We go there for all our dry cleaning so it is fabulous always get great service plus getting the 20% off coupon is a extra bonus

The young ladies working at the front desk are great, so this is no way a review for them. I am writing this for the managers Sue and Sandy who are rude and horrible! They have no sense of the meaning of customer service. We had dropped off the dry cleaning on Saturday and they assured it would be ready by Monday 5pm, as we are moving out of state and were planning to leave Tuesday 4am. Additionally, during drop off we had forgotten the 20% coupon, and I had called them about it and they said no problem, we will honor it. I went to pick up the clothes Monday around 6pm, and was told the clothes are not ready and wouldn't be ready until Wednesday after 5pm! I mentioned we were told they would be ready by Monday as we are moving out of state Tuesday. The girls at the desk were trying their best to help us out and called the managers (who are off site) and they said the earliest they would be able to get us our dry cleaning was Tuesday morning at 7:30am. We said we would push back our departure time despite us now hitting more traffic with our move. We came back Tuesday at 8:30am, and all the clothes were still not ready!!!! They gave us whatever was ready, but still have some clothes that weren't done. In addition, they refused to honor the 20%. Not only did they not honor the day/time they guaranteed it would be ready, they made us run around and come back for the clothes multiple times despite it not being ready, delayed our travel plans with a big out-of- state move AND did not even honor the 20% OR offer some sort of reimbursement given the inconvenience. The managers Sue and Sandy are rude, unprofessional, and truly don't believe in customer service. They only care about the $$$. My family lives in the Dyer area and we use Lansing cleaners regularly, but I will make sure they never return again and provide business to this establishment. UPDATE: just had the owner call me. I'm updating my review: first, i overreacted in the first place. But was tired of multiple responses from the store that were not consistent. That said, having the owner call was exceptional. Over 13 years overall they have been great mostly. They don't lose clothes. And that's important. Now i know they care. I've been going to this cleaners for 13 years after moving into the region. The first 7 years service was outstanding. They had two ladies who knew me and were extremely friendly. I travel 90%, so i probably spend $200+ a month on cleaning. The next 4 years service was ok, but not what it was. The last year it's been awful. Every time i show up it's someone new. It's usually a high school girl that clearly doesn't want to be there. And yesterday, was argumentative and just ignorant. About a year ago i noticed my collar stays were no longer being returned. Additionally, shirts were getting new buttons replaced with differently colors and shapes. After observing this young woman's condescending attitude to the customer in front of me, i asked about the collar stays. Her response, people don't ask for them back, so it must not me an issue. I was taken aback because this makes no sense. You can't wear a shirt without the collar stay, so this was a residuals response. Now i have to admit i acted like a child and responded harshly. (That is not excusable and I'm sorry that i did). But her arrogance and ignorance was disturbing. After 13 years and thousands of dollars, i will not be back! So, I signed up for Yelp quite some time ago with the intention of writing a ton of reviews for places I love, and well, don't love as much... Time passed, of course, and it slipped my mind until today. I recently got into a car accident. I had coffee and blood all over my $180 WINTER WHITE wool, polyester and viscose coat. Not only was the coat full of 2 of the hardest stains to remove, it also sat for 2 days while we were waiting to hear if it was covered by insurance. Being that it is white, of course, it also showed the everyday wear of make-up and chicago-winter debris. I brought the coat to Lansing Cleaners as a long shot. I assumed that they could possibly lighten the stains, but that the blood, at least, was irreversible. When I picked up the coat today, it was immacculate. There is not a trace of anything. The coat looks better than the day I bought it. I am blown away!!! The customer service here is also impeccable, everyone is extremely friendly and accomodating. I will NEVER bring my clothes to any other dry cleaner, and I suggest that you do the same. Thank you, Lansing Cleaners!! read more

Is there a 0 star rating? Because that is what I would give this dry cleaner. I took a comforter in on Saturday and was told, and given a receipt, that said it would be ready at 5 pm on Wednesday. My husband went to pick it up Friday and they told him it was not done but would be done that evening. He went back Saturday, it was still not done but was told again it would be in that evening. He called yesterday and it had still not come in. They called this morning to let me know it was in to be picked up. We went to pick it up and they had no record that we paid, so she had to call the office accountant to find out, even after we showed her the receipt on our phone. Then she told us we owed $8 more because the stain that needed cleaned was dog vomit, therefore a bio hazard. Why would the person who took the order not know that it was longer and more expensive when I dropped it off? I specifically told them it was dog vomit. No one called to tell us of the upcharge or of the delay for the return. There was no apology, only explanation after the fact. The manager would not even offer a refund or to remove the additional charge. When I told her it was ridiculous she told me there was nothing she could do, some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I hope the $8 was worth losing a potential long term customer, as we are new to the area, and several poor reviews on Yelp and social media. read more

Have always had excellent service here! We used to go to their Dyer location when we lived in Dyer. Currently we have been a customer of their Highland location for about 8 years now since it's closer to home for us. Never a complaint!! They're so friendly, accommodating, and we always have coupons and rewards to use. read more
