The portions are serious, the chicken is juicy, and the breading has a great crunch. What really sets them apart for me is the spice. I've had levels 3, 4, and 5, and they're not simply the same seasoning with progressively more heat. Each level actually has a different pepper profile and flavor. Level 3 brings cayenne and Thai chili, level 4 moves into Thai chili and habanero, and level 5 adds habanero and ghost pepper. You can taste the difference, not just feel more burn. The seasoned fries are great too and they definitely don't skimp on the portions. It is a little pricey for a chicken sandwich and fries, but when you see the size and quality of what you're getting, I think it's worth it. Scratch is easily one of my favorite hot chicken spots.

Here, it was actually really good--crispy, flavorful, and not overly fatty like many other spots. The bánh mì chả cá also surprised me. I'm pretty picky about chả cá because a lot of places don't make it fresh--it's often too soft and has a slightly fishy smell. This one was different. It had that slightly chewy texture and tasted fresh, just like the authentic chả cá I had back in Vietnam. The only small thing is I wish the bread was a bit softer, but overall both sandwiches were delicious. Definitely worth trying!

I wanted to get there after any lunch rush. You walk in and order at the counter. The friendly young lady took my order, and answered my questions. I ordered the Drip #3 Combo, Mild, $14.99+ Drink $2.99, +tax= $19.91 The food is cooked to order, so I had to wait 5-10 mins. They call your number, and you go up and grab your tray. So no table service. That means you have to bus your tray when you're done. You get pretty good portion size. The Drip #3 Combo had two large tenders on toast, crinkle fries, slaw, secret sauce and pickles. The tenders were juicy and moist. Chikin Drip says they only serve top quality chicken. I could easily cut the tenders with a plastic knife. They were tasty with the dipping sauce. The crinkle fries were hot and fresh. Crispy on the outside, hot and soft on the inside. However, the slaw was not made properly. It was just a scoop of shredded veggies with no dressing at all. Overall, the food was okay. It would of been nice to have an actual salad. The dining room has a very unique and creative look. I'm guessing that's where the word "drip" comes into play. Cool and stylish in form and fashion. Hip hop music plays.
