Sliders with waffle fries with trimmings on the side
    Nohemy C.

If you attend an event and this turquoise truck is there, don't think twice, do it! I ordered the sliders (2) with half order waffle fries and asked for the trimmings on the side so I can share with my toddler. Had to order no spice and I was amazed and how much food it was. The fried chicken batter has a sweet after taste, almost like brown sugar, and the meat was juicy and tender but not greasy. The buns were a mild version of the Hawaiian buns and were toasted on the inside but soft and pillowy on the outside. The cole slaw had fresh pepper and I loved that it didn't taste like mayo, you can actually taste the cabbage. Their sauce is your standard mayo sriracha and the waffle fries were seasoned and delicious. The service was friendly and the wait wasn't too bad considering they make everything fresh. I saw they offer vegetarian and Halal options but I didn't try them this time. My husband went with their traditional sandwich medium spicy and he loved it. He did say the spicy kicked in after swallowing and had a building effect so beware of the extreme spicy levels! Can't wait to try this place again!

I saw this truck at a food fair and we decided to try out the chicken sandwich! Reasonable priced at $14 and +$3 if you want to add fries. We got the sandwich at spicy level "spicy" and it was made from ghost pepper or habanero. The worker said the pepper changes based on the spice level. I usually like my food pretty spicy and I would give the sandwich spice level a 5/10 that built to 7/10. The chicken was juicy tender and flavorful! I was able to split this with my bf and we were decently full. I'd get it again if I passed by!

Very happy with this food truck! Was attending the local Water Lantern festival and I was hungry for dinner around 6:30 pm! Their food truck had no line and I was taken care of. I ordered their chicken slider combo for around $18 and it was a fast turnaround of 5 minutes. Great service with great food! The waffle fries were crispy and delicious. The chicken sliders were soft, crunchy, and seasoned well. Would definitely order from here again.

Amazing food as always - though this time we tried it as a guest feature on our community and the wait time was crazy long. We just ordered a chicken sando combo and it took 40 min to get our order, totally unreasonable! The fries here are classic waffle fries which are delicious as always. I would go to chick n bros over this one though.

I tried this new food truck for lunch and wanted something different today. I tried their Nashville friedchicken which is their signature dry rub. Delicious! It's probably the first using a dry rub instead of using a wet sauce. But they marinade their chicken to be moist and tender after being fried. Also highly recommend their ranch because its a superb dipping sauce. Their slightly spicy aioli is meh. Customer service is fast and bustling busy. Great service here too. I would come back again.

I ain't a chubby chaser But you can catch me eatin' at chubby chicken 2 piece 3 heat Half order fries Catch me here next week Got this shit on repeat On a real note: They got 5 levels of heat, we got the spicy(level 3) and if you had Dave's spiciest level. It's comparable in heat and you can taste the pepper. Chicken was juicy and fries were good. The sliders is basically the size of the sandwich but made to share. They were posted by Silver Creek plaza today, and it's by a Chickfila. I paid just a little more to have a better spicy chicken sandwich experience. Waffle fries and actually spicy chicken.

-medium spiced Nashville hot chicken sandwich was spicy af -maybe ask for mild if you don't want to sweat -the chicken itself is juicy and the coating holds up -loaded fries were ok. Too much coleslaw

We got the loaded fries with medium spice from their food truck. It was delicious! The chicken was crispy and the fries had excellent seasoning as well. The medium spice was a good balance--not too spicy and not too mild. I for sure know I won't trying the "Mega Death" level spice any time soon!

Stopped by Chubby's Chickn at the Gordon Biersch Night Market in San Jose, and it was pretty good! I ordered the Hot Chick'n Sando Combo (mild) and a side of Chubby's Sauce. Service was friendly, and the wait for the food was a little longer than expected (10-15 minutes), but not bad at all. When it did come out, I was shocked at the massive portion size. I had to basically cradle the to-go box like a baby, as the lid was popping open. Definitely enough food for 2 meals! The Hot Chick'n Sando was tasty and incredibly filling. I liked that the mild seasoning still had a lot of flavor to it. However, the breading on the chicken was a lot thicker and greasier than I usually prefer. Waffle fries also aren't my typical go-to, so I only ended up eating a handful of these. However, I really liked the Chubby's Sauce, with tasted like spicy aioli. Overall, great value if you're looking for something indulgent.

Really happy they are in a safer neighborhood! I finally tried it after for so many years. Frankly, I was a little apprehensive to go to their previous location. Ordered their Nashville chicken sandwich, hot level and it was spicy, so be prepared!!!! If you like spicy, this is perfect level for you! The buns were a little dry but overall, pretty good! The waffle fries were delllicccious! Honestly good but a bit pricey for a food truck!

BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH SPOT HANDS DOWN! I enjoy this truck because other spots have a sweet taste to their burgers/chicken which I dislike, and this place nailed the taste. Always waiting for them to be parked by aborn to pull up!

Nice workers and good service def recommend try this spot.

We happened to drive by here when we were on the way to Sprouts and saw the tented lights in the parking lot. We drove up and saw the cutest little taco truck set up. They even had a table so you could sit down and eat if you wanted to. When I walked up I saw 2 people working-- one of which happened to be the owner's daughter Stephanie who was taking orders. First question-- Was it cash only? She instantly answered and said no, they accepted cards and Apple Pay. Perfect. Because if I needed to, I would have walked over to the ATM on the other side of the parking lot. I ordered a Carne Asada Super Burrito ($12.50 + tax= $13.66) to share and Stephanie asked me what kind of sauce I wanted. I answered and said the 'orange' because I was curious to see what their take on it would be. After splitting the burrito down in half and taking my first bite, I already knew. This place is legit bomb. I made sure not to use any of the orange sauce first because I wanted to see how it tasted on its own. I was not disappointed. The carne asada was super tender. It was almost like they slow cooked the meat and then fried it up. That kind of tender. The rice was fluffy and seasoned, and the beans (which are always a deal breaker for me if not done right) were done perfectly. With the finely chopped fresh onions, salsa +cilantro and the best part-- freshly sliced avocados with melted cheese--- OMG. Oh and the orange sauce? Also bomb. I haven't tasted an orange sauce like this one before since everyone does it a bit differently. Their take had a fresh squeezed lime taste in it along with the spicy hot that I love to pour over burritos. I took every bite thinking to myself, Is this really just that good? The answer? Yes. Now get yourselves over here and try it for yourself. You can thank me later. My last thought now as I'm writing this is why isn't this place packed with a line running down the parking lot? I'm thinking because no one knows about this place yet but soon enough I think that will change.

Most of the food is prepared in a food truck where you line up and order. Seating is next to the sauce bar and they have first come first serve seating. Typical culture is to put the sauce directly on the tacos when you receive them. They give sauce cups if you order to go otherwise they are reluctant to give them out. Currently they are constructing a building around their seating area which is new. This implies that they are generating enough cash to turn their food truck and seating area into an actual establishment. Onto the food review! Carne Asada 7/10 Lengua 7.5/10 Carnitas 8/10 Cabeza 8.3 /10 Suadero 8.5/10 Al Pastor 8.5/10 Suadero and Pastor were top contenders with the most flavor depth. Personally I liked the cabeza as it was very soft, but the flavor can't compare to the suadero. The carne asada lacked flavor in my opinion and was the least tasty out of the meats we tried. Carnitas had that great crunch you're looking for in a taco as it is seared excellently. Lengua was flavorful and super soft just like the cabeza which indicates that they were both braised to perfection. All choices are very solid albeit be prepared for a very greasy meal. The star of the show is their avocado salsa! They offered 6 other sauces in their sauce bar but the avocado salsa was superb compared to the others. This was the only option that had me coming back to sauce bar throughout my meal. They also offered pickled carrots, jalapeños, and onions at their sauce bar to help balance the flavors. Finally the best JD big back tip is to get the large strawberry horchata! It was so good we finished ours before even taking a picture of it! The flavor profile on that beverage is superb, imagine a creamy strawberry yakult that is the perfect option to balance greasy tacos. This is a hidden gem item as their strawberry horchata is significantly better than other restaurants version of it. They also offer other flavored horchata but the strawberry remains top tier.
