I bought a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder from Gary Jackson Motors in March 2025 after being told their…read moreservice team had made it safe to drive. Their March 1 repair record shows they replaced the rear subframe, suspension, and brakes. By September 1, the car broke down and a second shop found loose parts, an incorrectly assembled rear end, and front differential failure -- the same areas that had just been repaired. This happened within about 10,000 miles, indicating repair issues, not driver misuse. By October 1, the transmission also failed, leaving me with no vehicle.

I'm impressed. When I sliced my tire on a nasty pothole, I found replacements at a dealer who…read morecouldn't install them for me. I called Fuller, made an appointment, letting them know that I'd drop off the car (it has run-flats) and deliver the tires when they arrived, after 1pm. They got the tires much later (2:30), yet had them installed well before closing time. When I picked up the car I was astonished to find that rather than simply install the tires, they also completely cleaned both from rims, which were coated with brake dust when I'd dropped off the car. Juxtapose that with my experience at another shop, which after replacing the rear pair of tires, returned the car to me with handprints in the brake dust of both wheels. Unlike Fuller, who completely cleaned every bit of grime from my wheels, this other shop never even gave them a quick wipe with a rag!

I brought my fully operable vehicle to Firestone Complete Auto Care in Auburn, MA on June 28, 2026…read morefor a routine coolant exchange and oil change. During the service, I was informed that the radiator failed while Firestone was performing the coolant flush, leaving my vehicle inoperable. I arrived with a working car and left unable to drive it due to what occurred during their service. Imagine how shocked I was after being told I could not retrieve my vehicle and drive home. Note, this left me without transportation home and subsequently to work on Monday. I was told I would need a new radiator at a cost of $1,300. At no point prior to the service was I advised of any issue with the radiator or any risk that it could not safely undergo a standard coolant exchange. The failure occurred during Firestone's service, yet I was still presented with the cost of repair rather than a clear assumption of responsibility. Drew, the Service Advisor, attempted to back me into a corner verbally and became frustrated when I presented a differing opinion to his. Let me quickly add that Drew attempted to back me into a corner to complete additional services with them that would've run me over $5,000. I left extremely dissatisfied and beyond concerned about what I would consider very questionable business practices, inexperienced technicians, and poor customer service.
