know that the basement door was unlocked so that the cleaners can come through the back entrance. At 8:45a the cleaners still hadn't showed up so I texted Luis back asking where they were. At 9:15a I gave Luis a call and left a voicemail. At that point, I'm thinking maybe I got scammed so I texted my friend who had originally referred me to Luis, to see if this is normal for this person. At approximately 12:45p (almost six hours from my first text in the morning), Luis finally calls me back and gives me an attitude and tells me that he didn't appreciate that I had contacted my friend earlier to ask about him and because we paid the deposit so late the previous night (we paid him at 11:30p) he didn't schedule his staff for the day and that he doesn't want my business and abruptly hangs up on me. Luis did pay the deposit back right way; however, his rude phone call was highly unprofessional. I should note that I informed him the previous day of the cleaning that because I was running around the city that the deposit wouldn't be paid until later in the evening when I got home. And I do understand that there may have been a mix up, and that is ok. Had he responded back to me in a timely manner that day to explain the situation, we could have rescheduled, with no problem at all. But the fact that he waits almost 6 hours to get back to me and proceeds to berate me in a rude and vicious tone is absolutely uncalled for.

They diligently cleaned everything - lighting fixtures, floors, crawl spaces with the air conditioning ducts, in deep recesses of closets, each fireplace, things that possibly were never cleaned or certainly never cleaned as well. The floors were waxed and they came with fans and blowers to dry them. When I showed pictures to my family, the phrase "oh wow!" was the always the first utterance.
