    Triple Double Breakfast Sandwich
    Brian C.

Stopped in for a late morning breakfast after a visit to the dog beach. Grabbed the triple double breakfast sandwich and it was incredible. Soft bread, a little bit runny egg, crisp bacon! We also had a donut and their blueberry lemon scone which were also good. Wouldn't hesitate to come back again the next time we head out to the island.

Absolutely delicious. I tried the special of the day, a fried chicken sandwich with chips, the house iced spiced chai latte, and a bakery item that I can't remember the name of, but it was similar to a giant donut hole rolled in cinnamon sugar. The donut had a light crunch on the outside and the inside was fluffy. I'm still dreaming about it.

This is my second time to Langley kitchen and it was fantastic! The breakfast sandwich was the perfect opening note for our trip to Whidbey! I added avocado and a splash of hot sauce! I also tried the seasonal blueberry bread pudding French toast it was fresh and so good! I highly recommend trying whatever is seasonal! I also had a mocha which was good! The orders were taken at the register and they have a pick up window to get your food and drinks. Once you order, your food and drinks come out quickly! The cute little shop also has covered outdoor seating where you can enjoy and eat your meal or snack! I would definitely come back!

The menu here is hearty gourmet breakfast and brunch items. The bread for the breakfast sandwich was so soft. We sat outside in August and the temp was absolutely perfect.

Hands down, this is my absolute favorite spot for a sandwich. I brought a friend here, and now she can't stop raving about it either. My favorite, the Bayview sandwich, is a perfect blend of flavors, featuring turkey, cranberries, and delicious focaccia bread. This charming and bright place offers not only incredible food but also great staff! :)

I'm usually not someone who loves sandwiches but these were AMAZING. I got the bayview and it was so good. The turkey was super tasty and the focaccia bread was so soft. Also the cranberry sauce with the apples in the sandwich were just *chefs kiss*. Their baked goods looked amazing as well and I'll have to come back to try them! Staff is super friendly too and food came out quickly. There are a few tables outside but not a ton of seating.

Easily the best lunch spot in Langley. I don't know how to write this without sounding corny but the person who took my order was so kind and real, like they didn't put on some weird customer service voice. The sandwich was also amazing.

Nice place to grab some food and sit outside and eat or take to go. I got breakfast to eat there and sandwiches to go and was not disappointed in either. The breakfast was good - tried the quiche which was tasty and flaky. The sandwich special was the pork and it was better than the quiche! If they have it, I would recommend it. The staff was great. A good place to try when you are on Whidbey Island.

Put your name on the list and then wander a bit, you can work up an appetite. We had a lovely meal. I had the northwest scramble, and it was full of tasty bites of salmon and mama lil's peppers. Husband had the Reuben and was unable to finish it as it was a fairly large portion. The staff is some of the sweetest I've experienced. They were kind and friendly throughout our experience, even though some patrons were less than nice about the wait times. Well worth the wait!

Theres plenty to see so it didn't feel like a long wait. Husband got the breakfast burrito. He said it was really good, only con was that the salsa that came with it was like an ice slushy which would have preferred not cold. I got the salmon hash which I thought was one of the best hashes I've tried. The eggs and potatoes were seasoned and cooked perfectly and there was a lot of salmon - good ratio of everything. Only other con was that after we got seated we waited 30 mins to get our food. But service was really good and we could tell the cooks were busy with other tickets. Overall we really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back if we're on Whidbey again!

Service was attentive and friendly as usual. We were quickly seated for our reservations. The tartare and mussels are our go-tos for appetizers. The tartare may be a challenge for some folks but the freshness of the meat with the richness of the egg yolk, on toasted bread, is beyond delightful. I might just have that as my main entree one day! The mussels were perfect and the broth it was boiled in was so tasty we had to bring the remainder home with us! My bride had the hanger steak (rare) which came out gorgeously seared and juicy on the inside. The shoestring fries are addictive! I could not resist having my lamb burger (med-rare). What more can I say? The arugula on some mayonnaise, the bit of salsa, the moist and generously sized burger with a touch of lime(?) and perhaps some ginger(?), on a bun that tasted freshly baked. No sauce needed. We had a pitcher of rose which was delightfully light and fruity, which went well with our meal. A wonderful way to celebrate Love!

We enjoy Langley and the lights and shops were great to visit. We showed up just before our 5 PM reservation and the hostess was standing at her computer. My wife asked about sitting on the heated outdoor area because it smelled odd in the dining room. She said it was full (it wasn't) but then still looking at her screen said if we could wait a bit they can make a table available. We gladly waited for a few minutes. There were three to four open tables both inside and outside and she sat us at a two top in the corner next to the door. My wife asked if we could get out of the corner but no go. Then she asked if we could just fit inside then? Now the hostess didn't want to accommodate that and when asked what happened to the table inside she intended to give us originally the hostess, in a rather snotty tone, said to my wife "you only made your reservation today!". That isn't the way to address my wife! She told her that we would just go somewhere else. Crickets from this hostess....no effort to please us so gone we were! We haven't been here for a year since the food was not that great last time and cannot compare at all to other better French restaurants on the east coast and our trips to France. We just thought we'd they it again for a nice holiday weekend meal. We went right across the street to a truly packed Village pizzeria, they kindly fit us in at a great bar seating and we got to watch the LA bowl and Huskies and enjoy our usual Village Pizza, caesar, and a couple of rounds of drinks. Excellent and friendly service! We won't be returning now recommending Prima Bistro again. We often tell guests and friends that it's likely a better choice than Saltwater next door. We are getting tired of the "finer" dining on Whidbey that is often overpriced, unreliable, and un accommodating compared to similar dining elsewhere. This was a good example. And at 7 PB appeared almost empty from our view from the street!

I started with a pineapple margarita which was tasty and had a smoky Tajín rim which was a nice surprise. We indulged in the crab cakes which were very flavorful and crispy with a fantastic remoulade. These were easily my favorite item and I could have eaten 5 more orders. The squeeze of lemon was delightful and brought all the flavors together beautifully. The main dish of seafood risotto was delicious as well and incredibly flavorful. I enjoyed the oil/sauce the meal was served on and every bite was fantastic. My only disappointment was the size of the entrees as they were small portions. The burger was also fantastic although the size was on the smaller side and there were not a lot of potato wedges included. Overall I loved this place and the service was great. The atmosphere was lively as they had live music playing which was a nice touch. I'm excited to try more dishes from this cute little restaurant.

There is a very small seating area dedicated to the food truck-- the larger outdoor seating area is reserved for customers of the Brewery. The order process was easy-- they had the full menu on the glass of the ordering booth and a menu board with the gluten free options from their full menu. Once you place the order they give you a beeper that'll work anywhere on the property so you can definitely place the order and head inside the brewery to grab a drink. It did take a long time for our orders to come out-- there were 2 people on average preparing the food while 1 person was in charge of managing the register. The sauce that came with the fish and chips were amazing and got praise from all of us. We also ordered kimchi fried rice and while the kimchi was great, some of the rice tasted undercooked and the celery felt a little strange as an addition. The kalua sandwich was very solid and the buns were toasted beautifully golden and we did order the award winning beans but my partner was not a fan of the sweetness. The coleslaw that came with the fish and chips also had a gingery aftertaste.
