BEWARE! I've been a customer for years and had historically been very satisfied. Recently however,…read moreI have lost trust in them. Some things were small, committing a turn around time on vehicle and then once they had my car, learning there was a significant delay because they did not in fact have the parts they need. Most recently, I went in for a routine oil change. They called to say my car really needed new break pads and strut replacement, for a total charge of $4,000. I decided to take it to a new local (5 Star Rated) service station. They took their time showing me under the car, why I needed none of that suggested work. I have officially moved my business.

Poor experience -- costly repair did not resolve the problem…read moreI brought my vehicle to this shop based on a friend's recommendation because it was overheating. Before they began the work, I explained the issue in detail, provided the diagnostic trouble codes, and shared what I believed was the needed repair based on the information I had. Unfortunately, the repair performed was not what I requested or what I understood to be necessary to address the overheating issue. Instead, the shop recommended and completed a more expensive repair. After they had my vehicle for at least a week, I was told that the vehicle would be completed on a certain day. I spoke with the owner, he told me to come in. I came in, and my vehicle remained on the lift with the body closed up as if it were finished for approximately two hours while the mechanics appeared to be sitting in the work area talking rather than actively working on it. They then started packing up to leave and asked me to return the next day. I did not even have a ride home. In my opinion, the repair could have been completed as promised if the work had been actively performed during that time. What also made me uncomfortable was being asked by the receptionist to leave a tip for the mechanics before my vehicle had even been repaired or returned to me. After the repair was completed, I paid approximately $1,000. Within three days, the same overheating problem returned. From my experience, the original issue was not repaired, and I was not offered a refund for the work that did not resolve the problem. I understand that vehicle repairs can sometimes involve additional diagnosis and unexpected issues. However, I expected clear communication, efficient work, an accurate repair, and accountability when the same issue returned almost immediately. Oh, and when I got my vehicle back, my battery charger was busted, as if someone took a wrench to it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

They then had the nerve to try to charge me an $85 "convenience fee" for swiping my DEBIT card! When I refused to pay that, he suggested I WALK (in the rain!) down the street to the bank! So me, a cancer patient, walked in the rain to the closest ATM - just to find out I couldn't withdraw that amount from an ATM! I walked back, and asked can't you just remove the convenience fee?! This is a debit card, not credit! He said no! My son in law had to leave work and bring me the cash! When I got home, I searched the parts cost for the year/model car I have... guess what? When does it take 10 days for a simple repair to be done and cost you almost $3,000 for a starter…read moreand Battery repair? When you take it to right Auto Works in Loganville. My Mercedes-Benz S560 was towed to write Automotive and for 3 days no work was done because someone copied down the wrong number. When they finally got the number corrected it still took an additional seven days to get the repair done on my car. My car is a 2015 Mercedes S560 and for a starter to be replaced in a new battery it cost me $2,517! I had to call numerous times just to see if they had even started my vehicle? At the point I physically went up to the shop and told them either they get it fixed today or put it back together and I will take it elsewhere the repairs miraculously got done. When I went to finally pick up my vehicle and asked the service technician why a battery / starter repair costed $2,500 I was told because original OSM parts were placed on the and that is why the price was so high. After picking up my vehicle and thinking about it I began to get more and more upset at the apparent price gouging. I took the invoice that shows no detail totals to two automotive shops in both agreed that my repairs were very expensive for my particular vehicle. I called the shop back and asked could I speak to the shop manager so that we could discuss this issue. She did agree to meet with me and when I did she really had poor excuses as to why a repair that should have cost me around $1,200 Max ended up costing me $2,500? She even went so far as to show me the price of the part which was around $560 yet the price she charged me was $1200! How is that ethical or fair? Then she proceeded to tell me that had to repair has been done without the use of my extended warranty company it could have possibly have been cheaper? I asked her why didn't the technician tell me that and she said perhaps he didn't know or was not trained correctly? After going back and forth with poor excuses she saw my disbelief of her overcharging me almost $1,200 and had the nerve to offer me a free oil change. I own six vehicles and right Auto Works has lost the potential to service all of my vehicles for years in the future. I completely understand that this is a business providing a service but the treat your customers like this and to price gouge as I felt I have been a victim of it's just wrong. If I were you I would if I were you I would take your vehicle elsewhere to get repairs to a business that will be transparent with details and cost.
