They told me they could not see her right away but recommended I take her to an urgent care. I was surprised, because isn't that the reason you have a relationship in the first place, for when there's an emergency, to get her seen? It turns out she was diagnosed with diabetes and then had to go to another place for an overnight at the Cat hospital. I was told she should be seen by her regular vet for follow up. Everhart was unable to give me a follow up appointment other than having come in all day and stay in a crate to be seen. I did that, which severely traumatized her.It also made her blood sugar, skyrocket, which is exactly the condition I was coming into have get better, not worse. A few weeks later, she developed breathing problems. I again called Everhart during normal business hours explained the situation and was told I could not bring her in. They said "we are closing soon", even though I live five minutes away and they were still open for another hour. They told me repeatedly how shortstaffed they were because one vet was out on maternity leave and another was on her honeymoon. I'm sorry, this is a staffing issue that was completely foreseen and should have been planned for in advance. I ended up taking her to the emergency room, had an absolutely traumatizing five hours there. One of the questions was what is her regular vet and when I told them it was Everhart, they said "oh yeah, we've been getting a lot of their people here." Long story short, my cat was so traumatized by that experience, and I was so discouraged by the complete lack of access to non-traumatizing medical care (which should have been provided by her regular vet, with whom I had a relationship going back to 2017), that I made the difficult decision to have her put down at home. she died in my arms. Everhart failed me in the most important three weeks of my cat's life. Don't let them fail you and your cat. Go elsewhere.

They are usually very busy so be prepared for that but it's worth it. They have at least 2-3 front desk personnel that know their job and know your pet. The longest that I have ever had to wait is 5 minutes. They kindly and quickly greet you, get you checked in, and let the vet tech know that you are there. Then, off to get weighed and back to the room. It's very clean too. The vet, Dr. Steinberg was amazing! He took his time with my little girl and made sure that I understood next steps and reassured me that I could call anytime with questions. Jasmine and Michelle and wonderful too! The care I received was subpar. Dr. Buchanan was not available I had an urgent situation. I saw Dr. Oliver. She recommended an unnecessary x-ray for my dog when you could clearly that he had no problems walking. initially I was upset that there may have been an issue but as the day went on by the time my appointment my dog was running and was fine apparently his leg was bruised however she ordered it anyway Ching Ching and of course nothing was wrong. upsetting part was that she ordered it before she even saw my dog! When she came into the room to tell me that nothing wrong she was telling me how to pick him up? How to handle him? what. when checking out she ordered two prescriptions for pain. My dog was not in pain! And I didn't request it. So basically I took my dog in for nothing and it cost $353. When I called the next day to file complaint I was blocked by the receptionist Dawn Sunstorm who made it very clear that she was in charge she was the supervisor and the complaint had to go through her. When I told her I would like the email of the owner she was very hesitant very defensive and became very angry and argumentative simply because I did not want to disclose my complaint with her. I told her that I did not want to take the chance that she would share it with a person I had to complaint with and nothing would be done. I imagine this is what caused her to get irate . I kept my composure but she interrupted me would not let me speak and then hung up on me. Either way I was the person that was upset and she could care less as a matter of fact the second time I called she had me on hold for quite some time obviously she knew it was me. And when she got on the phone without even saying hello and without me saying a word said that she didn't like my attitude and that she is banning me from coming back canceled me out of the system and said she had my email and would email the records! Still hadn't said a word at this point. She continued to say that she has the authority to do what she wants to do. This is outrageous to me and I can't imagine that someone would treat someone that way when they're the ones that pay her paycheck check. I'm glad to know that they do not need me as a client. I've spent thousands of dollars there and I've been with them for quite some time. Thank God there are plenty of Vets out there but I will miss Dr. Buchanan. I drove 2 1/2 hours to make that appointment. Absolutely zero respect. because she's been there for years her arrogance and her controlling nature appears to be overlooked!

They kept my dog for a few hours and sadly she passed away early Sunday morning around 4am, less than 12 hours she was see by Banfield. I understand these things can happen, however the worse and most disgusting part is that on this past Wednesday when I spoke to them to cancel some upcoming appointments my dog had for a dental surgery I informed them that she had past away this weekend. They then demanded I pay the rest of my plan through the end of the year. Charged me over $700 days after my dog passed away after being told by them she was fine. I've never been treated so callously by a company and was shown zero empathy or grace. I would never recommend anyone take their pets here for care.

I complained over and over and Dr. Stiehle was promoted to director and assured me things would change. Things got a little better and then mote neglect for my dog. I was adopting a rescue kitten and the office screwed all the information up and I almost lost the adoption. I contacted Dr. Stiehle about the situation with no response and that's how little she really cares al9ng with the rest of the office. I fired them and got records and saw the new vet who reports Presias vaccines were out of date when I was at Lakeshore 3 weeks ago. I spent over $2,000's to treat an ear infection with resilient bacteria and it's most probable my dog has an allergy and doing allergy testing to resolve things with the new vet. My dog also has cracking in the corners of her mouth that should have been treated and the problem is blatantly obvious. Dr. Stiehle said Presia needed to lose weight to 85 pounds and we put her on a diet and they starved my dog who dropped to 75 pounds which is total neglect of my dog. Presia gets weighed every time she goes to the vet and was seen 3 weeks ago and they should have alerted me to her drastic weight loss and increased her food intake. If you love you pet/pets the way I do switch vets to get the care they need. I worked with the director for 18 months and was promised positive changes which never occurred and they broke my trust over and over again. I contacted Dr. Stiehle about current issues by text and email and waited 10 days with no response which means she does not care about the pets she treats. The front desk is disorganized, neglectful and at times very rude. I am sad that the practice has fallen apart and they treated my dog for 5 years and got great services. I switched vets and Presia and my new kitten are getting excellent care now and m relieved my pets will be well taken care of. Here are my pets happy and healthy with their new Vet!

On Saturdays they open at 9:30, I arrived maybe 10:45ish and I was number 43 when I signed in. That's not too horrible but the wait time was byyyy farrrr the longest wait time I have ever experienced. At first I was a bit confused why the wait time was so long and the front receptionist said the wait would probably be about 2 hours after I signed in and they would call. Since I lived about 30ish minutes away I decided to wait with my pup inside my car (big big mistake he was so antsy after 20 minutes). Nonetheless I finally got called inside to get seen by approximately 3ish. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes and then I was seen. Once inside the exam room everything was pretty much smooth sailing. The vet nurse/tech explained the everything and did not hesitate to answer questions, she was very thorough and was easy to talk to. She overlooked my documents, and when the vet doctor came in he then overlooked my documents as well. They gave their recommendations and sent me on my way. All in all the actual visit was probably less than 30 minutes but the wait time was WILD. I will definitely be returning and making sure I get there EARLY if I go on a Saturday. In my most recent visit, I walked into the clinic (as they don't take appointments) thirty minutes after they opened and my puppy was the 35th on the waitlist. They have a very simple process where you walk-in, complete an intake form if your pet is new, and sign in with your contact information. You then wait in the car until one of the office assistants calls you to tell you to bring your pet in. From there, you'll likely wait another 15-20 minutes before your pet is seen. On Saturday, I waited for three hours before I was seen. The vet and vet tech were professional and kind, and I appreciated the assistants at the front desk. The wait was annoying, but this clinic is a lot more affordable than going to the vet or even Petco. I would recommend if and only if you can go when they're open on a weekday.

I left a voicemail with my name, information and had little hope that I'd receive a call back at all. Lo and behold, less than an hour later the office called me back and encouraged me to come in, they'd squeeze me in between appointments. I was so grateful that my pupper would be seen! We hurried over and he was taken back, assessed and the vet (Dr. Schmidt) came out to explain his initial thoughts, treatment plan and anticipated costs before proceeding. I was prepared to simply be handed a bill after the visit, so I thought the fact that he provided a detailed estimate was really fantastic. I agreed to all (and was fully expecting to be asked to pay much more than the quote). The front desk staff (Diana, sp?), the vet techs, everyone was as kind and helpful as can be to us. I wish I remembered everyone's name for appropriate kudos.
