I also use their waxing services. The salon is clean. The pedi spa chairs use the disposable covers for the pedicure tubs. They have several pedicure options from regular to fancy spa pedicures. for the price that i paid getting my nails done, it was not worth it... i have cuts around my finger. they rushed my nails being done and while they would do it, they would randomly get up and leave or start working on another persons nails, the workers were rude and dismissive, it was a clean environment but would not recommend. read more

I woke up today and said hey, why not? I decided to do a local nail salon and had the pleasure to have Heather do my nails. Not only did the warmth environment of conversation made me comfortable but hearing other artist interact with their customers as well was great. My appointment started at 6:15 and I was out of there by 7:00pm she was fast and efficient but the quality was amazing! She took extra time to make sure my nails were cleaned up and were healthy before putting any polish on. She asked me for quality checks before drying and even when I slipped up and chipped my nail during drying she didn't even blink an eye to fix it for me. My daughter bought a $35 gift card yesterday on their website and when I went to redeem it, the guy at the front said that they could not honor it because it was still linked to the old management even though we bought it just yesterday. My experience here today was terrible and I normally don't write reviews but this time I have to. The lady was very rude. When I asked for certain colors or patterns she said those wouldn't look good on you. I am never going back there again. The worst experience I have ever had when it comes to nail places. First of all, I have never had ANY issues with this establishment or the people who work there. But I needed to make a review for Christina. Incredible! She has always done my nails phenomenally & I'm so grateful she's there! Today, I went to get my nails and toes done, I'm a fiend for matte on my nails and she did them beautifully. However, they dried weird and turned a brown color.. I got neon orange.. so I went back about an hour later to see if they could fix them. And Christina did so, no issues.. I didn't feel like they were upset I came back. She even thanked me for coming back to have her fix them. I loveeee this place, and even moreso Christina. Wow this place is pretty awful. Gets 2 stars instead of 1 mostly because it is at least clean. My friend and I went to get manicures and both of our estheticians were awful. Both seemed to be in a huge rush (the place was prett empty). I got a French manicure-sadly, the lines were crooked and the top coat wasn't applied evenly. My friend somehow had her pinky smudged by the employee and had to be redone. No one seemed to care about what they were doing, rushing thro the treatments. No hand massage with the lotion, and I had still had hangnails walking out the door. Will not be returning here ever, would much rather paint my own nails. read more

Had a pedicure yesterday and it was meh at best. A lady started it and then a guy came in off the street and finished it. Guess he works there...... He asked if I wanted calluses removed and I said yes use that little scrubby and the scrub gel and he then said it would be an extra $5. Really? Other salons have this included. I first tried this salon in 2017 for a simple manicure. Unfortunately, I ended up having very sore fingers, with one turning into an infection. I moved on to a new place, which I'm still a happy client of. They closed this February due to Covid, and I thought given the high ratings I would try Lansdowne again for a gel manicure and pedicure. I saw Christine. My gel manicure was uneven with visibly thicker areas of polish, and my toes - well I ended up with not only a skin infection on my large toe, but also a nail fungus. First time that I've ever had one, and I'm still dealing with it. I don't recommend this salon. At all. read more

Christine! She gave me 100% of what I'm looking for. My nails require a professional appearance and my natural nails are severely weak. I don't need a fashionable look, just a healthy professional appearance and Christine gave me natural polished nails (using the powder dips) and the steps to create a look that appears effortless and beautiful. she gave me the nails I wish I had been born with. Because they are a classic natural pink finish, I most appreciate I can go 3-4 weeks before I need another service. When I see my nails needing refresh in two weeks, having my nails done feels like a luxury service and expense. When I know I can go 3-4 weeks I feel the service is a necessary health investment and it's worth it to me to have them done by Christine than work a temporary fix on my own (in order to save money). How Christine managed to meet my expectations I would answer began with her ability to make me feel comfortable telling her upfront what I like and don't like. Instead of feeling like I was interrupting an Artist's process, Christine welcomed the information. Christine asked for feedback throughout the steps. I don't need conversation and I don't need fast. I need an investment for 3-4 weeks. Christine was fast and I don't try to chat much so she could keep focus and speed. And if you're obsessive about clean, pushed back cuticles, (my pet peeve) Christine is the GURL! My two teen daughters and I have been going to Lansdowne for years (various technicians) and the standard of service has always been high. Christine was the rare experience of getting exactly what I want and thus I am compelled to give credit to her! My daughters get the fashion nails and they love it. I mostly ask for a professional look (this requires professional level materials, which I can't achieve on my own). I'm sure Christine is equally competent with the glamour fashionable requests. The tech rushed through my service and it shows, it's a little sloppier than I'm used to. The reason for the 2 stars was all the cutting with the cuticle scissors. She way over did it. I would probably do zero stars if that was an option. Walked in. The staff was not really friendly or rude. They just simply didnt acknowledged me. I picked up my color, someone came from the back and said sit. I said where and she just pointed to the seat. She started to cut my nails without even asking. After she cut one nail I was like "what are you doing? I don't want my nails cut". Then she filed then super short. The whole manicure was really fast, I dont think it was a good job. She painted my nails with the gel color I picked, then placed a hot towel on my hands and just left it there for 1 minite. Asked me to pay. Charged 30 dollars for a gel manicure. Normally I pay 25 in most places. Then I asked her for change for a $20 for tip. She gave me two $10. I asked for more change and she said she had no more change. Normally I tip 20% which is $5 dollars. This time I was forced to give a $10 dollar tip on a manicure that didnt deserve it. Definitely not going back. In fact I recommend that anyone looking for a nail place around here goes someone else. I should've known better, because before going I saw the reviews and they were mostly bad, but then I found some good reviews so I decided to try it. Very disappointed! read more

I stopped in on my way to Starbucks and got a quick pedicure (I was in desperate need of a new one). I asked for exactly what I wanted (shorter nails please, I'd like to maintain those ingrown toe nails as long as I can), and my person did a great job! I absolutely love this light blue color, it was just what I was looking for! The foot massage was great, my cuticles were neatly cut and she made sure my top coat covered all my nails this time (she noticed it was a little off in the picture from my last Yelp review). Cindy and her husband at this nail salons is AMAZING!! Cindy is always busy but she will get you in. On top of that she will make sure it's perfect!!! I sometimes have to tell her that it's does not have to be perfect!! Lol. Cindy always gives good expertise with nails and pedicure. Every time I do the color she recommends or design I get so much complements!! Also the place is always immaculate and they make sure they sanitize everything. They also have hand towels and little amenities that are really thoughtful!! Also the price is really low for the service they provide! It's a good place to go and get ur mani pedi the right way! The work was OK, but the lady didn't clean up after waxing. I have lots of brows on my face! She asked me to wash my face when I get home. Hello? Aren't you supposed to clean it for me? Not so great. For starters I was taken in later than two ladies who came in a full 15 minutes after me. They did not have an appointment. Then the girl doing my nails was not great. To begin- the cuticle work was painful and at the end when she put the rubbing alcohol on, it burned, which means I must have been cut in a few places. Then she put the led light thing on the far right side of the table and expected me to put my left hand in it, which I did expecting her to realize her mistake, she did not realize her mistake and so I asked her to move it. She then worked almost exclusively on my left hand whilst my right hand stayed under the lights for what felt like an hour. Finally I reminded her about my right hand needing a top coat. My nails look OK. The place was clean. Immaculate almost which is a positive. But I won't be back. This was my second visit- the first time was a year ago and they haven't improved. read more

This salon is one of my favorite nail salons. I have been to many spas paying top dollar. This salon is clean and has very friendly skilled nail techs. My nail broke out of my own doing and Michael fixed it without charge and fit me in, on very short notice. Michael is one of the best nail techs/artist I've been too. He is a perfectionist and really tries to make your nails as perfect as can be but at same time makes your nails last and strong. I receive dip powder and gel. read more

I have never written a yelp review before but I've never had an experience this terrible. Decided to give this place a try for a pedicure and acrylics and I will definitely not be going back. The pedicure was fine, not the best but not the worst -don't really have complains for the pedicure. However, the guy who did my nails was super rude. I would first like everyone to know that this place does not clean your cuticles or trim your hang nails for a full set of acrylics. I was told that "this is a different service and is not included in a full set", which I have never heard of before. No matter where I've gotten my nails done, they have always cleaned up the cuticles and hang nails. My nails that this guy did look messy and he was extremely rude. He initially messed up my thumbnail because he applied too much polish and that nail look darker in color than the rest of my nails and there was a fuzz in The nail polish as well. I asked him if he could redo it which he did but he did not think of redoing it himself. When he redid it, there were weird white spots on that nail but I did not say anything. While I was allowing my nails to dry I accidentally messed up that thumb which is completely my fault but it does happen. When I asked him if he could fix it he made multiple unnecessary comments such as "I can't sit around here for you all day", "that was your fault and you need to take responsibility for your action" (which by the way I never denied that it wasn't my fault, I simply just asked if he could fix it and said sorry as well), and then he told me to fix it he was going to charge me $3 dollars. He was going to charge me $3 TO REPAINT A NAIL. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANY PLACE DOING THAT EVER?! He acted as if I had messed up my nails multiple times when in reality the first time he had to redo it was his own fault. Even the second time he did it had the weird white spots. I asked the other guy that was working there if he could fix my nail and he did it no problem and when he saw those white spots he redid the entire nail for me. The guy that was rude was the skinner one of the two, the other guy was nice enough to fix it for me. The service here sucks and it is not okay to talk to a customer like that. This is from my experience- again, the rude man was the skinnier of the two guys. The ladies and other guy were nice however getting your nails done here, at least for me, was not worth it. I recommend going to another place. Nails du jour in the same shopping center has excellent customer service compared to this place and will clean your cuticles and hangnails and fix any issues with your nails without a problem. read more

Sitting here getting a pedicure as I type. The lady doing my nails seems nice enough, but she is so focused on speaking to the other technician next to her, chatting with that tech's client and checking out the nail job the other tech is doing, that she is doing a terrible job on my feet. So far she has cut me twice, haphazardly pumiced my feet (so I'm sure I'll have to redo them when I get home) and the massage was lackluster. She also keeps getting up to assist other techs with random things. So unprofessional. Not relaxing. Total waste of money and this is taking forever. Never again! read more

My first Yelp review... I felt that I had to write about my experience. First of all, prices are high, but I still went in and got what I wanted because I was in the area. The girl that did my manicure rushed through it (it was not busy and it was not close to closing time) and I didn't get a hand massage. Any other place around town will rub your hands with lotion for a few minutes. So I'm paying more AND it's the most awful manicure I've ever recieved. She cut my cuticles so fast that 2 of them bled. I see reviews talking about employees leaving (which no one is sure of why) or the salon being empty (even the best nail salons get slow at times) but I don't think that's really the point of these reviews.
