He arrived on time, did what needed to be done with minimal disruption, and left the job site neat and orderly. This is the experience I had with Premier Refinishing. I deliberately waited almost a year to write this review because I wanted to be sure that the refinishing did what I hoped it would do...make my outdated bathroom look more modern. I also wanted to ensure that the paint stuck to the tiles without bubbling or peeling. I'm pleased to say that Sal and his crew exceeded my expectations. Sal provided an accurate quote, his crew arrived on time each day, took great care to maintain a clean work site, and were personable and efficient. When a minor issue arose, Sal showed up ON EASTER DAY to make sure he understood what needed to be corrected and had his team come to me the next business day. As it turns out, the fix was relatively simple. I highly recommend using Premier Finishing based on the professionalism with which they executed the job.

I had water damage to one of my room upstairs due to a radiator leak. I wasn't sure if we needed to do just the 1 room or the whole upstairs since the wood is all connected. When I had spoken to him on the phone he said there may be a slightly different color if we do just the one room. So before he came out, I asked if he can get us both quotes. He came out when I wasn't home but my wife was. He didn't measure anything. Look at the room where the damage was and left. He didn't look at the rest of the upstairs. I didn't get a message for him so I texted him. He gave me a quote for the one room. I asked, do you have a quote for how much it would be for the whole upstairs. He said he didn't look at the other room upstairs. I described the size of the other room upstairs and he texted back with a quote. I asked if you can send me in writing the 2 quotes. He said he has to charge me $150 for the quotes. Then I said, "What? Why?" He never responded. Just in case he didn't see it, I text him again the next day. He didn't respond again. If you've worked with a lot of folks in the trades, this is very much the exception to the rule, and as such I was pleasantly surprised. Lou quickly got back to me with a very reasonable quote, and once we agreed on the details and a date, we were off and running. We had some damage and discoloration on our white oak floors, and we wanted to sand and refinish them. Lou was helpful as we got together the paperwork my building required to get it done. On the agreed upon day, his guys showed up on time, and while they weren't the excellent communicators that he is (their English wasn't great), they were conscientious and obviously knew what they were doing. Lou said the work would take 1-2 days, and they were done in just a day. We had a minor hiccup after the fact, but Lou immediately investigated the issue, and handled it well. Mark and his staff treated my small project as important and worthy of their close attention. They had a great range of carpet runners and advice for my installation so that once I finally made my selection, I was really confident in my choice. In the end, my total cost was $100 more than a big box store (initials HD) -- and the carpet quality was much, much better. The Churchill installation is what really blew me away -- Rosio and her team were true artists cleverly mitering the bordered runner to fit a multi-angled landing. Absolutely everyone who crosses my threshold says "Wow, you had that custom made, right?" Compare that to HD who sent an estimator who said he knew absolutely nothing about how they would deal with my unusually-shaped foyer. I also used Churchill for the flooring in 2 bathrooms -- they had a huge range of Marmoleum which is a great alternative to vinyl. Both of those installations were perfect as well. Bottom line: Churchill Rugs & Carpets care about their customers and they stand by their work.
