I brought in 4 sets of curtains to be cleaned and they ruined 2 different sets of curtains. I was told that they do not take responsibility since I signed the little piece of paper. Plus the ones I did get back I had to steam wrinkles out of them. For as much as they charge for the service I figured it would have been done correctly. I can't say enough good things about Lansing cleaners. I have been using Lansing cleaners for about 20 years since I lived in Lansing Illinois. When I moved to Indiana I was thrilled to find several locations for the cleaners spread throughout Northwest Indiana. I frequented the Lansing cleaners in Dyer and do so on a weekly basis. They are always very friendly quick to remember my name and the price points are extremely competitive especially when using the 20% off coupons that can be found at many locations. On top of the good service and price points it should be mentioned that the clothes I drop off are always clean. My wife and in-laws experimented with competitor cleaners and on several instances things that were supposed to be white turned out yellow. This is a great example of a local brand that was able to leverage good service and prices into a multi location system servicing a community. read more

I have been coming to this cleaners for Years only because of the name. My clothes usually don't smell the greatest after but whatever I still use the business. I know I'm paying too much coming here but again its familiar at this point. What upset me today and the reason I will take my business elsewhere, closer to my home is I try to use the $10 off coupon that you get sometimes and I was unable to use it because it has to be presented when you drop off your clothes. Usually it prints after you pay from picking up your clothes! No loyalty, no nothing. Yes it's only 10 bucks off my $80 dollar bill but still irritating. I would not recommend Lansing Cleaners. I am very particular with my dry cleaning. As an C executive i am very careful with who I do my dry cleaning with. It is important to to look crisp and sharp! The staff is always friendly. The clothes are always done when stated. Have to bring coupon to get discount. Web coupon uses to much black ink and needs to be redesigned. But that has nothing to do with the quality of the dry cleaning provided! I rate high for the business professional! read more

I've been taking my suits and shirts here for about a year after leaving CD One Price because of quality issues. Everything was good until I got my $600 suit back from them and it shrunk and there was texture issues along with discoloration. It took them about 2 months to run an "analysis" what a crock that was!!! It came back saying there was no shrinkage after they told me there was initially. I'm not a perfectionist by any means and what I started to notice was the lining of my jackets coming out of the sleeve and around the bottom of them so quality started becoming an issue. So back to the suit that they ruined they offered me a refund in the amount it cost me for them to ruin it $12..is this a joke!!! I guess I'm not the smartest guy because while this was going on I continued to take my dry cleaning there at a cost of $135 each time I went there. Not anymore ladies and gentleman taking my business elsewhere!!!! This is a great example of a company taking its customers for granted. I'm definitely going to let people know starting on this great site that Lansing cleaners is fake and not out for your best interest. My family has been going here for over 10 years and have always been impressed with the quality of care and attention to detail. The owner is always great with making sure everything is cleaned carefully and as the label says. My family has seen wedding dresses that were completely yellowed come back white as if we just bought it new. I took my dad's Marines Dress Blues in and they did an excellent job of preserving it. I bring anything I'm afraid to wash myself here because they always take care of it! There's always 20% off coupons online if you forget yours, and every $100 spent gets you a $10 off coupon that you can combine with other offers like their monthly specials and coupons. I recently moved here so I didn't have a coupon when I dropped off my clothes. But when I went to go pick up my clothes I did get a coupon from local Jewel Osco. I asked if I could use it and she said it's already in the system so she can't let me use it and it's also their store policy. She told me, when I drop it off I could ask if there's old coupons in the back of the store. Well in that case why didn't you let me use your old coupon when I said I didn't have a coupon. It doesn't make any sense. My bill was $83, with the 20% coupon I could have saved $16. Not a good way to do business. You are close to work but I'm going to find another cleaners and I hope if you are reading this you do the same. Already their prices are high. Beware of Lansing cleaners...Took my daughter's $300.00 prom dress to Lansing cleaners in Dyer. They said they specialize in prom dresses/weddings. I asked 3times to verify dress could be cleaned and not damaged. The girl assured me they are the experts. The dress was fully beaded at the top. Of course they make you sign a waiver that if anything goes wrong they are not responsible. When I went to pick up the dress it was ruined. They gave me the owner's name Sandra Ustanik and phone number at the Lansing location. I called to speak to Sandra and I was told she was busy I explained the situation at that point they said she was gone for the day and to leave the dress and Sandra would review dress and get back to me. A few days later I never heard from Sandra or anybody, so I called to check the status on the dress of course Sandra was not available and would have to get back to me. Heather called me back and said I signed the waiver and there was no guarantee on the dress. I told her had I known that I would have never taken the dress to Lansing Cleaners. As I explained to her you are the professionals and yes I signed the waiver, but your staff said never had an issue and you clean prom/wedding dresses with no issue. If your cleaners was going to ruin the dress I would have never taken it there. I hung up and went to pick my daughters dress since the only focus is the waiver and it's my issue. When I went to pick it up they would not give me the dress until I signed the note the owner Sandra Ustanik put on it that said it passed. I wrote my response in order to be able to receive the dress (which is attached). No your cleaners failed at cleaning the dress and discolored the beading on it. Plus I still had to pay for cleaning service and buy my daughter a new dress. Poor way of doing business on Sandra's part by not calling customer or trying to rectify the problem. I will NEVER take anything back to Lansing Cleaners. Lost my total respect and ruined my daughter's dress and memories. read more

I dropped off a teddy bear that belonged to my recently deceased husband on Apr. 20th. I explained that the bear was over 60 years old and I just wanted it cleaned and that I needed it back for mothers day. It was all intact and did not need any repairs just cleaning. The girl at the counter went in back to ask someone if they could clean the bear and came back and told me yes. I told her again I just needed it cleaned and to be careful with it because it was very old. She took down my information and told me someone would call me with a price. I told her I did not care about the price just clean it. My ticket said the item would be ready for pickup on Apr. 27 at 5:00 pm. I called Lansing Cleaners in Dyer at 5:30 pm on Apr. 27th and was told that the bear was not back yet and to try in a few days. I called back on May 2nd at 11:30 am and was told that the bear hasn't even left the Dyer location yet and that they are waiting for my release. (for what I don't know because they still did not have a price on it) The girl on the phone gave me the old "I wasn't here that day" speech and didn't seem to care if this ever got resolved. She did say they tried to call me with a quote on a price and they must have had a wrong phone number. When I asked her what the number was that they called it was my phone number. I also asked why I was not told any of this when I called on Saturday and again "I wasn't here that day" came out of her mouth. I explained that I need this back by next Saturday at the latest. This girl I spoke to on 5/2 reminded me of Flo's sister on those progressive commercials-just didn't give a crap. I just hope their cleaning services are better than their customer service is because the workers I dealt with just plain suck. I wonder how long the bear was going to just sit at the Dyer location before someone did something about it? I just pray that this bear isn't ruined. It's a gift for my mother in law who is having a very difficult time dealing with her sons death and I am hoping this will lift her spirits a bit. I guess I will just have to wait and see.
