Qeema samosas - 9/10 Beek seekh kabob - 9/10 Chicken biryani - 8.5/10 Nihari - 9/10 Kashmiri chai - 8/10 For me personally its hard to find GOOD desi restaurants but this spot was overall great and the prices were also better than other desi restaurants. They had a lot of options and everything we tried was flavorful and delicious. Definitely going back here!

The portions are very small. I called and complained but the owner said the meat melted that's why there is no meat in the Nihari. What kind of BS excuse is that. Not worth buying from this place.

I really enjoyed this spot! I love trying new foods and wanted something traditional South Asian cuisine. Customer service was very nice and fast. Seemed to be family owned. No issues with ordering at all. We were given some house favorites as recommendations and ultimately went with the butter chicken, jasmine rice, yellow curry noodles and the mini samosas. Everything was hot and smelled great. The yellow curry was very spicy but manageable and nothing crazy. Butter chicken was very good. Mostly because of the sauce. I do think the chicken was very condensed and cube like almost manufactured. I doubt it would taste good without the sauce on it. I'd like to see actual chicken in it next time. To go packaging was very nice and they even seran wrapped everything so nothing spilled on the way home. We spent just under $40 with a tip for everything and fully fed three people with some left over. I would say it was a great value. I may return yes!

We went on a 3 course meal food tour and visited 3 new places. Our 2nd stop was Larosh for entrees. We were greeted right away by a very friendly man named Nasir. We stated that we were first time visitors and took his suggestions on what to order. He mentioned how everything is made fresh to order so it would take some time. He was right, you can definitely taste the freshness in the dishes. Typically with traditional Indian curry you have a very pungent taste/smell if the ingredients are not fresh or the protein is not cooked to order... basically the longer that it sits already cooked the stronger it gets. By the taste of all of our food none of it had been premade with the exception of maybe the rice but it was fresh for the day at least and not leftover from previous days. The Shrimp Masala with the spicy sauteed tomato and fresh herbs curry was amazing. The shrimp itself was fresh, cooked to perfection and did not have a refrigerated old flavor at all. The Bombay Karahi is prepared and served in a karahi, a type of wok often used in South Asian cooking. Not only was the presentation beautifully executed but the aroma steaming from it as the food was placed on the table made our mouth water. The chicken breast pieces blended well with the ginger and spices gravy type of sauce. It had a very buttery silky taste that was not overpowering at all by the ginger which is something you are accustomed to when trying a ginger infused dish. The basmati rice was nothing special or out of the ordinary but paired very well with our protein dishes and non the less was cooked well. It was fluffy and tender, not sticky. You could tell they used a bit of turmeric for the added effect of the coloring mixed with the toasted fennel seeds was a nice touch as well. Garlic Naan was warm, fresh and had a semi crispy exterior followed by a fluffy airy interior. It was lightly brushed with what seemed like a melted garlic/butter oil and topped with chopped cilantro. I also ordered a chai tea (not pictured). Absolutely delicious. With main chain restaurants you get the chai tea that is made in bulk meaning it will sit there all day and burn itself, making for a biter tasting tea. This was a fresh cup.. made one at a time. The boiling of the black tea in the milk, water, herbs and spices does take a bit of time, so be patient. You won't be disappointed. Nasir (who we later found out was the owner/chef) took time to speak with us about his culture, years of culinary experimentation and love of creating fresh and amazing dishes. We will 100% absolutely come back and explore more of the freshness.

Chicken Marsala with rice and naan bread

Decent food horrible service Server said it would be 10 minutes ended up being 30 and having to waiting outside. Most Indian food restaurants I to go to give you the rice with the entrée however they make you pay for it here. The chicken Marsala had good flavor but very little chicken. Naan bread was very soggy and almost rubbery.

Chicken Tikka Masala and Plain White Rice

Listen, I love the tikka masala but it is very greasy. The naan is hit or miss... sometimes they burn it. The reason for the one star... I've now seen roaches in the restaurant on two different occasions. The only reason I went back after seeing the first roach was because it was heading out the front door LOL I was like... maybe it got lost and ended up in here by accident. But today, I went to get my to-go order and there was a roach crawling on the front counter. Very disappointed because I do not hate the food. I will have to find a new spot, because cleanliness is not something I can compromise on. I highly recommend you check your food for bugs.

I ordered lunch from here via Grubhub and was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered the aloo samosa and chicken tikka masala. I called them because I wanted to make sure they would add spice since that wasn't an option on the app. The person on the phone told me that the aloo samosa was out but they could sub for 6 mini samosas. I told them that's fine but I wanted 8 because the 8 piece was the same price as the aloo samosa that I ordered. He argued with me and said that they weren't the same and that it was a 50 cent difference. And I said whatever I'll pay the difference and he said that he couldn't charge me it over the phone. And do you know what I got?? Only 6 minis. Not only did I not get what I wanted but they short changed me and were also quite rude on the phone. In addition the chicken tikka masala had a couple of cubes of chicken. One of the worst I've ever had. Overly greasy, too sweet, and no spice at all. Garlic naan was also meh. Would not recommend

We loved Larosh Grill. This place is an amazing hidden gem! The Tiki Marsala was so good! I loved dipping the naan bread in it! The garlic naan bread was so good we went back for seconds. The Nihari was also incredible! It is a spicy beef curry with an amazing flavor. It had just the right amount of spice!

I live just down the road from this place, but I've never once ordered from here before. Big mistake. This place is absolutely delicious. My partner and I both got the chicken tikka masala and the sauce was absolutely wonderful. I do wish it was spicy. I kind of wish they had the option to make it extra extra spicy. We also got their plain rice with our meals and it was amazing. They cooked the rice with whole cumin seeds, and bay leaves. Which gave the rice a delicious aroma. I got an extra side of chutney and it was so good. I love chutney. My partner has never had it till now and when I looked away he stole both of them. I can't wait to come down here to dine in. I'm absolutely stuffed and have leftovers for tonight.

We had originally planned on trying out their buffet, but we showed up a bit too late where there were only bits of food left, and they weren't planning on refilling the buffet, so, we decided to stay anyway and to order off the menu..... and we're all glad we did! The interior is very spacious, casual, and clean.... and having shown up so late, there was no crowd, the place was peaceful and calm, and a great time for us to enjoy our meal.. with very good service focused only on us. I'm typically not familiar with Nepalese food, but perusing the menu, the dishes offered looked almost exactly like a typical Indian restaurant's menu, except there were some additional hybrid Indian/Chinese dishes, like the Momo dumplings that are typical and popular dish familiar to this Nepali region. Fortunately, there were four of us dining in and we were able to order a variety of dishes that sounded really yummy..... like the Steamed Chicken Momos (dumplings), Gobi Manchurian (fried cauliflower coated in a spicy sweet sauce), Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Curry, Lamb Curry, Saag Paneer, Lachna Paratha, and Garlic Naan. How was the food? I don't eat lamb or goat so I can't comment, but the others in the group mentioned the meat was a bit tough, but the curries tasted excellent. As for everything else, I did get to try it all, and everything was so hot, fresh, and prepared just perfectly.... so yummy delicious! Not too sweet, not to salty, and just a great balance of flavors and textures. My all time favorite Indian dish being the saag paneer....pureed spinach with cubes of goat cheese....yummeee! And went great with the breads fresh out of the oven..... very happy and satisfied! This place was a great find as we all enjoyed the food here very much. Service was very good, and with a very nice, casual, and pleasant ambiance. We don't visit here very often since we're from our of town, but if we do visit again, we'll definitely be back again.

And constantly searching for a good Samosa ( that's why they got three stars, but we'll get back to that part) My order consisted of Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan (rice or naan are a separate order item) and one order of Samosas (good call on my part) The naan was very tough and quite chewy which was a great disappointment, but the bigger disappointment was the Butter Chicken. The very first piece was pure gristle and honestly it tasted more like Chicken Boti. I tried several more bites to make sure it wasn't just a one off.... It wasn't sadly. Now the reason for the three stars the Samosas..... Big, Giant, puffs of heaven! You may not be able to tell from the pic (be happy y'all got one cause as anyone who reads my food reviews know, I rarely get food pics cause I'm digging in before the server has gotten their hand completely out of the way, usually) these Samosas took up my whole palm! This food truck serves up dishes that are not only delicious but thoughtfully prepared with attention to flavor, spice, and tradition. Here's what we tried: Mango Lassi: Silky smooth with a perfect balance of sweet mango and tart yogurt. It was so refreshing I couldn't decide whether to savor it slowly or chug it all in one go. Generous portion and thoughtful packaging, too. Butter Chicken: Absolutely stellar. The rich, deep brownish-red gravy was fragrant and beautifully spiced. Each bite transported me back to flavors I experienced during my trip to India. The chicken was tender and full of flavor. This is the kind of dish you dream about! Goat Biryani: A standout! The spices were layered and fragrant, the goat was tender and cooked perfectly. Eating it traditionally with my hands left the lovely lingering aroma of garam masala, a small joy for anyone who appreciates authentic South Asian cuisine. (Note: as with traditional biryani, bones are included!) Schezwan Chicken Lollipop: What a surprise! Ultra-crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned with the perfect level of heat and complexity. These six flavorful lollipops are great on their own or as an appetizer. Even my husband, who's typically not a fan of sauces, loved them! Jeera Rice: Nutty, earthy, and buttery! This rice was a beautiful complement to the butter chicken. The aromatics alone were divine and elevated the whole meal. Naan: Soft, pillowy, and warm. Two large pieces were more than enough for three of us to share. Perfect for scooping up biryani or sopping up extra gravy. If you're not one to eat rice by hand, this naan is your best friend. Ragda Patties (Minus the Patties): While the patties were missing, I didn't miss them one bit. The dish was still so flavorful and tender. It would have paired nicely with dosa the next morning, making for an ideal breakfast! Everything was wonderfully spiced, tender, and aromatic. Portions were generous, prices were fair, and we had plenty left for the next day. (Pro tip: the biryani tastes amazing even cold!) Alief Kitchen has mastered the art of Indo-Pak street food with heart, tradition, and serious flavor. This food truck is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates bold spices, authentic recipes, a genuine love of good food, and kind people with amazing service! Note: good, fresh food takes time! I'll say that was what my wife wanted, but truthfully, I wanted to hit the buffet myself. That said, the food was flavorful overall, and the cuts of meat were better than I expected for delivery. We definitely over-ordered and tried a little bit of everything, so there will be a ton of leftovers. The butter chicken was my biggest disappointment. I ordered it extra hot, but it came out about as spicy as the medium items we ordered. The chicken biryani was a little salty, but not inedible. Honestly, I would rather it be slightly over-seasoned than under-seasoned. My wife loved her food. My daughter was not as impressed and felt her meal was average. I was somewhere in the middle. The one pricing miss for me was the side of white rice. At over $4, that feels like highway robbery for a basic side of rice. To be fair, I only ordered it because I wasn't sure what came with rice and wanted to have extra in case someone needed some. Everything else felt pretty much in line with market pricing, especially given the portion sizes and the quality of the meat. My score: 3.5/5 My wife's score: 4/5 My daughter's score: 2.9/5 Overall, call it a solid 3.5 to 4, depending on what you order. Good flavor, generous portions, and plenty of leftovers.
