I've stayed here (under my maiden name earlier) dating back to 2004. I was told about Land's End from my friends who visit every year for a family reunion. Nice, family oriented place. Amenities include oceanfront location, off street parking, hot tub, deck with charcoal BBQ, and more. Also nice to have a kitchenette with restaurant prices through the roof in CB. Always have a memorable time here.

We stay here nearly every year at least once or twice. Personally I think it's the best dog friendly Hotel on the Oregon Coast. We stay here when we don't bring our dog too as it is a phenomenal location. Not much better than staying in downtown Cannon Beach. You are in walking distance of nearly everything and literally steps from the downtown beach entry. Not the fanciest decor, but livable and comfortable for families and pets. Great place!

This hotel has clean and nice rooms. Our room was on the side and had the oceanview like we had reserved but I was expecting one if the rooms directly facing the ocean. In any case, the room was spacious. Help came right away when we had some trouble with the TV. The room was cozy and the fireplace fully equipped with a duralog and a matchbox was an icing on the cake. This room had everything we needed for the our one night stay. The coffee was good and the bed was good too.

Super quaint and spacious hotel with kitchen and mini fridge. Our stay was great. Very dog friendly and has beach access and patio area overlooking the beach. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend

It simply does not get better than this! Upon arriving, I was greeted in the office by a gentleman who addressed me by name and was beyond nice. It felt as though he was the owner. If he's not, he definitely deserves a raise! The envelope that was provided to me had my keys along with a list of restaurants in the area (what days they're open, if they deliver). It's little things like this that make a difference. The hotel also provides firewood to burn at the beach at night for $6 (super reasonable). The room we booked was a one bedroom. We got a balcony, fireplace, kitchen. It's all that you want and so much more. There is a hot tub on the property. Our balcony overlooked the beach. It is literally just steps from the beach. It is also literally by all the bars and restaurants- just a short walk. Outstanding location, room, service. If you're looking to stay in Cannon Beach, look no further. This is your place! Book in advance in the summer months.

VERY small. Must get on the floor to access

Very disappointed! We planned on staying 4 days. The location is beautiful. Right on the beach. But, the room is NOT comfortable at all. Couch is made like you're sitting on the floor. Refrigerator is very small and again you need to get on your knees to get in it. No comfortable chair to relax in. And the queen bed was crammed into the room. Maybe a foot on each side to the wall. Heat didn't work and no additional blankets. Overall....the room was extremely uncomfortable! I also told them when we checked in that my husband has mobility issues. To access the room it was up 2 sets of stairs. They were short, but after 6+ trips up and down the stairs getting our belongings in, a guest next door to us said we could have drove up to the fence and easily accessed our room with NO stairs. Uugghh... Lastly because we left after 1 night, the hotel added 25% to our bill because we canceled 3 nights. We won't be back!

We enjoyed ourselves so much the first time, my fiancé and I decided to make a return trip. Although both visits have been off-season (March/January), we can't see any reason not I visit year-round (guessing it's packed during the summer)--plus, you can save on the rates. We chose Land's End because if it's beach-front and town-center proximity, fireplaces, and history of strong reviews. We don't have a dog (yet!), but we look forward to returning to this pup-friendly gem in Cannon Beach again! PS: 1-star deduction: Land's End needs to fix their WiFi. Very poor strength--erratic and unreliable.

It's always great to check-in and be handed towels & blankets for our pups. This place is more than pet-friendly, they have everything set up so pet owners can enjoy themselves and clean up after their pets. Thanks to Bret (?) Who always offers up great local food recommendations and insider tips to this tiny, sleepy-looking but jam-packed town.

We've stayed here 4 or 5 times in the past two years. This place is clean, modern, with comfortable furnishings, helpful staff AND it's the only lodging in downtown Cannon Beach that accepts dogs. It's literally steps to the beach and almost every room enjoys an ocean view and comes with a fireplace and a Duraflame log. It's three stories high, with no elevator, so if you aren't up for stairs, ask about a ground floor room. If you stay here we can recommend Lazy Susan's Cafe for breakfast and Sweet Basil's wine bar for dinner. Ask the desk clerk for directions to either place. Do check rates in advance. The town is a tourist attraction and rates vary by season.

I was looking for a single Knight day and remembered in a Cannon Beach from once upon a time…read more I arrived around 3 o'clock and was happy to find my room was ready to go. Check in experience with Elizabeth was super smooth Scott was there his back up. I was shown a map including a list of places to eat and told about the wonderful DVD selection they have and how to find the menu for it online. I was also offered cookies that were not just for checking in but anytime during this day. I decided I probably want to try each of them just, you know, for research purposes. Happy to find a bag of saltwater taffy in the room and a comfortable table to work or dine at in a sunny nook of the room. The bathroom area is spacious, though the tub was out of commission which also was reflected in the room rate. There was a shower which makes things speedier and some nice bath amenities especially the bath salts. Fireplace in the room with a TV screen that doesn't dominate. Conveniently there was a small kitchenette area with a microwave and Keurig as well as mini fridge. All the things that matter when you're on a quick trip. The grounds are beautifully kept. Maybe because it was a sunny day or maybe just because everything about the area seemed quite well cared for including the rocking bench and the bird feeders where is the nearest feather friends actually feed. The attention to natural details is lovely. One more thing. I thought I had dropped my cars keys accidentally in rhe parking area and Chelsea was very helpful searching for them. Appreciate the thoughtful staff very much.

I contacted the office in advance and asked if they could work with a local florist to have a nice bouquet in the room when we arrived. They exceeded my expectations with a beautiful arrangement and were very happy to help. The property is easy to locate and very well maintained. Throughout our stay, there were rabbits running wild on the grounds. The location is less than half a mile from Haystack rock. The rooms are great with an in room fireplace and a nice little patio. Complementary breakfast in the morning and these folks are great to work with. A great overall experience and well worth it.

This meal came after a surprise engagement for my girlfriend so I had high hopes and they delivered. We were greeted with a lovely glass of champagne and also received some specialty bon bons to end the meal. Starting with the venue itself, the restaurant is situated on the second floor of the restaurant in a quaint dining room. I was honestly a little surprised as I had assumed the restaurant was bigger but none the less it was a nice space. There's a kitchen near the entrance which is cool to see. The service itself was fantastic. They were welcoming and kind and fast to address any question or request. I also noticed they did a great job pacing as there would be times where other tables finished courses before we did but they still waited on our conversation to then clear and serve us the following dish. Now to the food. It was so delicious. I'll be honest that when I saw the menu in comparison to the prior night I got a little worried as the first two dishes I saw, crab and a mushroom soup were not something I would typically order at a restaurant. That being said...they were both incredible. The flavors and care that went into each dish was incredible. Great restaurants make items you may not typically like taste fantastic and this is a testament to the chef. We were loving all parts of the meal and it was an amazing dinner and evening to share. The bread and butter by itself were so amazing. It was such a lovely evening and thank you for making it so special for us. Would definitely come back if you're celebrating a big milestone!

The Stephanie Inn is a true gem. From the location, to the staff, to the room types and amenities…read more(which are plentiful), the inn is a perfect destination for R&R. We booked our stay just a few days before our arrival and I was lucky enough to secure an oceanfront fire pit room (there are only 4 on the property). As I reviewed the many advertised amenities on the website, I started to anticipate a great stay. On our check-in day my husband and I arrived around 2pm and were immediately greeted by friendly and helpful staff. We decided to wait in the library/lobby area for our room to be ready. The library has incredible views of the ocean and Haystack Rock, comfortable seating and is located just off the lobby where there are refreshments (water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, freshly baked cookies, muffins and scones), as well as books, puzzles and games. When our room was ready we were given welcome drinks (sparkling wine with blueberry purée), helped with our bags and given a tour of the room and the grounds. It was during this tour that we realized that the property and room came with many more amenities than we anticipated! Such as: complimentary car wash, chocolate tasting, shuttle to/from downtown, in room snacks & beverages and a S'more's kit for our fire pit. The room and property provided everything we could want for a relaxing stay. During our two-night stay we enjoyed the cocktail hour which included drinks & appetizers, a good nightcap which included cocktails, nuts & chocolate covered cherries, breakfast in the dining room (buffet style with made to order items), a Ranger chocolate tasting with the chef, dinner in the dining room, listening to the ocean by our fire pit, watching the waves and the bunnies from our patio and yes, we also took advantage of the complimentary car wash (hand washed at that)! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the grounds and room were well maintained and comfortable, the food & drinks were delicious and the amenities were thoughtfully curated and delivered. We wanted for nothing except to stay longer!

As others have said, you're paying for the view. However, personally, I have not felt welcome here,…read moreand I also observe that many of the stated amenities or "perks" are not available, not working, or just not.....it's been death by a thousand cuts for me, and it's on top of the multiple racial micro aggressions I've experienced in this town in less than 24 hours. 1. Upon arrival to check-in, I observed one person at the reception desk being helped by the sole staff member, plus several folks hanging out in the lobby. After checking that no one else was waiting, I sat down to wait. They all left and I was the only person waiting. Of course, a white woman strolled right up to the desk from outside just as the other guest left, and instead of telling her I was there first, or even acknowledging me at all, the white staff person just helped her. 2. They say that pets names are on a welcome board when you arrive. My dog's name was not there and the board was tucked away against a wall. 3. I'm traveling alone with a dog, so I unload everything before bringing my dog into the room. After lugging everything to the door, my key cards did not work. When I went back to reception, there was no apology, or anything about accountability. Simply "oh let me fix that." 4. The room says that the TV is equipped with AppleTV, and even has a special button for it. Does not actually work. 5. They say they provided cookies in the lobby between 4-6pm. I checked in just after 4pm and there were none. 6. I took my dog out to sightsee and when we same back, again with my hands full, the key cards did not work again. So, I have to leave my belongings at the door, and run to the lobby with my dog in tow, to get the fixed AGAIN. funny how that happened again. 7. When we did open the door to the room the first few times, the smell of "old lady perfume" was so strong. I asked the front desk if that was intentional and she said it must be a cleaning product. It is way too strong and I can still smell it on day 2, even after airing the room out as much as possible. 8. The shower head is covered with lime, and the spray options do not all fully function due to how clogged the shower head is. 9. The bedding is way too light for the climate. So then you run the heater, and get too hot in the night. 10. The outdated fridge runs loudly at random times in the night. I'm on a long road trip with my dog as we move to Canada, and we've been on the road for 2 weeks and been to 5 states. I decided to splash out on this hotel because I'm a huge Goonies fan, and my dog loves the beach. Overall, I'm disappointed and I'd say this hotel is not worth it at all. I will not stay here again. For this amount of $$$, plus dog fees for me, this value is abysmal.

I wanted to add some details: You get 1 parking spot per room for the duration of your stay which is amazing and quite literally feet away from the famous haystack entrance. Bigger cars might prefer more ideal spots along the sides of the parking lot to reduce congestion of the entrance but those are limited. So plan the times you leave accordingly. Their booking system is different from anywhere else we've stayed. For the dates you stay, at check out, you get dibs on the same dates the following year. Which is why many guests have maintained the same reservation for many years. (That is also why it is always booked out) We see some of the same people every year which is also cool! It will require a $100 deposit which will be deducted from your total if choose not to book the following year. Otherwise that same deposit rolls over year after year. I found the full size refrigerator amazing for new moms who breastfeed and need to freeze their milk. I was able to continue my breastfeeding journey on vacation which I'm grateful for. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need; silverware, dishes, new sponge, dish soap, salt & pep, roasting pan, frying pan, pots, cast iron skillet, microwave, oven, coffee etc. So for families with small children, this also means snacks & mealtimes can be cooked inside your room. (We stop at Costco in Warrenton on the drive over!) If you want the biggest room, choose room #5. It is up a flight of stairs so keep that in mind. It's so spacious. There's a back room with 2 queen size beds, tv & vanity. That's where our kids sleep and plenty of room to play. Bonus, there a door separating the main part of the room where there is another queen bed, kitchen, fireplace and of course, the killer view. They are very strict (as they should be) about fire department requirements regarding how many people can be in each room. There are zero exceptions to maximum capacity. So book accordingly, not based on how many beds there are. Children are included in that count. There is no traditional turn down service but clean towels are provided every morning if you wish. Guests are asked (or have been in the past via the handbook) to remove their own trash which is right under the stairs requiring little to no effort. Also to remove shoes at the door to prevent sand buildup on the carpets as it's difficult to remove. Out of respect for Rosa (who we love) and her staff, we make sure the room is clean of any dishes, garbage before we check out as well as stripping the sheets and leaving on the bed for easier turn down for the next guest. Dogs are allowed on the property granted you pickup after them & remain respectful. No leaving dog unattended. The lower rooms have direct access to the backyard for easy potty breaks. The weather here is kinda funny in the earlier months of the year because it will forecast rain the whole week and be sunny/beautiful for at least half the day. That said, it is windy sometimes with king tides so walks on the beach are dependent on that. Hope this helps! Check that website for opening dates and may the odds be in your favor!!
