The restaurant is spacious and has a variety of seating options, and was decorated nicely for the holiday season. We got to choose our booth, as it wasn't too busy, and we absolutely loved the service. Our server, Olivia, could not have been better - she was attentive but didn't stop by too often, knew what we needed before we even asked, and made our evening memorable. I ordered a creamy espresso martini which was so bomb. To eat, I had a side caesar (fantastic and perfect size) and the cast iron mac n cheese, which I liked but didn't love. It was a little liquidy for my taste and could've used a bit more flavor, but I enjoyed the crunchiness of the Ritz cracker topping. My boyfriend had the bbq steak tips, and to our delight, they were offering an all-you-can-eat steak tip deal, so he got an additional plate of tips to go for only ~$20 total. Needless to say he was a happy man lol. Final note is that we were obsessed with the playlist and the fact they had a pillow-fighting competition airing on the TV. Super entertaining. We will 100% be making Millers Tavern a new go-to spot!

Yummy selection on the menu from steak tips to lobster rolls. Basically something for all. I chose the lobster shrimp roll and Onion rings. It was so good. Drink selection was amazing. They have some great IPAs that I chose. Come check this place out. Great spot for Methuen.

The sushi menu was larger than I expected and the two rolls we ordered were delicious. The sizing of the sushi wasn't very consistent, but it had good flavor. The steak tips were cooked well. The garlic mashed potatoes didn't taste very garlicky to me, but it was okay.

Hubby and I ordered some drinks, my cider was really good. Forgot the brand, but it was mango something. He had the stake tips, and they looked good , cooked perfectly. Medium rare. We also had the pork gyoza and they were tasty. Now, here comes the issue. The menu is very international, from American fare to Asian cuisine (sushi). I decided to order their queso birria tacos (quesadilla). Now, I am very familiar with this dish and the original version. I did not think they would not know what or how to make it. When I got the plate it looked okay, but it wasn't like the real Version (corn tortilla fried in the fat skimmed from the broth. The beef was good, and overall it was okay. But, u would never get that again. I would just stick to the regular food, like Fish and chips which was my second option. Overall it was good. I just know better when I visit again.

One of my friends was more familiar with the area and recommended we come here. She ordered a plate of fried pork with tostones, some guisado de res, and white rice. The total was around $20 which was fair for the portion sizes. The guisado was a bit oily but the flavor was really good and the meat was very tender. Since the tostones did not come with a sauce, we ended up dunking them in the guisado. The tostones were on the thicker side but crispy and tasty. The fried pork was good, although maybe a little bland. The lime helped a little bit with bringing out the flavor. The white rice was good. They offer a small, medium, and large portion - small was good as a snack for 3 people. I would come back and try more of their menu items. They have a parking lot, but it was packed and the snow didn't help. There is also street parking. It is in a lively part of town, so I enjoyed people watching while eating in the car.

There's a large dining/ bar area and a takeout side with a few tables. We ordered the sancocho and rabo guisado (Oxtails), with white rice and plantains. The sancocho was pretty good. It had a lot of meat and vegetables, the white rice was perfectly cooked. I thought the sancocho had a bit too much garlic in the seasoning, but it was still great, especially since it was rainy and a bit chilly. The Oxtails were simply amazing! They were extremely tender and practically falling off the bone. The sauce was seasoned perfectly and paired well with the white rice. I've never had Oxtails this good at a restaurant. They tasted just like when mom recipe takes hours and hours to make since you want to cook it long enough for the meat to become tender. The service was very friendly and attentive, the food came pretty quickly. Prices were very reasonable. If I'm back in the area, I will definitely return and order the Oxtails.
