This is a restaurant offered by Magaritaville, a resort inside Lake Lanier. To access this restaurant, you have to pay , to get into Magaritaville. We visited during off season, and everything (rides, rentals, services, amusement park stuff) is close. Hence, no charge to get into Magaritavilla, and to get to this restaurant. This is a themed restaurant. Its a beach house, with burgers, fish, and chip. The menu is pretty basic. We had the fish n chip , the philly cheesesteak, and the chicken tender. The food is 3 stars. Definitely frozen stuff to fryer, to over, etc etc. The food is meh. But you are here, for the vibe. Its late October, its 75F , the leaves are turning, and the lake is calm, its quiet. That's what you are paying for. The view, the vibe, the feel of being on a beach, without 5h of driving.

If you are out boating and looking for a place to dock ans grab a bite i highly suggest coming here ! There is usually a wait but its worth it you can grab a drink at the bar while you wait ! The food is good and service is top noch you cant beat the beautiful view !

It was dead on a Monday afternoon, not much atmosphere. Drinks are expensive, average of $16. Food is expensive for what you get. $17 for 8 tiny wings, $17 for 3 mahi tacos that were just ok. $17 for frozen breaded shrimp that were yuck and comes with frozen fries. I realize it's a resort place, costs of food are higher but at least make it worthwhile.

Cool fire pit outside of the restaurant, would be a nice place to get a drink at night probably not in summer though!

I live in. Florida and have been to several Landshark locations. We were visiting Lake Lanier on a hot summer day and decided to give this location a try. (It's also really the only casual dining option available once you enter the Margaritaville area.). It is similar to other Landshark locations; open air dining with a patio that overlooks the lake, Jimmy Buffet/tropical decor, and jimmy Buffet videos and tunes playing throughout the establishment. When we went the restaurant was only about 1/3 full. We were seated on the patio and given menus and water within a reasonable amount of time. The menu is what you"d expect: burgers, seafood, tacos, nachos, and salads. Plus they have a full bar and lots of specialty tropical drinks available. My sister ordered a beer, and my daughter and I just ordered water. Someone messed up; and the food runner brought over 2 beers. We said we didn't order it; and they said to just keep it.....so I broke my diet and forced myself to have a beer. It was cold and refreshing! I ordered the Caribbean Chicken Salad which came with blackened chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, tortilla chips, candied pecans, and a mango ranch dressing. It was a large portion, and really quite good although I did have to ask for an extra cup of dressing to add to it. It was reasonably priced at $13.99. My sister ordered the Landshark burger and she opted for a side salad instead of fries. She said hers was good; although she wanted to cut it up, (salad style without the bun,) and it took a really long time to get someone's attention to come over and bring her silverware. My daughter had the chicken breast with a small Caesar salad and mixed veggies. She liked it and took half of her chicken home because it was a big portion. The restaurant was clean however when I asked to use the restroom we were told that it is not actually inside the restaurant; but in the building out the front door and around the side. It seems to be the same bathroom facilities that people using the waterslides and beach are using and the bathroom area was pretty disgusting inside. I am not going to go into details but I was very glad that I had some tissues in my purse because there was no toilet paper in the stall. This definitely took my review down a bit because the women's bathroom actually looked like it had not been cleaned or serviced for days! I realize that the restaurant and bathrooms are separate things.....but I would imagine many restaurant patrons would like to use these facilities to at least wash their hands before dining. Someone is not doing their job!

I went to LandShark because I was staying at the Legacy Lodge for the weekend for a conference. The beach by LandShark is the free beach access area for when you stay at any of the Lanier Island properties. I really like that the area does offer chairs on a first come first served basis. I brought an umbrella with me that could easily attach to the chair for additional shade. They do not provide towels in this area so plan accordingly. I brought my own as I did not expect them to provide towels for use at the beach. I am currently on crutches and my trip was planned months before that was the case. It was a little difficult for me to get to the beach area because of the steep incline BUT I was happy there was at least a ramp most of the way down to the beach. I did have to traverse a shorter staircase to get on the beach. I sent my partner to get me a frozen drink from the Tiki Bar to enjoy while I relaxed in my chair. He pulled up the menu online for me and I picked the drink. He came back with one for each of us but said they were over $30. I asked him how if they were listed on their website as $10.50. He had asked the cashier and she said the price was actually $15 each and she'd let her manager know the prices were wrong on the website. She mentioned the prices recently increased and the website must not be accurately reflecting the new prices. We were fine with that but do know if you're looking at their prices online they they may not be 100% accurate. Our drinks were very good though and I would definitely come back to enjoy drinks and the beach. We wanted to eat lunch at LandShark's indoor restaurant but the wait was nearly an hour around 2:30pm on a Sunday. So do plan accordingly if you have little ones or someone who needs to eat on a schedule. We could not wait an hour to eat and left the property to try to find food elsewhere. I would like to say thank you to the staff that works in the LandShark area from the restaurant, tiki bar to the rentals and marina. I had several staff members ask if they could assist me or carry my bag up the long ramp back to the parking lot as I struggled on my crutches. This was the only location on the entire Lanier Island property that staff offered to help me at all. I watched where the young man who offered to help me was actually stationed to work and it was in the marina area. This young man didn't have to offer to help me since I wasn't even using the actual marina area but he took it upon himself to go above and beyond. THANK YOU! It's the little things that go such a long way to make a good impression. I appreciate the staff in this area of the property being more attentive to those with additional needs.

Can I just start out with a Birthday shout-out to MYSELF I'm definitely feeling my age between the sun n the water... but I'm going to keep this review for the Resturant & not park There's definitely been a stay flow of people in n out for the past 2 hours & there's other options be it that they r fast food. I had the Korean Buffalo Shrimp which is really beer battered shrimp tossed in buffalo sauce. I was so hungry that I didn't care that they were mediocre only that there were like 12 of them. I followed that up with the blacken salmon which main seasoning was salt. Please understand that this is not me complaining... it just happens to b my birthday & Y'all know how much I enjoy really GOOD FOOD. My friend had the Hawaiian burger & took all the toppings off. That's never a good sign. But if you bring your appetite like I did. Nothing else will matter

Whew...what a disaster. Slow service, and terrible food. Would rather eat a microwaved Stouffers meal.

Complimentary bread served with a tomato balsamic like dipping sauce. Prices are great given the craziness of how expensive everything in our current economy is. Food came out hot and fresh. That's a big deal for me. Don't give me warm food, give me hot food! The tartar sauce, and the ranch... so yummy. The chicken and berry jam sandwich is a great size. The server was pleasant but very matter-of-fact when I asked about the lobster bisque, simply saying it was on the way. The lobster bisque was flavorful, though saltier than usual. K said the Caesar salad was average. The bread was fresh and warm, though I would have preferred butter instead of the tomato sauce (even though the sauce itself was enjoyable). Service was slow overall and the food took a while to arrive. The crab cake was fairly bready and fried dark, but acceptable. K said the 14-oz ribeye was well prepared. The crab Oscar was overly salty. The mashed potatoes and fried chicken were solid choices. I substituted broccolini for green beans for a $2 upcharge, and it was worth it. The piano player until about 9 p.m. on Friday night added a nice touch, and the restaurant is attractive inside.

Pelican Pete's being on the water and making it easy to dock your boat and come on up is suuuper convenient. Who wants to pack a lunch and make room in the cooler? Nobody. That definitely means this place gets busy though. So prepare yourself for possibly a long wait. Some friends and I visited Saturday afternoon. We put our names in for our group (10 of us) and had a wait of an hour. Not horrible. We took a bathroom break and hung out at the boat until it was our time. Pro- the bathroom was surprisingly clean! Con- only 3 stalls so there was a significant line. When we sat down we had to wait a bit to get our orders taken which was a little annoying but there were lots of people there so I'm sure our server was swamped. She was friendly. The food was pretty good! I liked the dock burger that I got. I loved the sauce they put on it, paired really well with the carmelized onions. Fries were awesome! And I loved the Lava Flow drink as well. The way they brought out our food was not the greatest. They had a food runner bringing the plates out and asking the whole table "who ordered the _____" and some of us ordered the same thing without an ingredient so that was a lot of fun for a table of 10. Why not hire more servers and have them bring the food to their own tables? Much better idea especially for larger groups where they know who ordered what. Prices are a little high, especially for things like fish & chips. $24? Kinda weird. Not sure why a burger is $6 less than simple fried fish. Anyway. I know it's on the water and there are costs involved in that, so I won't harp on it too much. I'd happily come back because I enjoyed the food and love how easy it is to come up to it off the water. But it would be really nice if they had more bathrooms and knew who ordered what when they ran food. Oh and if they lowered the price of the seafood.

The full fish filet ends up being quite large, with the other food and sides would definitely be enough to sate two. We ordered the General's Platter for two which was a full fish filet, four jumbo shrimp/prawns, six hush puppies (definitely not English), and a choice of more commonwealth style Chips or American fries. Food was overall excellent, freshly made, with authentic batter and a pretty good tartare sauce. Also with classic lemon and malt vinegar to complete the look. Staff are extremely nice and accommodating; order at the counter and they will bring to you at the table, seat yourself. Also a bar for some draughts and drinks but it was lunchtime and nobody was partaking. Store is dressed up head to toe heaps of Brit ephemera and otherwise but is super casual! Sitting and eating next to Mr. Bean was fun. Parking available on the street but probably recommended to park in the structure behind. Only problem is the store was playing American music and not the Brit classics!
