    Yum yum, gimme some!
    Nicole L.

Drove past this place one day and it looked so secluded and like a hole in the wall so I wanted to check it out. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted and asked how we prefer our spice level. When I said No heat or very mild, he started to suggest certain dishes. Needless to say, as someone who doesn't enjoy spicy foods, I got nervous! The owner/server (?) was so helpful in discussing how they could adjust the heat level to my taste. I ordered the beef chapli knowing that it would have a kick, but I just really wanted to try it. Great flavor but definitely utilized the delicious yogurt and fluffy naan to enjoy it more. Both beef and chicken kabab were so tender it was amazing. Even though they only had regular naan, it was probably some of the best I've had. The tikka masala had a little different flavor, but was very enjoyable. Definitely a hidden gem!

This was our first time eating at this restaurant Food was DELICIOUS!! Thank you Khan BBQ

If you like spicy food this is the place for you. My prefer spice level is mild, not much more than that lol The food was super flavorful and it hit the spice craving of the day. The beef chapli kebab had more of a kick than I would like but eating that with the Nan and yogurt toned it down. The chicken tikka masala was great and the nan was super fresh. The host was very friendly and explained the menu since we knew a lot of it would be spicy. Overall the food was really good and topped it all off with the mango lassi, I could drink 5 gallons of it. Delicious! ... It's more of a take out place but you can still dine in if you don't care about the ambiance.

Butter chicken, tikka masala, and Nihari

Loved this place! I was craving some Indian food, but I wanted a place near cypress, and this place did not disappoint. First, service was great! The owner was very welcoming and friendly. I ordered takeout, but inside the restaurant is nothing fancy, just simple booth seats. I got tikka masala, butter chicken, Nihari, and Chicken Biryani! Butter chicken and masala were normal, but the nihari and chicken biryani were too class! Definitely recommend! And the prices are very affordable!

2nd trip for Indian/Pakistani food. The food was just as good as the 1st time nine months ago. We would have gone sooner, but travel and school got in the way. My daughter ordered paneer masala, and my wife and I added beef chapli kebab, chicken biryani, four naan, and two rice puddings. We ordered by phone and went to pick it up. Everything was ready 1/2 hour after our call and piping hot after we got back home and delicious. This time I made sure to get photos before we dug in. If you like Indian/Pakistani food locally and family business, this is the place to get authentic, homemade style, full of flavor food.

My family orders from Khan's almost a monthly basis - a large order - and they always have the food ready on time and it's still piping hot when you arrive home. We're talking: half trays of haleem, chicken karahi, chicken biryani, saag paneer, naan, and paratha usually round out the order... it can feed 15-20+ people. The order is correct, too! Food is on the spicy side, even for my family; you can ask if they can make it less spicy, but it's oftentimes still hot for some members of the fam. The family that owns and runs this restaurant are really good people and provide great service. They'll help you load up your car. And they seem to know a lot of their customers. Right now, due to the pandemic, this restaurant is offering takeout only. It's best to call in your order ahead of time.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time. We had the Goat Karahi and Chicken Pulao. The portions are incredible. The employees were very friendly and chatted with us as we waited on our food. We felt very welcome here. The naan is spectacular. Food amazing. Highly recommend; we will definitely be back soon!!!

Khan BBQ and grill is located right down the street from me and they are a good fix for dinner if I have nothing cooked in the house. One of their specialty that they are known for is the Chapli Kabob. I usually order this item as it cannot be replicated for home cooking. It is a nice portion of ground beef mixed with specific spices and seasoning and the end result is a nice flattened patty bursting with flavor and chopped up onions with lemon. Another item that I got which is also very popular is the chicken biryani. While it is spicy, they do have enough meat in the dish making it a fair meat to rice ratio. The serving is a pretty good size also. They also serve yogurt with rice and that can help reduce the flaming tingling from the spices. Hands-down, they have the best naan in the city. Always order one. It is so delicious, warm and tender. I did notice that they require a $10 purchase for using a credit card and that if paying by cash, then there is a sales tax discount.

Read reviews n went to try out their food. I was there as soon as they opened for the day. Ordered nihari, kadhai gosht, beef Haleem, naam, Lassi n chai. My entire order was on the table within 15 minutes, including the to go to order. Everything was perfect to the "T" - the good as well as their customer service. Definitely coming here whenever I visit Houston again.

    Spicy chicken rice!

I found this little gem a while back and have been wanting to try it out after seeing all of the positive reviews. This place is literally right down the street and around the corner and I have never been here! If you want to go to a fancy Indian restaurant this is not your place. They give you paper plates and plastic forks when you dine in. HOWEVER.. While it may not be the fanciest... The food that is served is spot on! (with affordable prices) **One of the 1st things I noticed-people ordering take out here.(Good sign) Right when you walk in you can smell all of the different fresh Indian spices coming from the kitchen. One of the managers served us a free mango smoothie while we waited for our food to come out fresh.. super tasty and everyone was very nice. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and my dad ordered the curry with goat. We also ordered a side of their chicken rice.. SPICY! Since my mom doesn't deal well with spicy she ordered the chicken kabob plate. Chicken tikka Masala had an amazing flavor. Although I noticed how greasy the plate was from the masala sauce.. You can't take away how the flavors were intense and spicy! My dad LOVED his dish. Unfortunately my mom thought the chicken kabob was super dry.. I tasted the chicken and it wasn't the best chicken. Overall I would definitely come back to pick up a plate food on the run! Very affordable! ***4 stars for flavor, price and customer service!!

Restaurant is pretty spacious and bigger than I thought. Probably would never have to wait long for a table. My husband got the briyani; tasted pretty good but there was not that much meat. I believe I got the Murgh Bihari Boti and it was a pretty big portion. We also got some naan bread. It took me this long to go because I kept looking at their prices and couldn't justify, but don't be like me and let it scare you away. The portions are definitely more than enough for 2. They are not stingy with their portion size. Looks like their weekday lunch prices are pretty decent so I'm going to have to go back for that for sure. Pretty much everything we had was great. I will say next time I want to try a more traditional tomato based Karahi. Family size Naan was $10 it's probably like 3 regular naan super fluffy not dense so it's easy to eat. Chole was perfect great flavor all around chickpeas were soft. Mango lassi was good but I think it was too heavy for me so I may pass on it next time and leave more room for food. Not sure what kind of fish they use for the lahori fish but the flavors were great, I feel like it should come with fries and I wish it was another type of fish but otherwise on point. The Karahi was chicken breast, really good flavor if you are introducing someone to Pakistani food,it's cream based so it's milder but still has great flavor. My bill was around $87 and I definitely had leftovers. I suggest not going alone if you are getting off the regular menu and not weekday lunch.
