One of the last photos of our beloved girl. The absolute best to the end
Maggie V.

Huge thanks to Lap of Love and especially to Dr. Cristina Mollenkopf for their kind, compassionate, caring support in dealing with end-of-life decisions for our 12-year-old Husky. Lucy was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and she was deteriorating before our eyes without any hope of improvement all things considered. Knowing when to make the decision to help your pet leave you as peacefully and painlessly as possible is one of the most difficult things we've had to do. We contacted Lap of Love and they were so kind, patient, reassuring (no pressure) and helpful in sharing information, resources to visit to help us with our decision, and really there for us that we knew we would call them when the time came. That time came too soon but we knew it was the right decision. Dr. Cristina came to our home and was calm, professional, kind, and very loving and respectful of Lucy. We were a wreck but Lucy passed peacefully on her favorite bed, in her favorite spot on the deck hearing the birds and nature sounds around her. It was the best possible setting for such an emotional goodbye to our beloved girl. We chose to have Lucy cremated and her ashes returned to us via our vet's office. Dr. Cristina was prepared and made a pawprint with Lucy's name, clipped a lock of her fur, and took Lucy (a big dog) on a stretcher to her vehicle to transport her to the pet creamtory. All done with kindness, understanding, professionalism, and consideration. We HIGHLY recommend Lap of Love and Dr. Cristina if you find yourself in this very sad, difficult, stressful situation. It is the kindest decision you can make to help your beloved pet(s) avoid a lingering death of pain and suffering. Thank you, Lap of Love and Dr. Cristina for helping us through this sad and difficult time.

Oscar and Mayer last picture
Ninfa J.

We had the good fortune to have Mayer for 13 wonderful years. He was a sweet, smart and patient boy with lots of love to give. Unfortunately he got very sick rapidly and it was time to let him go. We wanted Mayer to be comfortable at home and we also wanted Oscar (Mayer's dad) to be present when it was time to say goodbye. The person that I talked to when making the appointment was so sweet and understanding and made it as easy as this hard moment could be. Dr. Klickman came the next day, she was very sweet and patient with us; she explained everything was going to happen and gave us time and space whenever we needed it to say goodbye. We are very thankful for how she treated Mayer... with so much love until the end.

Dr. Kelly is FANTASTIC. As hard of a time it always is to lose a pet, Dr. Kelly turned our entire experience into a comfortable & beautiful one. Our 6yo daughter insisted on being a part of it and Dr Kelly welcomed her and explained everything in a comforting way for all of us to understand. She was patient with us and seemed to really enjoy making these experiences heartfelt and special. I will be recommending LoL to all our pet-owning friends. Thank you Dr Kelly!

She had either large cell lymphoma or carcinoma (was inconclusive) but either way it was really bad at the end. Dr. Beth has the knowledge to help you understand what is happening, the compassion to guide you through it, and the kindness to come out to our place at some inconvenience to herself (last minute, outside regular hours, etc). I loved that she gave us special family time with our girl as we went through the steps of the at home euthanasia. I loved that she said some words of gratitude for her as she passed, almost like a mini memorial service. It was painful, it is painful, but I don't think I could have asked for a better person to lead us through an extremely difficult decision. I see sad photos of animals here. I choose to remember my kitty when she was at her happiest, and that's the photo I'm sharing here.

I found this to be a much better option! My dog feels much more comfortable because she is at home, and Dr. Anna, Kate and her vet tech, Javier, are both amazing. As I mentioned, I am disabled. I am visually impaired, so Dr. Anna, Kate and her vet tech took extra time to explain what they were doing in case I wasn't able to tell. They took extra time to tell me all of my different options to help my dog, who suffers from chronic allergies, and itches all the time. The cost of a checkup and the medication's are comparable to those of my local vet. The only additional charge is the travel fee. However, for me, it is definitely worth it because of the convenience. However, they also offer a program you can sign up for that helps to cover this cost. Dr. Anna Kate was kind enough to tell me a little about it during their visit today and I plan on looking into it. Dr. Anna, Kate, and Javier are both incredibly kind and compassionate and very professional. They answered all of my questions, and never once made me feel like they were rushing. They took their time with my dog, and we're very loving with her. I highly recommend this mobile vet service. You will not find two more compassionate and amazing people than Dr. Anna Kate and Javier! (I tried to take a selfie with them, but did not realize my phone was on portrait mode. So they appear kind of blurry. Blind girl problems!)
