as promised, I am the 21st review here. called to get some hardwood floors refinished and some…read morevinyl flooring in the kitchen. their marketing pitch is good and their flooring comes in a "package" of standard, premium, and elite, which makes it easier to think about compared to other companies formats. everyone seemed to work hard and communicated, and I appreciate everyones hard work and think they generally tried to do an above average job for my unit as I had some specific requests. ultimately, I am generally happy with the work, but you might want to be careful picking the wood stain color (as with wall paint colors. It is a lot of work :)). I got golden oak, but not sure if I love it. maybe should have gone with the golden pecan. also, be aware though that the existing molding will likely get scratched and you might have to repaint it/touch it up. But thanks, we like the flooring and will consider Modi again for future floor projects

Normal wear and tear over her 3 year timeframe warranted new carpets (they were due for replacement anyway). Linoleum Sales installed beautiful carpets within a few days. The quality is great and the workmanship was solid. I selected a darker color and lower pile to help maintain the integrity and beauty of the condo. I am very pleased with the finished product. I strongly encouraged my new tenants to leave their shoes at the door!

I had water damage to one of my room upstairs due to a radiator leak. I wasn't sure if we needed to do just the 1 room or the whole upstairs since the wood is all connected. When I had spoken to him on the phone he said there may be a slightly different color if we do just the one room. So before he came out, I asked if he can get us both quotes. He came out when I wasn't home but my wife was. He didn't measure anything. Look at the room where the damage was and left. He didn't look at the rest of the upstairs. I didn't get a message for him so I texted him. He gave me a quote for the one room. I asked, do you have a quote for how much it would be for the whole upstairs. He said he didn't look at the other room upstairs. I described the size of the other room upstairs and he texted back with a quote. I asked if you can send me in writing the 2 quotes. He said he has to charge me $150 for the quotes. Then I said, "What? Why?" He never responded. Just in case he didn't see it, I text him again the next day. He didn't respond again. Extremely disappointed with him and his lack of response.
