For privacy reasons, I don't want to go into why I saw Dr. Pryor, but let me say he has surpassed my expectations. He and his staff are amazing, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. It's been simply life changing -- I feel like myself again! I saw one reviewer who felt they received/encountered a lack of compassion/bedside manner; however, this has not been my experience at all. They've been kind, patient, and understanding (and I have a very low tolerance for pain, not to mention a lot of anxiety when it comes to needles and procedures). I know his office is busy, and as a result, things are run like a well oiled machine, but Dr. Pryor and his staff have always taken the time to listen to and address any and all concerns; even if I feel like I'm being a bit of a "worry wart". The morning of my procedure, I was having a considerable anxiety attack, but they couldn't have taken better care of me. Even if I were ever to have felt there wasn't enough "hand holding" (which has not been the case), Dr. Pryor's skill and the end result would have more than made up for it. He destroyed my face. He gave me a necklift approximately five years ago. I had to have the same necklift completely redone by a different surgeon who did his best to fix it. I am still undergoing laser treatments to reduce bulging, lumps, and scar tissue from the ordeal. I have walked around with the shame of this procedure on my neck/face for years now. Other medical professionals in Rockford, including my GP and a RN, have shared that they have heard horror stories about him. Do not go to him. Also, he made me sign a contract as they were wheeling me into surgery. It said that I would never post any negative review anywhere about him. I paid for a BlisCare complication insurance package and then when I had a major complication, I was discarded like last week's trash. Extremely arrogant, cold and cruel. ZERO AFTERCARE! Once they have your money, you are in their rearview mirror. Ultimately, I had to go to the emergency room on my own and use my own insurance and out-of-pocket. Another breach of contract. His office outrageously forged my initials four times on an incomplete Consent document, resulting in permanently destroying my right to privacy and protection by posting my photo and private surgical procedure and medical information all over their social media. WHO DOES THIS? I want the names of all the employees at Pryor Health, who have intentionally and fraudulently destroyed my life. He forever stole my right to privacy, my sense of safety in a medical facility, and my peace. A majority of my medical records are back-dated, filled with fiction, lies and fraud. Example: They outrageously created a fraudulent 2-page DOS medical record of a detailed physical that was alleged to have occurred at their facility prior to my surgery. NEVER HAPPENED! I don't even live in Illinois and was never there on that date and never had a physical there at any time. MEDICAL RECORDS ARE LEGAL DOCUMENTS and should be accurate, and not fraudulent. He never took any responsibility to ensure my informed consent was ethically provided. The most disorganized medical facility run by many unqualified, incompetent or complicit staff. In my opinion, Landon Pryor and Pryor Health are only concerned about $$$ profit as his surgical practice was acquired by a private equity firm since 2021. Profit over patient care. Exploiting a vulnerable woman with no regard for her personal safety or wellbeing. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN! And WHY do they routinely delete ALL of their negative reviews (mine included) on their Pryor Health (Google) website? Up to now 666 positive reviews at this point and zero negative? And then permanently block me from posting any review going forward. It's time to stop the scam. Impossible to trust a medical/surgical facility if they can't be truthful about their reviews. It makes sense now why I was mailed a two page NDA document, prior to my surgery, after I had already paid close to $15,000, threatening to sue me if I post any negative reviews about him or the practice. Attached to the NDA was a new, even more stringent cancellation policy, outlining the escalating percentages of fees I would be charged up to my surgery date if I were to cancel. What a disgrace. Major red flags. I wish I had followed my gut, canceled and hired an attorney at that point. I started going to Pryor Health about a year n a half ago(winter of 2023). My 1st experience was going to their open house event w my MIL after she had a procedure done there for the 1st time. I had never had anything done but was VERY interested in fillers and botox n what pricing looked like for these things. I was able to get all my questions answered, meet all of the amazing staff, get pricing questions answered plus, because it was one of their special events, I was able to buy any services I wanted that night at 30% off and schedule my 1st appt. This is when I met Tony my fav and BEST filler and botox man!! He truly takes his time, hes a perfectionist(would u want anything else from sum1 working on ur face?) And listens to what YOU truly want for results n always keeps it w you about everything...not 2 mention keep u laughing the whole time I swear my cheeks hurt everytime I leave his office n its not from him doin any procedure lol Anyways, I am 38yrs old n wanted to get sum lost volume put back in my lips(plus sum extra) and boy when I tell u he ate...he ATE n left no crumbs! Not from these lips anywayz shape is perfect, volume...perfect! Aside from that i get sum botox in my forehead lines, my 11s, and a small bit around my mouth 2 add 2 my lip projection n raise the corners of my mouth to help rid me of my RBF(resting bitch face). So now its going on 2yrs later n I just see Tony for my routine maintenance of botox every few mos n its always a pleasure Pryor always has specials, deals, events, promotions etc going on so theirs always a chance to get the best deal on whatever it is you're looking into getting done. 1st my fault for signing and not actually knowing what I was signing! very expensive lesson. I really want something done and had every intention of doing it but life happened. By the time I got into my Dr for a pre op I was feeling all kinds of sick. Let's just say we are still running tests trying to figure out what is wrong . Well I don't feel good and running tests I have to pay my out of pocket for , still don't know what's going on needless to say I'm not going to come up with another $7000 or so at this time to do a elective surgery. Im sad about it . Well what I signed will not get me $1600.00 back . So this practice that makes money, shouldn't need my $ is keeping it . Dr. Pryor is amazing. He literally saved my life. I was suffering from breast implant illness and Dr. Pryor listened to me and believed me. He removed my 22 year old saline implants using Enbloc. I'm giving one star only because of the easily accessible location and beautiful office. I called Transformations to schedule a CoolSculpting consult and, over the phone, was encouraged to get a tummy tuck instead, without even being seen! After my insistence on a CoolSculpting consult, I paid my $100 deposit over the phone, and got an appointment scheduled. On the day of my appointment I was pressured to get a tummy tuck AGAIN (by the same woman)!!! Mind you, this consult and pressure was not even done by someone who is medically trained. This woman asked me to explain why I didn't want a tummy tuck and in turn I asked her to provide me with the risks, benefits, and alternatives of both both procedures, which she wasn't able to do. I am medically trained and have done my research, so I already knew the answer to my own question. She did not. After an exhaustive conversation with this woman, my consult for CoolSculpting started. Now comes the sticker shock. She tells me it will take 3 months to see results, BUT I will need two treatments, one month apart, in oEach treatment would be approximately $4500. Ultimately I would have spent almost as much as a tummy tuck would cost. That seemed too coincidental to me. She seemed confused when I suggested I get one treatment and wait 3 months to see how I liked my results before having second one done. She insisted I make the two appointments, 30 days apart in order to receive their special pricing. I also had to pay for the first treatment in full first. Needless to say, I went elsewhere and paid $2250 for one treatment and I LOVE my results. In order to get my money refunded from Transformations, I had to go through a lot of hassle, including the insistence that I sit down with Dr. Pryor to discuss why I wanted it back!!! I said no. My time is too valuable to waste it justifying why I wanted my money back. BEWARE of this office. They will lure you in with a great deal, then up sell, up sell, up sell. They are the used car dealers of cosmetic procedures. I guess they have to pay for that beautiful office somehow. Bottom line, shop around. There are great offices in the Rockford area that provide the same services much more honestly. I'm adding to this because Transformations reached out to me regarding to my review. I was treated kindly and with respect. Brianna took the time to hear my concerns. My son had a mole on his face down around the chin area, it had continued to become a problem as he is a wrestler and has a chin strap that rubs it. We were referred to transformations by our primary doctor, we not only had immediate contact with the plastic surgeons office but everybody was extremely helpful friendly and had given us very good directions to find their location. The office is clean, the staff is friendly, and the doctor is amazing. My son modeled when he was younger and was looking to possibly model again and being that this mole is on his face w were very concerned about what it would look like and he had homecoming the next night. He left, with lack of better words, the prettiest set of stitches I have ever seen, the site was closed beautifully. Not only was this unnoticeable in all of his homecoming pictures but people that would talk to him didn't even recognize that he had it done because you could not tell, it was done so perfectly. My son is part Hispanic so there was some concern in the healing process, sometimes scars heal darker, we had no problems with that and dr said if we did to contact him immediately come in to be seen and he would get us some cream to help with that. HE HAS NO SCAR!!! Again the staff was very kind, very considerate, very efficient, and truth be told it's probably one of the most on time doctor appointment I've had for my kids in a very long time. After reading many positive reviews for Dr. Pryor, I decided to go with him to have a growth removed. It was one of the worst experiences I've had with a doctor. The initial consult was the only part that went well. When I arrived on the day of the procedure, he couldn't remember who I was or what I was there for. The clamp he used was archaic and so painful I cried. He spoke so unkindly that his assistant kept apologizing for him every time he left the room. I returned two weeks later for a follow-up and he still couldn't remember me or what procedure he had done. On the other hand, his staff was very kind and considerate but I do not recommend this doctor. It's been five months and the site where the growth was is still pink. read more
