***High dollar image with very low dollar customer service*** -This is why you can't have nice things. Had to rearrange my whole schedule in order to bring my vehicle in for a scheduled service. Got a message on the morning of stating "will have to leave overnight for just an oil change." That's unheard of at any other dealership. I showed up anyways. - My service advisor tried to strong-arm me into the "recommended" , must have services. He look extremely surprised when i questioned and asked for a break down on exactly what each "recommended" service was and how much. I guess their typical clients never questioned and can afford whatever is offered - LOL.. -It's probably just me stepping out of my boundaries. I like nice things, and have a bad habit of questioning everyone and everything (TRUST, but always verify)... - stuck to my original plan and only got only the oil change. Received great attitude from not agreeing to the extra "recommended services"..... -another shocking thing was , service advisor made sure i know and understood they "will NOT reset your service light, unless I get the complete "recommended service" package ".....crazy, but if you charge enough for your product, you can name your price and set your rules.... -Check in my car and had to wait on the showroom floor room floor - as i live far, far away, in the not so prestigious neighborhood w/ nobody available to pick me up. Most regular dealership i been to strive for excellent customer service and offer a "lounge ". I guess only non-luxury dealership offer such a thing. -Verdict: shock and what a disappointment. I arrived for my 10:00 a.m. appointment today to have a rear camera issue addressed on my 2013 Range Rover HSE. When I explained the issue, the service representative told me they could run a diagnostic for $175, but he also stated that cameras "either work or they don't," so it was up to me whether I wanted to proceed. When I booked the appointment, I was clear about the rear camera problem. During the confirmation call, I was told it might be a software update, though they couldn't be sure. So the interaction today felt dismissive and inconsistent with what I expected from a Range Rover service department. The interaction also gave me the impression that there was little interest in understanding or resolving the issue. I chose not to move forward and left. Subsequently, I called and left a message for the GM, Eddie, with Jackson(?) to explain my experience. It's been four hours, and I have not received a return call. I had actually been considering purchasing a newer Range Rover, but if the service response is that cameras "either work or they don't", and customer service isn't a priority, it certainly gives me pause. read more

What I thought was a pretty good experience with this dealership Land Rover Rocklin turned into an absolute nightmare and worst car buying experience ever. I bought my slightly used 2018 Audi R8 V10 RWS on 28 Feb 2025. 6 weeks go by and I still haven't gotten my registration and plates so I called them. They informed me that it could take up to 8 weeks. A month goes by (now 10 weeks) and I still have not received it so I call again. They told me they would look into it. A few days go by and I finally get a call back from them and they explained to me what is going on and why I still haven't received my registration and plates. Apparently they sold me a vehicle that had a recall (illegal by the way unless they disclose it to me and I sign) and that I needed to take care of it. They said that I need to take it to an Audi dealership to get the recall done and then afterwards provide them the proof it was completed so that they could submit it to the DMV. For one, I would not have bought the car if I knew I was going to have to do all this. Second, they didn't say hey we'll pick up the car from you and get it taken care of so I had to use PTO from work and drive 25 minutes to my closest Audi dealership to drop it off get it done. Leave my car there for a day and a half. Use PTO again to pick it up the next day. On top of that I had to use my own money to FedEx it to them. This is all for a mistake on their end that they should have caught. All they could say was sorry. After speaking to a friend of mine who works at a car dealership, he said that they should have at least complemented me with something or given me something. I kindly asked the man I was working with if that would be possible but I was ignored. This absolutely horrible and I spent over $130K on a car with them and this is how they treat me. Least they could do is get me an oil change voucher from Audi dealer near them or a gift card or something. Never going to this dealership again and I strongly suggest that you avoid them and not do business here. All they care about is getting your money and that is it. read more

I don't generally read Yelp reviews, but do look at ratings especially for restaurants. I often use Yelp as a quick way to look up a business phone number, as I did here. I was surprised to see the rating For Land Rover Rocklin as I have been coming here for 15 years and have never had an experience like I see from some poor reviews. The staff have always been warm and engaging, attentive to service needs and accommodating to my schedule. What I have seen, on more than a couple occasions, is entitled people being rude and even abusive to service personnel. I observed irate behavior clearly because they weren't getting what they wanted when they wanted it. It was always one sided, with the service personnel being professional and attempting to accommodate. It just occurs to me those are the type of people that write an upset review from only their vantage point and not to be trusted. read more

Austen & Faxon helped me with the purchase. I rly appreciate them not doing the usual slimey stuff that dealers do (which is why I got in a fight with a previous dealership). They even helped me with shipping the car, going above & beyond when I was going to use my own delivery company, picking the car up from next door & keeping it safe for me at the dealership. Their shipping fee was less than the quotes I got & came like a week sooner than expected- only a few days after I bought the car which was a nice surprise!! Thanks a lot for helping me. I test-drove a PHEV at this dealership that qualified for the EV tax credit. I verified at least 3 times with Ian the sales guy that their dealership was able and ready to process the credit if I purchased the car. Ian said he confirmed it with management. I was unsure at first but decided the following week to buy and called Ian to schedule a time to complete the paperwork for the sale. He told me to come in now and everything would be ready. It was pouring rain on a Sunday evening, but I'm a serious cash buyer, so I told him I would be there in 45 minutes and I was. After sitting for about an hour on the sales floor with Ian shuffling back and forth from this sales manager, Ian presented me with a price sheet that included about $6k in dealer's fees above the asking price, they were for paint protection, window protection, and loss prevention (we didn't even get to the warranties yet). Ian knew I wasn't interested in the add-ons, and after more shuffling, said they can't complete the paperwork because additional documents are needed for the EV credit. The sales manager Austin (or Aaron or Andrew, I don't remember) comes out and says it's because it's Sunday and they need corporate to process something tomorrow on Monday. The manager promises me it will be done, looks me in the eye, shakes my hand, and assures me "the car is your's, we'll mark it as sold and move it to the back." I'm anxious because this car and its options are quite popular and not easy to find. But I'm reasonable and take them at their word. Ian promises to update me Monday. I don't hear back and when I follow up on Tuesday afternoon Ian says he doesn't know what happened to the car and maybe it was sold. I ask him to confirm if that was true and to at least let me know if it was, he eventually did. WOW!!! What a complete waste and disregard of customer time! What's worse is the lack of honesty and integrity! I guess I'm lucky I didn't buy the car from them because who knows what other problems may have followed. A side note, I had a potential trade-in or sale too. This dealer's parent company (Niello) actually offered me the highest price online, but I ended up selling to another party for less because, frankly, I did not believe they could be trusted after this experience. If they care to do better, the solution is simple. Do what you say, or at least don't make promises you cannot keep. A little respect for customers' time goes a long way too. I do not recommend this dealership. Unless you enjoy hidden fees, wasting your time, and being lied to, take your business elsewhere! read more

This service department should be investigated by the BAR. Paid a several hundred dollar overpriced oil change to be told I must change an air filter and cabin filter if we want the service light reset. That it voids Land Rover policy to reset the factory light. Was pretty bummed of this process, but for $400 when the filters are $40 at Napa I figured I would stick with the annoying light. Well I got home plug in my OBD scanner to reset the light and the scanner provided instructions to reset the light without tools needed: for 2019 and newer Range Rover Sport you power the ignition on (don't start), open driver door, open hood, and press both brake and gas pedal down for 10 seconds and everything is reset. Pretty disappointing that this information is kept "secret" in an effort to gouge customers. read more

I really tried for months to avoid taking it here. But I'm left no choice. IM DONE. Please, Stay away! Please! Don't buy or even step foot on this property. The service manager disrespects and belittles women and I have finally given up. I left today wrecked. I have never in my life felt so defeated and given up. I left today mortified. I have NEVER been spoken to the way I have these past 14 months! I cannot believe how Alan and this company has treated me and my family. We've been through literal HELL with this dealership and the company takes zero accountability. They will tell you they fix something, charge you deductibles and even lie to the warranty company that they fixed something and they don't. You leave with the same problem. It's not worth your time or money! Let's talk about the TRAUMA this experience has caused me and my children trauma from the episodes this car has put us in. They have put my families lives at risk too many times to count and I have been mortified by the response they've given me time and time again. After 14 long months of back and forth with this service department I have finally hauled in my fight for getting this car rectified. Due to emotional, physical and financial distress I have officially decided to never return to this dealership. I can't do the stress anymore. Please especially if you can't handle high stress things, AVOID this dealership at all costs. I have been insulted, stood over and spoken to like I was a child. No one in this dealership will stand up for what is right. Not one woman in there spoke up and defended me by how this man spoke to me. Charged me 4 times for the same loaner and then wanted to lie and say I don't get my money back because the loaners condition but wouldn't provide photos. They make accusations and put the blame on customers. Every time I'm in there someone else is so upset about something going with their car and the lies after lies. I am mortified by their treatment and seeking help. I have tried my hardest to remain calm with these people, I have been respectful and kept my calm but I hope after this review is read that they watch the cameras at the dealership from today. I have been yelled, wait ... screamed at by Alan, the service manager. This service dept and dealership needs to be investigated. I honestly don't even know if they actually even fixed my car. I don't know how he's still the manager and his employees are clearly terrified of him. They will literally stay silent and lie themselves to stay out of his bad side. It's quite disgusting. We have a 2024 Defender 110. Love the vehicle. At approximately 10k miles, the top radiator hose had a dramatic leak leaving us stranded on hwy 395. The coolant fan was rubbing the top radiator hose. Land Rover felt this was not a warranty item because an air compressor had been installed in the vehicle. This was $1100 in repair cost. One of the hose brackets was loose when we picked up the vehicle. We thoroughly enjoy our Defender. I would not, however, recommend the Rocklin dealer for your vehicle. read more

Brought my vehicle in to have a leaking windshield repaired, amongst two small additional items. They were not willing to re-seal the windshield since it was not oem, so they quoted $1,700 to replace. Today when i got home I was looking for any holes in the seal and that's when I noticed that there is a broken A pillar trim piece, that happened while the car was in for service. I will follow up if the service manager returns my call. They took pictures when we dropped it off so they should be able to confirm it was not cracked prior to the windshield service. Updated to reflect the timely response from Alan the service manager. Niello is going to replace the trim piece. Only reason for 4 stars is that it was not caught and repaired while in for original service.. read more

Came in with a trade the sales manager tried to give us more for our trade since the used car we were looking at had so much profit in for them. I explained to the manager and the finance manager about our credit situation and how I ONLY wanted to use CUDL with Golden 1. Long story short, the managers never gave me an offer for Golden one but did find a bank with double the interest. Instead of being real men and having dignity, these managers hid behind their desk afraid to tell me golden one didn't accept me. Tried to hope I would just say yes to some high interest rate they threw points on top of. They took my credit to 5 other banks and hit my credit with creditors I never even wanted. The manager already made the agreement from the get-go to not send me to any other banks initially But then LIED directly to me and my family once they saw Golden 1 wasn't budging. These is also no way this place does well. I saw a total of 5 clients come in while we were there for hours. This place is filled with deceit and I would never recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle at a store with immoral employees. Straight joke of an experience. These are the type of people that sleep very well at night with knowing how many families they screwed for their own advantage. I recently bought a pre-owned Range Rover from the Jaguar/Land Rover dealership in San Jose. The customer service was so awful that it made me think that is the way it would be if I'm not spending $150k on a vehicle. I recently made a service appointment with Rocklin and assumed service would be sub par at best. However, I was pleasantly surprised. From the time I walked in and greeted by an employee to the direct interaction with our person (Steven). He was patient, clear, and made sure we had all the information we needed before we left the service center. I am truly grateful for how great the service was here. My Rover was in the shop for at least a month because the fuel pump went out. My rover is a 2020 and only had 49,000 miles on it. It's only been out of the shop for 1 month. I was driving to Tahoe and engine light came on! What now? Unbelievable! It's hard for me to fathom how many times my car has been in the shop. It has $52,000 miles on it. Customer service is soooooo lacking at this business. I bought a 2020 Land Rover, (not from them) took it in just to have their mechanic take a look and was told it needed an oil change, even though the sales receipt from purchase showed that it had recently had one, went ahead and paid $200 for oil change just thinking maybe something was missed from previous service. Go back in for another "fix it" issue and service tech tells me I will need the 45,000 mile tune up soon - over $2000 for this service. I asked for copy of what this entails and took it to my mechanic that I normally use for other vehicles, and she went through list and said I can do all of this for around $650; the oil was the only thing she recommended I do through dealership as they get better discounts on the type of oil Range Rover recommends than she would...awesome!!! Finally getting in to get a recall issue that was sent to me back in May taken care of this after I have been told by whomever answers the phone, "still waiting on parts" but magically when she checks with mechanic or whomever, the parts are in...second time whoever answering phones has told me this...moral of the story, ask to speak to your service tech regarding appointments, and check around for pricing when doing the big tune-ups for sure!!!! read more

Worst expierence ever (late review; 2019), I brought my Range Rover in because the bash lights would light up with a bunch of worming every so often. I need the dealership to run a diagnostic to see what was causing the issue. My vehicle was left there for a little over a day. When I arrived to pick my Range Rover up, the receptionist explained to me that the issues was a loose battery cable connector and my total for the diagnostic was $700! This is never okay, if there was actually something mechanically wrong and the service department actually had to fix something fine, but to tighten a battery terminal cable and charge $700? Not okay. I really enjoyed my Range Rover; however, since this expierence, I will NEVER get anything serviced from Range Rover nor buy a vehicle from them again. $700 cost them a loyal costumer. read more
