Place was outdated and dirty, no air conditioning whatsoever. There's also no sign of the Polish Sausages advertised on the building OR ice cream. There's bugs everywhere and the place smells terrible. The bathroom is horrendous. The only form of entertainment they have is a small room with one table and a TV. read more

I love coming here. It's so convenient and local! Don't have to worry about safety either everything is monitored and the owner is very responsive and friendly. I come at all hours and mostly at night and it stays open 24/7. read more

Berta's lil cafe is now closed. It has only the laundromat and where the cafe was is now a booth to wash the dog. Still a nice place but berta just got tired. I miss very much talking with her over a chilli dog and fries. She is great and if she opens another restaurant I shall become another faithful customer. Rich G. read more

Love this place! It's open 24 hours, which is great for me since I work nights, and I'm up all night anyway. I haven't gone for food since I've been there early in the morning. That's why only 4 stars, can't judge the food as I haven't had it. It's really small as far as the laundromat goes, but when you're there at 3am by yourself that doesn't matter! Lol. Actually one other person came in both times I was there, but it was when I was almost done, so fine. Maybe I'll get there earlier and eat some day! Lol. read more

If your an avid Jogger/Biker then this place is a perfect rest stop off of the bike route on Broad. Nestled right along side a rest stop you can actually find a couple of burgers for a few dollars or a chicago style dog for cheap as well. They also serve ice cream and other sandwiches as well. But you not only have all that but you can do your laundry in the room next door. Yep this joint has a laundromat. So whether tou are resting from a brisk jog or waiting for your clothes to dry you can have a delicious snack or fill up for lunch. It's not the biggest of places but what it lacks in size it makes up for in comfort. read more

Had some bulky items to wash that wouldn't be appropriate in my home machine, so I ran up here for the first time ever. Staff is more than friendly, laundry area is clean if a bit on the overcrowded side. Nice choice of machines available and of course it helps to have TV and wi-fi. Sat outside enjoying a snack from that side of the building; it was entertaining to realize just how many trains use that crossing per day! I'll definitely use them again when I have the need. read more

Cute little place to do your laundry! Felt very comfortable here which is a huge plus for me, AND that fact that I could get yummy ice cream in a wafflecone is even better. I love this adorable laundromat so much. I started going here to wash my clothes when I moved in with my boyfriend. The lil lady that owns the laundromat, Birdie (I think), oh boy where do I even begin? She's a godsent! Not only are her prices amazing, but the food she cooks is even better. I look forward coming here just to see her. She's always so friendly and she makes sure everyone is happy. I adore her and I will never stop coming here, even if I don't have any laundry to do. I'll always come back to talk to Birdie and eat her delicious food. Also, her milkshakes don't compare to anyone else's. They're better than steak n shake! She puts so much love into her work it's incredible. Even if you're having a bad day, you can come here and she will always put a smile on your face. Very tiny place. Typical grill fare. Hotdogs, hamburgers, Italian beef, chicken sandwiches, wraps, etc. Most of the staples, but with unique twists. Hot dogs are split and grilled and the bun is grilled on the outside as well. Italian combo sausage grilled as a patty (instead of typical sausage link style) with the beef and red sauce and grilled onions and peppers. Again, outside of bun grilled to give the roll a unique texture. Everything I've had there has been great. Highly recommend for lunch or quick stop, although carry out is probably best (very limited seating). read more

First time stopping in from the bike trail. It's exactly as advertised. Super friendly staffed, and just some good old fashioned iced cream and shakes. Didn't try the food, but I imagine it's tasty enough. Can't say I saw any life size bugs ready to snatch my children off there bicycles, so that was a plus! Will definitely stop in again. read more

Worst service I've ever had rude lady who works here with blond hair maybe mid 50's (owner) I have never been to a laundry mat that has been so disrespectful to me, my little sister who is only 12 and my step mom first one of her machines ripped us off then when we ask the lady she was without a doubt rude and took one of our quarters without asking to show us the machine worked. Her ice cream cones are over priced 2 dollars for a small ice cream cone? I can go to mc Donald's and get a ice cream come their a big one I might add and it be a dollar. My little sister had to use the bathroom really bad and we told her the door is locked now usually they have a extra key or a key to unlock the door but no she said we were the last ones who used the key but we weren't she was she went into the bathroom and I saw her walk away with the key in her hand so when I go ask for it she says oh I don't have the key you guys were the last ones who used the bathroom which is a lie needless to say we will not be coming back when she is here again worst service and a mean rude lady who shouldn't even be owning a business if she don't know how to run it. read more

This is a very cute, locally owned business with a proprietress that is very helpful, sweet and worth our support. She has made great improvements in the business since she took over. I have used the laundry facilities several times with no problems (except my fellow users can be pigs, not her fault). Anyway, never saw a flying roach? whatever that is. read more
