When I came back for the second consult, Dr Berman was rude and yelled at me for coming to him with insurance. He would do the procedure, but was no longer willing to charge insurance, rather he wanted out of pocket payment. Maybe he was simply having a bad day, but from the time I spoke on the phone to make my first appointment to the first visit and undergoing the tests he asked me for, I was lead to believe that he would do my procedure under insurance payment. This had already been deemed necessary and approved by insurance. In addition to all this, my consults and tests were payed by insurance to his office, but Dr Berman's office still sent me a bill for the visit which the insurance said he should not have because he accepted the insurance payment. Dr Berman might be a good doctor from what the reviews say, but he is certainly lacking some follow through with what he promises and he is a very greedy doctor. I wasted my time, ended up with a bill, and was forced to start the process with a different doctor who did this procedure very quickly without any issues.

He didn't remove the gyno, it is definitely still there and I'm still embarrassed about it. There is still a large lump on the left side. I voiced my concerns at the 6 month post-op check up and he just said I was wrong and complimented himself on the results. He doesn't listen to his patiences, and he told me numerous times if it was still there he could do a second operation. I still have it, but he just says "no, it looks perfect".. he's delusional. I think the operation would have been worth 3k, but not 10k for what was essentially a gyno reduction, definitely not a gyno removal. I'm happier than I was before the surgery, just wish I went with a different surgeon. Put a lot of faith into him, maybe he is just behind the curve at this point in his career. Just to be clear, I didn't have a major case of gyno, almost can't even tell there is a difference. …read more this was my 3rd procedure/experience with dr.schnitt and before I brag on him as a surgeon, you should know he's one of the best humans i've met. he is first class all around, and once you do a procedure with him, you'll know exactly what I mean, this is his true and consistent nature. dr. schnitt is a incredible surgeon and really has perfected his art, he's a true artist when it comes to cosmetics.
