I had seen Randie's Garage on Chamblee Tucker Road for years because they are practically in my back yard. I decided to give them a try when my Acura's clutch started to fail. I dropped the car off in their night lot, and the next morning I got a courteous and friendly call from the owner himself. You are not a number here. The quoted price for a new clutch plus installation was reasonable and seemed like a fair deal...especially compared to dealer pricing. I often say that you can tell more about a business when things go wrong, because people's true colors come to the surface. This story has a happy ending, but it started out with a unforeseen problem. I picked the car up on a Friday and to make a long story short, the master clutch cylinder died over the weekend making the car inoperable. That item was not what was quoted on or replaced with the clutch, but is related. Why would I still give Randie's 5 stars? Because, Randie warranties his work and is incredibly honest. When I called him Monday morning he listened to what I had to say, and I was not too happy at the time. He then promised that the issue would be fixed... without costing me a dime more. He was personally interested in making this right because his name is on the sign and he takes pride in what he does. The solution included a tow to the garage and a brand new master clutch cylinder. True to his word, I did not pay a cent more, and the car drives great. Try to find another garage that stands behind their work like this... Good luck. I am now a repeat customer who feels like he is treated with respect, appreciation, and fairness. It is extremely rare to find these qualities in auto shop. So, I bought the tires and showed up with them and my trailer. From this point on everything that went wrong, was my fault. Mostly I bought the wrong size. It wasn't clear how wrong they were until they tried to mount them. In the end, I couldn't get my tires mounted, but I came away knowing I would come back. They were honest, straight forward, helpful, patient and at no point were they trying to upsell me anything. It's not fancy, but if you want someplace with fair prices and that is trustworthy- this is it!

I brought them a two page readout from an express oil change place I'd used just for my oil change. The guys at Almost Auto Service were kind enough to check out my car for any routine maintenance and repairs as well as walk me through why the recommended services from the express place were largely made up to drive up the bill. In the end, all I needed was a new air filter. Can't recommend them enough for the honest, friendly, and quick service.

I called right when they opened and they were able to take me in right away! I received a phone call a little over and hour later from the mechanic informing me that I had an issue with my belt. The mechanic said the belt was structurally intact and looked new but was responsible for the sound. He said he sprayed it with WD 40 which eliminated the sound but informed me it would come back eventually. He told me I could replace the belt to eliminate the sound permanently or I could pass on replacing the belt as it was still functioning properly and brand new. Definitely a mechanic I will be back to visit as I know they are not trying to stick me with random charges for parts I don't need.

Never a complaint, never questioned the pricing and the work was always done in a timely, professional manner. In December of 2022 I returned for a front end alignment and when dropping off the vehicle I asked where Shad was and was told he was out. Well he was indeed out. He had sold the business to a new crew and I should have figured that out when it took three weeks to get my car back. When I did get my car back, the leather wrapped steering wheel was filthy with grease as was the drivers seat and armrest. And they had managed to burn up three quarters of a tank of fuel leaving my fuel light on when I drove away. Insult to injury they had not even done the alignment. They also managed to not do several hundred more dollars of work that I was charged for. Forget all the positive reviews which are regarding the work done by the wonderful previous owners. This robbing crew needs to be avoided. I can't fathom how some people can be so dishonest.
