Recently (10/30/25), I took my car to get a routine oil change at a recommended place. Well, fast forward that visit caused my engine (so I was told by Walter- owner of Lanza)! He told me that my Turbo/engine was ruined and I would need to replace. I decided to replace after a few months undecided what to do. Walter found me a rebuilt engine, told me it had 80k miles, assured me he would replace any parts need with new parts, told me my car would be running like new. Fast forward, Gave him $2,800 for the engine replacement. Took a week to be delivered. Once received he tells me that engine was good. He has to get another one. Received another one (so he say) he tells me it would only take a few days to put in my car , however it took a a couple of months! in between all this time, I was not offered a loaner so I had to rent cars. In between this time he was not communicating with me! Every time I called to see what was going on my car I was told' Tamara- can I call you back in a hour' no call back....or no answer at all! No reply back! Now, you have my car and my money. I had to go up to the shop a few times and saw my car not completed but was assured it would be done that week. That did not happen. Fast forward, I got my car back last week- now my POWER STEERING is out! Didn't have this problem before! I will NEVER go back for service here! Makes me wonder the years I've been taking my car to this place- if they messed up my engine! Bad business! I don't have money to play with! This situation cost me ALOT of money and my car still isn't running right! This is a SCAM all the way around! BEWARE!

The mechanic seemed nice when I got there but I was to find out that my car was HIT (fender bender in the back) while being there for 3 days. When I got home, I realized it was also hit in the front. Several weeks ago I came in for an oil change and knew their was a problem with my exhaust system. Jay showed me the exhaust problem (corrosion and rust) and told me that he didn't do that kind of work and I needed to go to a muffler/exhaust place. Jay was thorough and efficient. The reason is because no-one is as honest, humble or as kind as Jay is. You can drop off your car which is very convenient. Jay diagnosed mine and explained everything in plain English without being patronizing. He's very responsive to messages, gave an honest assessment and didn't try to overcharge or upsell me.
