Mixed feelings about this place, my mother daughter and I went to get our mail done, they took us in without an appointment, but they rushed trough everything, my gel manicure didn't last more than 6 days because it started completely peeling off. The lady who did my pedicure did a better job than the guy with my manicure but still my toe nail peeled off after a week, my pedicures usually last for about two full weeks till I refreshed it. The people working here is extremely sweet, that where my mixed feelings come in to place. I won't go back because the job wasn't what I was expecting. read more

This place was awful! I asked for pink & white, squared with rounded corners &a spa pedicure with extra massage. My nails are so ugly! They are coffin shape. The pink is closer to red & the white is 90% of my nail. Press on would look better. I never got the pedicure because they had no hot water. I'm going directly to another salon to fix these horrible nails & get my pedicure. This is the worst nail salon i have ever been to. read more

I walked out really upset and unhappy. First off, I went in with the intentions of getting a gel manicure. While getting it the guy did not know what he was doing, the application was sloppy and unprofessional. He then removed the gel filing down my nails even more, extremely unhappy about that. Resorted to regular nail polish and even then my 5 year old niece can do a better job. I would not recommend this place. Even as a last resort, I guarantee you doing it yourself will be the best way to go. read more

the one star is because the lady who did my nails was sweet. i came in for a 3:30 appointment and was seated 35 minutes later (whats the point of making an appointment ?) i asked for a very specific design and got something completely different (and worse.) I would've preferred for him to tell me he could not do what i was asking for instead of having me pay the full price plus extra for a sh*tty design. i don't recommend going here if you're looking for designs/patterns on long nails; they cant do it but they won't tell you that. read more

This place is horrible. I can't believe it's still open. I just can't believe people are still going there, sure the girl in the front is a sweetheart but there nail tech is awful to say the least. I'm not even sure of she speaks English because she never responded to anything I asked her. She did an awful job and she cut me more then once, to top it off the place is disgustingly dirty. After reading such great (albeit few) reviews, I decided to give this place a shot. I had not gotten my nails done in a very long time and wanted to treat myself. It was very easy to make an appointment a few hours before showing up. When I arrived, they knew my name and what I was there for, so that seemed like a good sign. I was assigned to a nail tech and I showed her an image of what I wanted (very basic, one colour, stiletto-shaped nails). I said I would prefer gels and she nodded and proceeded to file my nails and asked if the shape was okay. It wasn't even close and so I showed her the image again and she said I'd actually want acrylics. I told her that was absolutely fine, I just wanted to make sure my nails looked like what was in the photo. She proceeded to trim my nails, put on tips, etc. However, when it came time for her to file them she seemed to have no concept of how to make them even, let alone the shape I was requesting. She also managed to cut three of my fingers, one to the point of bleeding, and was very rough. She gave no real notice when I pointed out that I had been cut by her and continued without a word. When she was "done" shaping she started to prep for nail polish. My nails looked like a nightmare, so I told them I wanted to leave and paint them at home. It was the end of a very trying day, so instead of pushing back like I should have, I paid and left. I then went home and spent a long time shaping my nails properly and painting them. The woman managing the shop was very sweet and perky, but that cannot make up for such slipshod work. My fingers are also in extreme pain since last night and feel as though the tips have been bruised (which would not surprise me). I am no novice to having acrylics and/or gels, and this was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had. read more

So. This place is fine if Elegance Nails and Epic is closed and you have a broken nail and need a fill. Otherwise? Don't bother. A guy there did my nails, shaped them very, very wrong even though he had so many of my other fingernails to use as reference...then tried to explain to me that it will look fine once you put some polish on them. Excuse me? No. You messed up my nails. Then when I called it to his attention, he got annoyed.., and when I came back from washing my hands...they had moved my purse to another station???? Where another woman who has as confused as I was...painted them horribly streaked and spotty. Horrific. Now... I gotta spend $5 more dollars and go down the street to get them repainted somewhere else... Waste of time. read more

I just came back from Lani's Nails, I was very impressed with the staff. First of all, it was my first time getting a facial wax job. Lani was very gentle and turned on some soothing music. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I will recommend this place, at a mere mention of beauty needs. I didn't know about their expertise in eyebrows. I came here for a full face wax for my first time, and this was by far the best wax I've ever had. Haley was very detailed and did my eyebrows exactly how I liked them. The experience was very relaxing, and I left without any wax residue on my face. I definitely recommend coming in for the wax. My only con is that the salon isn't aesthetically pleasing (it looks a little old) but I saw how clean Haley worked and even washed her hands before she began. read more

I had severally over plucked eyebrows and after a year of letting them grow out it was hard for me to trust anyone with them, luckily my best friend recommended me to lani's nails. This is a small little nail salons with plenty of things growing on I got there and noticed that everyone that was working t was busy with a client they asked me what I was there for and told me to sit down, I waited for about 10 minutes and then haily assisted me. I went into the waxing room with bushy untamed eyebrows and came out with a beautiful new shape and did not regret it at all. I strongly recommend getting your eyebrows done here. 5 stars for me. read more

I first visited Lani's when I was graduating 8th grade. That was more than 10 years ago! I haven't stopped coming since. Specifically for waxing. All of the girls are great with waxing and always do a great job. I've tried other places nearby since I live around the corner, and none of them wax as well as the staff at Lani's. Michael is great with acrylics!!!! Hailey always does a great job with my pedicures as well. I would suggest calling ahead and setting an appt because they have so many walk-ins usually. I don't care if I have to wait for service because it's always well worth the wait. Prices are great too!!!! read more

This place is very close to home and I've been going for years to get my eyebrows done. Recently I made an appointment to get my nails done. I got there and had to wait for about 30 minuted regardless of the fact I had an appointment. Then some guy Michael came to attend me and he didn't do any kind of mani treatment on me he simply started the filing machine and went at it with my nails. Then he glued the nails on and he didn't shape them evenly. When he did the polish he didn't let them dry and told me they where ready. Then he moved on to doing gel nail polish on my mom. Again, he didn't perform any mani treatment he didn't even shape them nicely. He started painting her nails again didn't let them dry. Then he rubbed some kind of oil over her nails and the clear coat came off along with the polish and said she was done. At this point while inspecting my nails the polish had already started to chip off in various areas. When I brought it up to him he laughed and said "I was ok". He didn't do anything about it so I left and I'm not looking to return at all. Now I have to go else where to get my nails repaired and taken care of and hopefully my nail buds aren't completely ruined and heal. I wouldn't trust this place with my nails. read more
