I am very particular about my recommendations and the people that I hire for jobs. I will say that I've been blessed to use JR Mobile Auto Detailing. Not only did they text me back extremely quickly, they gave a fair price and spent over 5 hours cleaning my minivan. Now I don't use the van very often, but my parents and babysitters do and this thing had anything from smushed Play-Doh in the window to food everywhere including car seats to sunblock smeared all over the vehicle to the point where you could recognize it halfway down the road. It looks completely brand new after the job they did. And to top it the guy is extremely nice and his wife is a survivor and also so hard working with him. Honestly, I am AMAZED at what this mobile car detail company has done to our dog transport vehicle! Detailed exterior/interior car cleaning, buffing, removing dog fur and nose smudge! Highly recommend! Wish I took before pics! Got this as a birthday present for hubby's dog Jeep! He had 10 years of dog fur pasted into the cheap carpet. The nose smudges needed power washing because simple Windex was not gonna do it. Jose and his one team member spent 4-5 hours going over every single nook to clean. They never stopped working. long story short; They were able to do a deep clean to remove mold and mildew from a used convertible that hasn't been cleaned for a decade to a point the car almost looked unrecognizable. I would recommend this service to anybody short story long; I bought a convertible for a modest price wondering why it was selling for so cheap. Mechanically the car was in top notch shape so I figured I was able to just strike gold. I purchased the car and on my way back home driving it I soon realized why the seller was selling it for so cheap. There was a rancid smell in the car of mold and mildew. It was to a point where I could not even drive the car without feeling the risk that I was breathing in toxic air, even with the hood down. I closely inspected some of the upholstery and saw black mold growing on much of it. I really didn't think it was possible to be able to remove the level of mold that had been accumulating for who knows how long. All hope felt lost. Then comes our heroes. I looked for detailing in the Fairfax area and stumbled across JR Detailing. They had very reasonable prices so I messaged them and told them about my problem. A few minutes later I get a text message from JR saying they are going to come by to look at the car to give an estimate. He arrived in a white van likened to a knight in shining armor mounted on a white horse. He takes a look at the car and says it can be done and you are going to love the outcome. Feeling skeptical knowing how rancid and abundant the mold was I ask him if he was sure he could remove the mold. He then opens his van and shows me all the state of the art equipment that he has specifically to deep clean cars even to the point of mold and mildew. I ended up getting the full package of detailing the inside and outside. I also added the Odor bomb to make sure the rancid smell was completely incinerated. Boy, I do not regret any of this. A few days later when the weather was nice enough (they need nice weather since it's a mobile detailing service so they will be working outside) JR texts me to let me know he arrived to detail the car. The next 5 hours and a few mountain dews later, JR texts me and tells me the job is done. I honestly didn't expect much but then I laid eyes on my nearly unrecognizable convertible. It felt like I was watching a youtube clip of a feeble stray dog being taken in by a loving vet that was nursed back to health. The car looked immaculate. Every thing was cleaned...EVERYTHING. Every single nook and cranny was brushed up, waxed, and polished. The carpets were deep vacuumed with a solution to completely strip all of the decades of gunk. It honestly looked brand new. There's a couple spots you expect them to miss such as the gas cap, small edges that aren't very visible, even inside the hood. They were all taken care of. The best part was...THE MOLD WAS COMPLETELY GONE. The car smelled like...NOTHING. Just a little bit like leather as it should. I really couldn't believe it. It was $450 well spent. This included inside/outside detailing + odor bomb. Seeing how hard JR labored, $450 was a GREAT value and the results speak for themselves. #MillennialProblems I spilled a carafe of matcha latte and coffee in the back of my car, half-heartedly sopped it up and promptly forgot about it. I didn't really think much about it until two weeks later when we had an unseasonably hot winter day and realized that my car absolutely stank. I opened the back of my trunk to see mold had grown all over the trunk carpet. I was able to attack it using baking soda and a vinegar wash but the smell lingered. Many people in the Vienna Moms FB group had recommended JR Mobile Auto Detailing so I made an appointment through their FB page (they are also very responsive via text) and the next day JR showed up at my door, ready to go! My car is a decade old and has only been washed about three times. I'll vacuum it every once in a while to get goldfish crumbs (I have a three year old) out of the seat but other than that it's been badly neglected. I went with an exterior and interior wash and JR and his partner worked tirelessly on a winter day to clean everything up. Their entire setup is mobile so they were able to do everything in my driveway with no issue at all. They were friendly, speedy, informative and well-priced. The interior of my car looks (and smells) brand new! Stains were removed and all of the tiny dust particles that I could never get out of the air conditioning crevices were gone. I've always been too cheap/lazy to get my Honda Civic detailed but now that I've gotten it done this is definitely a service I would splurge on. JR mobile detailed my two cars twice now and they did such an amazing job on my two cars. Both cars(2016 Honda Civic and 2012 BWM) were looking amazing, super clean look and looking brand new. The BWM had been neglected for many months that it was a complete mess. After they were finished with it, it was spotless I could not believe how clean it was! I loved it! I hadn't washed my car in about 2 years and the back was pretty dusty after hauling around stone and cement for house projects. I requested a full interior and exterior detail along with headliner cleaning and headlight restoration since it's been so long since the last cleaning and it wasn't insanely expensive. The company was on time, told me I didn't need the headliner or headlight stuff since the ceiling was pretty clean and he'd buff the headlights anyways which saved a chunk of change. Then it started lightly raining and he couldn't do the whole exterior so he used a spray wax instead and cut the cost by $100. Incredibly honest company who did phenomenal work; the car looks better than it did when I bought it. I'll be having him out at least once a year from now on and ideally every six months-the result was that good.
