Pleasing experience. Great customer service as both the host and the waiters were very polite and helpful. The food was good out of five I would give it a 4. I don't know if it's because I went on a Sunday night around 8:30 or I don't know what other reason it could be. The Bihari boti was off the chain would definitely try that again. The chicken boti was okay mines was raw and hard to bite into. The nihari we got had a few issues but we talked with the host and he promised us that wasn't the normal case and that next time it would be a lot better. Very delicious food. Had the butter chicken curry with a side of rice and was very tasteful. Butter or Garlic Naan bread is a must. The menu is not overwhelming and easy to understand. If you are in the area and craving some Indian food this is a good stop. read more

I finally had sometime to give this place a try after passing by it everyday for months. The food was DELICIOUS!! I typically make the drive from Cypress to 59/Hilcroft to get some great Indian/Pakistani food, but decided to give this place a try after seeing all the great reviews it had. Am I glad I did. I ordered chicken tikka masala with goat biryani and was not disappointed. Both dishes were well prepared and full of flavor. So glad this place exists in my area I wont need to travel across Houston for authentic Indian/Paskastani food anymore. read more

Worst restaurant ever! I ordered chicken shawarma and get a funny tasting meat, when I checked out I asked the owner what kind of meat did I have it's not chicken! He said oh it's beef shawarma, and I said I can't eat beef , he blamed me that I didn't tell him at the first place which I did and I checked with him for twice! I believe this place does not even deserve the 1-star review. This place broke my heart because I took my family out here from the recommendation of a friend. The setting of the place is not that great to begin with--- but I let that slide. We ordered 1 biryani, 1 barbeque platter (I don't know why it's $30- the serving size is very small), 1 nihari (the only good item they have to offer), 2 mango lassis (because the food was ridiculously spicy), chicken karahi (no comment), and samosas ( these were frozen in the inside). There was only 1 waiter serving all of the customers which is unacceptable because we were there on a weekend. The meat on the barbeque platter was not fully cooked... and then biryani was presented with only 1 lonely potato that was uncooked. FIRST OF ALL- THE ONLY POTATO THEY HAD TO OFFER WAS UNCOOKED, HOW COULD YOU DO THIS? At the end of the day, we had enough with the food and felt very insulted so we told the lady who seemed in charge. She was EXTREMELY rude and was very offended rather apologetic with our concerns. She was very cold (like the frozen samosa) and later at the end said she would give us a 20% discount (as if she was doing us a favor) and kept asking "what do you expect me to do". I do not recommend this place to anyone because the food is uncooked and the customer service is awful. read more

Went to Larosh Grill for dinner and wasn't disappointed. The menu included karhai, paya, tikka and more. We ordered the chicken malai boti and the beef nihari- both were excellent! The naan were piping hot. Exactly the same taste you would find in Karachi, and that's v difficult to find here. We now have a new fav place to eat Nihari! read more

we recently did Ifftar dinner for about 60 people in Larosh Grill their service are really good fantastic and food was awsome our guest really like their food and enjoyed every moment at resturant they did really hard work on catering and provided what ever we ask for on time fresh n delicious food really good taste in food we all enjoyed alot must try their gulab jamun all fresh made and chicken tikka motton pilao karhai qeema roll naan aloo palak everything was so yummy delicious we also have tried their bombay karhai before it was also very delicious u can eat daily it was that good and best part is their cutlery and dinnerwares and sitting its very neat n good quality i wish them best of luck for future and would recommend to all friends read more

Excellent food. I went there with my family and we were initially curious as it was almost empty. The food turned out to be one of the best Pakistani meals I've ever had. Very good home-cooked style and very well flavored. The location is a bit far from were we are (other side of Katy), but it was well worth the drive. Also reasonably priced. The food is great, the environment not so much. From the time we walked into the door, it was super awkward. There was no music and only two other people in the restaurant so it was very very quiet. The waitress took a while to come out and take our drinks, and then quite a while after that to get our drinks out. She made the thing into a big deal, which I don't think was her fault, I think she was just nervous. After getting our drinks, we ordered which we would eventually find she got wrong. It took quite a bit of time again to get our food even though at this point we were literally the only people in the restaurant. When the food arrived, the waitress completely forgot who got what which wasn't a big deal but then we found that she had gotten a couple of the orders wrong. I got the chicken boti, but she came out with the chicken malai boti. I was pretty hungry and I didn't want to make a big deal so I just took it. The food was very, very good. Even though it wasn't what I ordered, I still really enjoyed it. I really think they need to work on customer service and some ambient music to make it less awkward. This restaurant looks promising so hopefully my future experiences will be better than this. read more

Larosh Grill - One of the best Indian restaurants on the west side. We are a group of old foodies who have been around the globe a time or two and know good taste when discovered. Larosh food is tasty and satisfying. Chicken Tikka Masala is my yardstick to compare Indian restaurants, and this one is very good. If you want some old time specialty dishes like "Makke Ki Roti (corn roti) & Sarso Ka Saag (mustard greens saag-curry)" you've found the right place. You may need to order a few days ahead but the trip will be worth it to take you down the memory lane. Special orders require a purchase commitment but that's understandable, given that this is a small operation. Our group also custom pre-ordered Bajri Ki Roti and that was a hit. Our adventure was fixated on dhaba's in the wheat fields of Punjab and there we no disappointments from fresh roti to hot tea. Can't wait to hit this joint again. read more

Surprised this restaurant received high ratings but i can see it from some people's point of view. This restaurant is really clean which i believe is the best part about this place. However when it comes to food its pretty much comparable to home cooked desi food. For example look at the biryani which is not even real biryani. The best item they have is beef seekh kabob. I recently moved from Chicago to Dallas, in Chicago all we have is good Desi food and although Dallas was a nice city their halal desi food wasn't. I was always told that if I wanted good Halal food I should go to Houston. I was recommend 3 places to eat and Larosh Grill was one of them. All I could say was that it was OUTSTANDING. When I went the grilled Orange chicken was a new dish on the menu and it's not your conventional Asian orange chicken, it's a chicken Tikka type mixed with Orange Juice and it was extremely flavorful. Their Butter Chicken was better than any butter chicken I had in Dallas and their grilled items were outstanding. The chicken biryani was tasty but spicy so if you like spicy check out the biryani. Overall the atmosphere is very family oriented, it's clean, the staff and ownership are very nice people who value excellence and great service. Multiple times the owners had come out to talk to us about our experience and what they could do to be better and that too they knew we were younge, older desi's dont value our opinions (bundoo khan) and dont care to provide the best experience.This isn't your conventional desi restaurant, I won't be surprised If in the next few years they start becoming a household name.
