Do not trade with these people at all. Took extreme advantage of my wife when she bought the land rover, basically rear end assualted her, then the windshield leaks, they all do that, AC went out, windows wont roll down, doesn't even have 15k miles on it. They gave us a loaner vehicle, we had it so long they forgot who had it so they just tracked via gps they put on there and appeared to wife's workplace acting like she stole it, I mean wtf. POS of a place, such a great brand just being destroyed from with in. Think budlight, look how they destroyed their brand, landrover be like let's ride with budlight and burn it down. Do yourself a favor, avoid this brand and place at all costs or it will cost you plenty extra wasted time and money. Their manger posts fake reviews on google too, they know they are F*c£ing it up. Update. Un FN believable. Didn't make it 15 mins away after they "fixed everything" Windshield still pours water on me. They didn't even change the old moldy headliner from the original leak. This place is about as well-managed as a tomato soup sandwich eaten on a table with a white tablecloth. About 4 mos ago, I took my 2018 Range Rover in b/c the liftgate was opening, but stopping halfway open. They told me it was a simple "strut" problem and they'd order the parts and call me. They never called. This past week, we called them and asked and were told "uuuhhh, yeah, bring it in, we got the parts." That annoyance aside, more, bigger issues were to come. No updates were provided once i dropped my car off and i had to text after a couple days. When I did, I was told the liftgate issue was bigger than anticipated but it would be done the next day. Two days later, no car. I contacted them and was told a long, winding story about how it was worse than they thought, so they had to take it all apart and do trial and error to see what may or may not be broken. If youre thinking it sounds like they dont know what theyre doing, you may be right. From there, I was told they think the gate's wiring control box needs to be replaced and they'd have to farm out the work to a subcontractor since the roof of the car would need to come down (!), as well as a bunch of new parts. The total? Only $2k. MOST NOTABLY, they further broke the gate such that now, it no longer works at all! But the real issue here is this: I was never called and asked to authorize the trial and error, lets-take-a-part-the-liftgate spree they engaged in. In fact, when I told them i was coming to get it, they still had the entire thing taken apart so now Im waiting more. That said, they sure got me the new quote/electronic invoice to pay really, really quickly. My car? Still not ready. Customer service here is nonexistent and they amount to little more than highway robbers. read more

One exceptional Sales Guide, Stephen Kennedy...One other male who literally came and drove off in the vehicle that we were reviewing, no Introduction, or May I Assist You, nothing...(Stereotypical, plus its Alabama). I had a bad vibe after that. My spouse wanted the vehicle we choose more than I did. I wanted to go to my hometown and get one after that negative welcome we had got earlier. But my spouse was adamant about getting a vehicle with no negotiations or anything. All the additives that come with the vehicle wasn't there. People, don't be in a rush to get a vehicle and don't do your research or make sure all additives that are required with a vehicle, are actually there...and make sure the paperwork is correct and you understand all fees that are added...Other than that, looks can be deceiving. I have never had an easier car-buying experience! They took excellent care of me and accommodated my every need and then some. I wanted a few things done to my car, and they called me daily with an update and also provided a loaner car for me to drive. After we test drove the vehicle, she got her hopes up, discussed the price, agreed on an offer and initialed it, we were told by the salesman that a manager said the vehicle can't be sold until tomorrow, if at all, because of an issue with the person that ordered it refused the color and they wouldn't know until tomorrow if that person was officially refusing it. Then why is it on the lot for sale ? Not only do I feel there was a misrepresentation of the vehicle, they wasted our time and lost a sale. Paid out of pocket $3200!! They are over charging, and don't work with warranty providers! Was told that my vehicle was ready/get there to pick it up and got stuck because the battery was dead. Then they charged another $400 for battery replacement. The battery wasn't the problem when we dropped the truck off! I have been working with the Sonic Sales Group trying to purchase a vehicle. I have a BMW 2022 M series that I am needing to trade in due to issues with my back. I have been corresponding with Virginia, but she has not responded to my contact efforts. Today, I noticed a blue Range Rover. I went over with my own financing (check in hand) purchase the vehicle. I was helped by sales guide Jason Precise. He went to his sales manager Brad Cook. I presented them with my check and they refused to take my financing. The General Manager would not come out to speak with me. I called the bank while in the dealership and the bank verified that this was a valid check. I left the dealership and I received a voice-mail staying they ran my situation through corporate and they would not allow it. I received a phone call from the sales guide saying they are trying to earn my business. They wanted me to finance through them and told me that it would be a soft inquiry on my credit. They also told me that I could refinance it through the bank I already had and that is the way that they do business. I do not recommend them as they are trying to make you use their financing. This is very unprofessional and exhibits extremely poor customer service. read more

Very Very Unprofessional i called this dealership yesterday several times in regards to purchasing a 2018 Range Rover Sport that had been in there inventory for over a month tried to give them business the dealership gave me the run around i spoke with John who also gave me the run around and was asking very weird questions as if he was assuming things like why am i interested in buying a call in Alabama what type of question is that are people not allowed to buy out of state then never called back which is very unprofessional then i go on there inventory today and the car is offline ill never recommend a company like this to anyone read more

I purchased a brand new Land Rover Discovery Sport last year and I love it! I decided it was time to get it detailed to preserve the "new" feel, so despite it being more expensive than most places, I thought the dealership would do the best job. It looks great and feels new again! However, my brand new sunglasses were not to be found after picking my car up (granted, I was naive to have left them in the car). I was told they would take a look around and let me know something. After days passing and having heard nothing, I called the service department once again and was told the service manager, Dan was handling it and would be in touch. Over a week after my original call, I called once again and was told "Oh. Yeah. We didn't find them anywhere." So in addition to zero attempt to resolve the issue, they also did not have the courtesy to even call me back. This is the absolute worst example of customer service I've encountered in quite sometime, especially considering the tens of thousands I have given to their business. The last gentleman I spoke to ensured me he was putting my name and number on Dan's desk once again so that he could give me a call, but still have heard nothing. I would absolutely not recommend doing business with this establishment. I'm all for supporting things in Birmingham, but in this case, go to Atlanta. Pathetic. read more

Bad experience after bad experience I will never ever buy another Range Rover.....first when I purchased the vehicle the sales associate didn't think I could afford the car and questioned my income when I told him I owned my own business I had to go throw the sales manager to purchase that was at the Land Rover in Atlanta.....1 month after having my car the car wash cracks my sunroof closest Land Rover is 90miles away...I call Land Rover of Birmingham and the inform me that they outsource the repair I need a send my to this piece of shit auto glass shop...a made an appointment for Saturday at 10am it's now 1130 and I'm still waiting for the owner to show up which he told me he was on his way about an hour ago.... read more

Worst service department I have ever come across in my life. Had to call five times just to schedule an appointment because I couldn't get anyone to call me back. And then after my car had been there for a week it had a gash in the tire when I had never driven it. My tires were supposedly rotated and no one noticed the gash or bothered to tell me about it. This service department makes me not want to buy another Land Rover. You'd be way better off taking your car to tire engineers. read more

After sitting in the lobby area, the saleman comes out and stands in front of me and throws the paper at me and says this is what your payments will be, manager doesn't come out once to talk or anything. So far my experience has not been pleasant and it is getting worse as we speak. I bought 2016 Truck from them, it's not their branded vehicle, but it was a great deal and just what I wanted. Upon test driving the vehicle, the salesman and myself noticed a vibration. He assured me that he was aware and it was just an alignment and they would fix it. After falling in love with the physical appearance of the vehicle, I proceeded with the purchase. After I purchase the vehicle, they detailed it and broke the window panel. He was going to disregard this and not tell me. I got a few miles up the road and started to rattle and almost come off, so I came back and they glued it on temporarily and agreed to order the part and fix it. No problem. Well after driving the truck, the vibration worsened. I couldn't get my salesman to call me back or anyone for that matter. I was told to call Erin and she would set up the service. I talked to Erin, she said no, that's your salesman's responsibility. So after feeling like the truck was going to completely give out, I stopped by a dealership that sales this brand truck and they told me that based on the symptoms given, the torque converter was bad. So by this time I am panicking and still can't reach anyone. I finally text my salesman and he told me to meet him at the dealership at 9 on a Friday. I'm late for work getting there and he's not even there. I text him and tells me to find Dan. So at this point I'm walking around the dealership looking for Dan. Shouldn't he be finding me? I'm the customer. I finally get someone to tell me that Dan is on the lot and he will be with me shortly. Dan and the technician drive the car AFTER I tell them what I've alre found out and they agree that the torque converter needs to be replaced. They have now had the truck for over a week. No one had called me to update me or anything until I called them. I then tell them since we have discovered that the Truck didn't just need an alignment, that I would like to take it to have a comprehensive check at a dealer that specializes in this type of vehicle at their expense(which is only $130). After speaking with Floyd, sales manager, who tells me "we aren't responsible for something that happens 5miles down the road". Clearly he's just being "the big guy" cause he apparently isn't familiar with the situation. This didn't happen 5miles down the road. Your salesman knew about it upon test driving. I then speak to Lily, another manager, who is very condescending and sarcastic in telling me that their technician can check the vehicle. But their technician apparently overlooked this issue, so why would I want him to check it again. She then gets really nasty with me and over-talking me , so I tell her that I would seek legal advice or go another route. She tells me "well you don't have to call me back then" and hung up the phone. She didn't try to compromise or save me as a customer, just basically told me to do what I wanted to do. They have basically secured my funds and could care less about what's going on at this point. Also, the finance manager, was very unprofessional after learning that I had my own financing. He promised me better rates and after he couldn't get them, he didn't say anything else to me. Didn't tell me the results of his findings or anything, just proceeded with finalizing the transaction as if nothing happened. Maybe they are better with their brand vehicles and customers that they "like", but my experience has been unsatisfactory. I didn't expect it to go this way because before they got my money, Barrett, my salesman, was so nice. And just to add, he has yet to call me or follow up on any of this. I guess he has gotten his profit and done his due diligence. I don't recommend anyone doing business with them based on the experience I have had**UPDATE** The vehicle is back in the shop for the same issue. Whenever you take your car in for service, you expect the normal price hikes. We have all experienced this and accept this as part of owning a vehicle. However, Jacquar Land Rover (of Birmingham) takes things to an entirely different level. When I called to complain about my husband being charged $300 to replace a battery in our car (not truck), their explanation was that "they provide great service". My response: "Really?" You are not providing great service to your customers when you inflate prices that are just ridiculous. Everyone on the planet knows it should not cost $300 to replace a battery in a vehicle. And...that was not the best of the story....my total bill was $472...why? He got an oil change too. Unreal. So...they charged us $472 (close to $500) for a battery and some oil. Yes....I have to agree....great....great service!!! But the problem is this....it was great service for your books...not mine. Thanks. We will not be back and will continue to tell our neighbors and friends in the Hoover area not to seek what you (not your customers) call "Great service". I hope the extra $250+ you made off this single customer was worth it, for although my husband and I make a good living, we don't like the feeling of being "ripped off", nor do we appreciate any business in our vicinity "ripping" off our neighbors. read more
