I've been going there for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. They take care of what is necessary and don't try and upsell like the dealers. In other words, they don't make stuff up. In fact, they've saved me many hundreds and sometimes well over a thousand dollars after going to a dealer that kept on finding stuff wrong with my car during oil changes. They don't change oil. I always consult them for a second opinion, and when it's an issue they can service I get it done there. They've saved me a lot and do it right. My cars run well.

Sean told me that he had never had a job like that take that long, and to bring it in so he could give me an accurate estimate. I did, and he gave me a much lower quote. It went from a budget-destroying repair to something much more manageable. Sean came in at less than 40% of my original quote and turned the job around quickly, including replacing the extra part the first shop wouldn't quote me. Saving the money was very, very helpful, but the nicest part was that it was clear that I was ready to pay much more and Sean only charged me what he thought was fair. I will definitely use Sean's Auto Repair for any additional work on my car.

Though he did have my car for 4 months, he fixed everything that was wrong with it, even adding an upgraded oil cap on him! He's honest and fair with regards to prices and work needed. He won't perform unnecessary work or over charge you as some shops tend to do. If you're looking for a fair mechanic, who really knows his stuff.. give Foreign Car Specialties a try. He's not the cheapest, as my repairs cost $2000, but the work he did, needed to be done. Also, keep in mind I drive a BMW so this price is representative of my particular vehicle. As I said before, he also found the issue; which no one else could figure out (the computer was broken and unrepairable) I found a place in Chicago who clones computers and he sent it there, also giving my car back with a fresh inspection sticker! My BMW now runs beautifully with no problems! Thanx Jim

Of course this would happen on the day when I had a million things to do and hundreds of miles to drive. After trying fix a flat and inflating it with air the tire went flat again after 5 minutes. I yelped hit the closest and called. I'm angry that I didn't get his name of the mechanic that helped me. He was super nice on the phone. I HIT THE JACKPOT!!! When I got to the shop it was clean and clearly busy. He greeted me, told me to take a seat in their super cozy and welcoming waiting room. I loved the fact that they have a little library in there. Although they had a lot of work my tire was patched up in less than 10 minutes (I didn't get passed 5 pages of the book I chose) I'm always nervous that shops are going to take advantage of me because I'm one of those women who CLEARLY knows nothing about cars. I call every part of a car a "thingy" Not only did they patch up the tire they put all the "thingys" in the trunk back together. The gentleman said that they had a lot of stuff going on in the shop that day, and this was easy! He also didn't charge me for the service and told me to just "pay it forward" (which I did 3x that day) I think it was the combination of the stress of the day, and the kindness of the gentleman but I burst into tears. Thank you for your service, I wish I could give you. guys infinite stars. Go here! Even if it's out of the way. This is the way people should run their business.
