I needed to get a tailliight, back bumper, and side panel fixed on my car. I had many concerns- being ripped off, having my car declared ""totaled" since it was older, the length of time to fix, etc. Daniel was referred to me by one of the companies I called that my insurance company recommended. He was extremely nice over the phone and very patient explaining all the options. I still felt nervous about leaving my car. My insecurity stemmed from the phone always going straight to voicemail. The first time he did return my call right away. I like communication and contact. Once my car was dropped off, communication improved and I learned e-mail was the best way to communicate- not phone or text. Daniel was able to get additional money to do the repair (every auto body shop said the insurance quote was low), not get it declared "totaled" and he fixed it in a timely manner. With the exception of the annoying phone always going to voicemail and then voicemail saying the mailbox is full, my experience was very positive and would be 5 star. Only docking a star over a weird incident with my remote key. He offered to change the battery. This turned out to be more expensive more of a freakish ordeal than I thought. And it somehow resulted in the steering wheel being locked and me losing another day getting my car. So I had to make 2 trips to get it. In summary- fabulous body work, honest guy who will work with you, and the work was top notch...but take your key to the dealer to change the battery.

All sorts of horrific things were likely to happen. But Tim's had enough recent experience with EVs to know with the 12V batteries (not the Lithium Ion 16V or higher in some news EVs) - it was likely to work just fine. He whipped up a quote based on experience, and gave me the peace of mind to say, "Hey if it doesn't work - we'll customize according to some of the specs you're seeing online". Great! So I dropped it off a few months ago, the install went swimmingly and as planned, and I've had it thumping the hell outta my car ever since with not a single complain from the car's battery management system. They lay it all out in front of you beforehand. My car went from a tired, old cruiser to a 100% street sleeper! He refused to provide me with a detail list of what he did and where he touched up areas so that I could have some of the car repainted. This guy is full of lies, continues to jack up the price, leaves you hanging saying he will come back to fix it. When asked why he didn't fix the dents, he said "That's more money!!". I'm currently seeking legal help to get my money back including damages costing over $6k due to the fact he voided the recall on my car. Kept all the text messages from him trying to tell me I owe more, then admitting he was wrong and that he would pay me back in installments.

He was very aggressive that he was doing me a favor. Unfortunately even after he was paid, the car was not fixed. Somehow the headlight and turn indicator where he had worked now did not function. Then the liner inside the wheel was not properly secured, so my wheel was grinding when I went over bumps or turned too far left. He agreed to fix those things only to stop responding to multiple messages and phone calls.
