I brought my fully operable vehicle to Firestone Complete Auto Care in Auburn, MA on June 28, 2026 for a routine coolant exchange and oil change. During the service, I was informed that the radiator failed while Firestone was performing the coolant flush, leaving my vehicle inoperable. I arrived with a working car and left unable to drive it due to what occurred during their service. Imagine how shocked I was after being told I could not retrieve my vehicle and drive home. Note, this left me without transportation home and subsequently to work on Monday. I was told I would need a new radiator at a cost of $1,300. At no point prior to the service was I advised of any issue with the radiator or any risk that it could not safely undergo a standard coolant exchange. The failure occurred during Firestone's service, yet I was still presented with the cost of repair rather than a clear assumption of responsibility. Drew, the Service Advisor, attempted to back me into a corner verbally and became frustrated when I presented a differing opinion to his. Let me quickly add that Drew attempted to back me into a corner to complete additional services with them that would've run me over $5,000. I left extremely dissatisfied and beyond concerned about what I would consider very questionable business practices, inexperienced technicians, and poor customer service. read more

I have been here a few times. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Nick is a superstar. I believe he is the manager. Never tries to rip me off. He always tells me what I need and what would be good to do in the future. I bought tires and he told me about a $130 rebate I could get on top of the pretty great price he gave me on the tires. I don't feel like I am getting ripped off like I did when I used to go to the dealer. I would recommend this place to everybody. read more

One positive star because they're very friendly. But unfortunately they're not competent. I went in for a tire rotation and a heat shield fix. The mechanic dropped the exhaust system leaving it hanging by the engine. Now I have an exhaust leak. I asked another mechanic to check my brake pads while rotating my tires. He looked at the left rear pads, said they were fine and never looked at the rest of them. His statement? "95% of the time all the rest are OK too". But just a week later, another mechanic found severe uneven pad wear on two other wheels because of sized caliper pins. So, if you want friendly people, check this shop out. But if you need professional competent technicians, go somewhere else. read more

They damaged my vehicle and denied it. I brought my van in for a tuneup an oil change and a check up. They damage my vehicle bad when they brought it in. Then they simply said they didn't. The damage is obviously fresh and you can tell that it just happened. They refuse to take any responsibility for it. The woman started taking videos of old scratches on my van and bumper stickers I have on it. That has nothing to do with the huge gouge along the side of the van. She was being obnoxious trying to find reasons that would void their error. I had to wait hours for her to tell me that corporate will call me and put a claim in for the damages. That was two weeks ago and no one from Firestone ever called me. Apparently I'm just stuck with the damages. I do not recommend Firestone. They will make a mistake and not take responsibility for it. They should be ashamed of themselves. I will never go back to this Firestone. The store managers Name is Chance and she put me through the wringer with this one. I was heading to work early in the morning when I had an accident which left me with a tear in my tire. I had my car towed to Firestone and I was met with a friendly person at the front desk. They replaced my tire and got me back on the road in a timely manner. While there I mentioned I was also due for an oil change and asked if they would take care of that, to which they said absolutely, no problem. I was very impressed with how fast they got to work despite me walking in there without an appointment. To top it all off, they even did a courtesy inspection for me. 5/5 would recommend read more

Spent $1100 on tires, was told I needed an alignment. Drove away and you have to hold the wheel to the left to drive e straight. Took time off from work, brought it back and the guy told me there alignment machine has been broken, they should have never offered an alignment. They made the wheel straighter but not perfect like it was before. The owner should close his doors if he cannot afford to fix his alignment machine. read more

I scheduled an appointment online for Saturday June 1, 2025 at 8:00 AM. Oil change, tire rotation and wiper blades nothing complicated. I arrived early at 7:50 AM to check in. Time goes by, its 8:30 AM and my car is still sitting in the parking lot. At 8:45 AM another customer comes in and check's in, I casually ask what time was her appointment, she replies 9:00 AM. I mention to her, it maybe a bit of wait, since I was scheduled for 8:00 AM and my car is still sitting in the parking lot. As I'm talking with this person, the technician comes out from the garage and takes her car in, which if remember from above was a 9:00 AM appointment and it was only 8:45 AM at this time. I was fuming, asked for my key back from the technician running the check in. He kept on saying "the technician is going to take your car in Now" I'm like, just give me my key back and told him for something that was suppose to be simple turned into a waste of time... I went in a few days ago to patch a tire that was leaking. The following morning I woke up to find the same tire completely flat causing me to be late to work. I took my car back in the next day and they charged me again to patch THE SAME tire. This is absurd, I will not be going back to this store for any future car needs. I was at Firestone earlier today. I had a 2pm appointment to have my tires balanced, because my truck was shaking on the highway. My truck wasn't brought into the garage bay until 315. When it was brought in, I could clearly hear my truck stereo BLASTING at an unreasonably loud volume. I was listening to country music when I parked it, and this was not a country music station. The stereo was blasted for a few minutes and then the truck was turned off. There were no other vehicles running in the bays, so it was obvious it was mine. I spoke with the woman at the desk and told her if the tech blew any of my speakers, they were paying for new ones. She told me they don't turn any dials. I told her it was clearly obvious that they did. She said she could hear the music too, but that they don't touch the dials. I tried clearly explaining my concern to her, but she just kept saying they don't touch the dials. I told her I'm not going to argue about it, but it's unacceptable for their employees to do this to a customer's vehicle, especially after waiting an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time. When I got my truck back after the service, I was told to check the stereo. It did not appear anything was blown, but the radio was tuned to a station I don't even listen to. It was obvious the radio station was changed after I made the woman at the desk aware of my concern. I have been a loyal Firestone customer for many many years. Today, I was lied to by them. When you lie, you lose my trust. I will never return to any Firestone service center, nor would I recommend this Firestone service center to anyone. read more

If I could give no stars I would. DO NOT WASTE TIME GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!! The worst customer service experience I've had. I made an appointment for an oil change the day before yes however the a stated that if my appointment is unavailable or becomes unavailable that I will be contacted. I need a drivers side rear tire but I did not book appointment for that because of it being the day before but I put that I need tire in the notes and that I am interested in making appointment for that. I went in at 7 am for my appointment and went up to the counter and the woman was on her phone and could even look up and say one minute please nope nothing like that after about 2-3 minutes whenever she finished texting. She asked my name and told me it wasn't there. I told her about my appointment and she very rudely snapped at me that my appointment is not set. she can't do the tire. I said my appointment is for an oil change and I would be making appointment for the tire. I added the tire info in case you could do it also to give notice of all services I need. The woman was so very rude. I really do know what happened in this world to customer service but there was none. I left Firestone and let her know that I will never EVER go to a firestone or a company affiliated with those companies. If that is the type of employee they have as the advisor for the customer then I will go elsewhere. I bring a lot of business with me. I had such a bad experience that I feel the need to warn others. I recently noticed a strong emission odor while my car was idle, so I decided to take it here. They told me my catalytic converter needed to be replaced and that it would cost over $800. When I brought the car in a week later, they said the CC they had on hand was the wrong one and that the right one would be well over 2 grand. When I got a second opinion from another shop a few miles away, they said that CC looked just fine. Needless to say, I won't be going here again anytime soon. read more

The first thing to note is the hours listed online vs when the store is open are very different. This current location is open until 5pm, not 7. I dropped a rim off Saturday 11am (no appointment , but i didn't intend to wait anyways). The lady at the front desk was very all over the place. She was clearly frazzled because this location only has 2 mechanics and only 1 works weekends, meaning that appointments are essentially useless anyways. It took Firestone a day to call me back to tell me my tire was junk(I told them this specifically when I dropped of and I wanted a new tire regardless). I bought the extended warranty, but I had to wait for the tire to ship in and when I asked about putting a CHEAPER tire on the car, I was told this wouldn't be an option and I would need to wait. I asked why , and I never got a concrete answer. The location needs corporate to immediately step in and either pay workers fair wages to actually get workers in, or they need to shut this location down. This location is not operating at peak performance and their employees are stressed and indirectly and directly take it out on customers. This is a poor reflection of Firestone and do not plan to shop at this location again. I did not like being promised the job would be completed in 1 day for it to turn into 2.The promise shouldn't have been made at the point of sale. The problem stems from their lack of workers, something management clearly isn't focused on. I asked what the starting pay was for a tech, and when she told me, it all made sense why nobody will work here. This is an excellent service center. I had a flat tire while during a trip while on interstate 90 that turned out to be due to a dented rim. I ended up coming here to get it fixed and I can't even describe how helpful they were. They were able to find me a replacement rim for a terrific price and had me out the door and on my way faster than I could have hoped for. Cannot recommend them enough. The service was good but I was overcharged for a service I did not request and items I do not need. I went in for tires and an alignment. Upon reviewing my invoice, which I received via email to my home computer, I discovered that I had been charged for a Complete Vehicle Inspection which was not requested and a TPMS KIT and installation, which is useless as my vehicle has no tire pressure monitoring system. Was in a huge pickle. Broke down on highway, made it off the exit and into gas station parking lot. Literally called 15 garages from small shops to dealerships. All told me they couldn't look at my car until after weekend. Not one of them gave me any hope nor were they nice. Was in parking lot on verge of tears, & thought i was goma be stranded 3 hours away from home. I called up firestone, and lovely lady who answered really helped me calm down & gave me hope. Brought it to them friday at 4 when they close at 7 & short staffed. They were so helpful in every which way. Got me a quote(which was a reasonable one ) & assured me that even though They were short staffed that I wasn't going to be staying in a hotel all weekend. They had me back on the road by 1030 the next morning. I appreciate everything they did for me. & hope for wonderful things for the staff that helped me. read more

My car broke down Friday evening while heading to the mountains. I was towed to Firestone 15 minuets before they closed. Thankfully, Dan was there. He and some of his employees stayed late to diagnose my truck. It ended up being my transmission. However, the service Dan was able to provide my girlfriend and I was amazing. Both times I have been in an extreme hurry and Steve, the Manager, was so great about getting me in and taking care of quickly and efficiently. Firestone has the reputation of friendly nice people, but they seem to be either be highly incompetent or the messages are not getting to the technicians. Every time I bring my car in telling them what I want, the work is not done as I asked. Recently I brought my car in for two tires that were damaged on the road. I told the service manager, one tire may still be good, I can't tell but it went flat after I came to a stop, and the other one has a bulge in the sidewall. I also would like both new tires on the front if both are being replaced. I first was charged the full price of the tires, instead of them being prorated. After getting the prorated price, I totally forgot to ask about the 2nd tire, but I have a new one. I have no idea if the other tire was bad or they just decided to sell me another one. Did they even check? I suspect not. I get home, I'm looking at the car, both new tires are on the same side of the car, not both on the front. Looking at the paperwork, I also asked for an alignment, however where is the before and after sheet, did you even do it? I hate Firestone and the only reason I brought my car there was to get the prorated price on the tires. Totally frustrated and now I need to put the tires where I want. read more

I went here to get my tires rotated and balanced. All the services are way over priced. Heres my story. I wanted tires rotated and balanced. It took over an hour to perform this task. When I got the car back the tires were balanced but not rotated and they snuck in a $40 oil change. WTF! Waited another 40 minutes to have the tires rotated. This place sucks. read more

Came in on a flat bed with a completely blown out tire 20 minutes before closing, 90+ minutes from home. They stayed for me, got two new tires on it, called to reactive my credit card and got me on my way. EXCELLENT! First class! Second to none. my car went in for an emergency break adjustment and an oil change on 1/30. i wennt back on 2/4 because it souded like my e-break froze up and was sticking again. went home and parked my car because the storm was coming and i didnt have to go anywhere. now fast forward to today 2/8. i get in my car to take my kids to school and realized my seat wasnt heating up and low and behold these people took my heated seats button. this button is $150 rj said he trusts the person who worked on my car with his kids and that they make enough money that he dont have to steal from their customers. also not only did they take the button but they took $60 that i had in my center console. seriously they wouldn't be stealing parts and money from customers if they made "enough money". do not ever go to firestone in auburn. and now they claim they are not responsible for it like my car is not a car thats in a junk yard. they also didnt fix my e-brake they jimmy rigged it. i really wish i could give them negative stars. read more

I looked at the job before deciding to get the work done as $367.00 for plugs and wires seemed large and pricey. All was intact under the hood. Got home after job was done and gave another scan and right off, the oil dip stick was now broken OFF. I called and complained and got the denial immediately as to how oil change was not the task. I explained the wires were right next to the DIP STICK and now broken DS. I ended the call in frustration and a call came back to my cell line now still denying the responsibility for the broken DS. I replied and hung up as there was no admission of responsibility and I was not going to keep up the argument with this idiot. Be sure to inspect before and after any work is done, a photo would be in order as it is so VERY simple to do these days. Now you would have some recourse as I am lost as to how to proceed, other than a bad review here. :( :( :( :( :( I might have known they would be a problem as I have had issues with other work at this same location. Last time I had tires balanced and tires rotated. My "hand" lug wrench could not fit on the lug nuts as they tighted 1 nut up to spec and then tighten the next 4 in the same manner instead of sequentially snug all around then torque each one as the rim is now allowed to center it self on the hub of the axel. This way it is not centered on the axel and proof was that my hand wrench is larger in diameter than the thin wall socket and would not fit on the lug nut as the hole for the lug nut was now clearly off center in the wheel. How if this wheel should go flat while on the road would I change a tire in this condition? I am quite capable of jacking up the car but not having my shop tools (thin wall sockets) in the car I would be lost. If on my way to a job interview and having a flat tire, I would be discounted and discarded from contention instantly!!! Thanks for listening! Great customer service ! Manager helped get new tires from Michelin when they were wearing abnormally and saved me ton of money. Performed wheel alignment free of charge after we got new tires. Booked an appointment for 30 minute wait and free coffee :). Wish Firestone pricing was little more competitive to go there for other maintenance work. I've had several different advisers and technicians here who have all been awesome, knowledgeable, and work with me to make a deal. I just purchased lifetime alignment, balance, rotations, and an oil change. Frank is my usual service adviser, he didn't play any games with pricing and knows when things are and aren't needed. Frank agreed to take my vehicle in last minute for an alignment, balance, rotation, and oil change and had it done exactly when he said. My car has never been returned in any less condition than when I left it. No grease on the wheel or smell of chemical in the car, no marks or prints anywhere. This location is the best. I unfortunately didn't realize the shop closed at 5p but Frank made sure I got my car that day. I went to Firestone a while ago for an oil change deal and now Firestone and especially this location has my loyalty. A job very well done by everyone. read more

Spoke with "Loren" on a Tuesday to inquire about getting an alignment (had already purchased the lifetime alignment service)- was told to just bring it in- should only take an hour. Well, I brought it in and lo and behold, all bays were full- wait time was about 45 minutes. Fine, I'll just make an appointment for Thursday. Showed up for my 12:30 appointment on Thursday and finally left at 1:00 when it was apparent that service was not imminent. I don't know if it is because their employees are incompetent or just slow, but isn't the whole purpose of an appointment so you don't have to wait? Customer service is non-existent. Was told several times- "We'll get to you". Not going back, and I definitely would not recommend this location. read more

We had a flat tire on the Mass Pike and were glad we came to Firestone. The manager, Darrien Tempro, was extremely helpful and gracious. Our tire was irrepairable and a replacement was difficult to find, especially since it was Sunday. It was critical that we get back home to Maine that day. But Darrien was persistent and found us a tire in Fitchburg. He had it delivered and completed the work that morning. All the while he kept updating me on the progress. It's comforting to have that kind of service delivered with a calm reassuring attitude when you're faced with a stressful situation. read more

I've been to both this Firestone and the Firestone on Shewsbury St and think they are both great. Usually I tend to avoid chains b/c they are often more expensive but have found it advantageous recently because I travel a lot with my car and there are Firestones everywhere. The service at this particular store has been awesome; they are very committed to making sure you are satisfied with their service, even if it takes longer (and you're paranoid and bring your car in for every little thing, like me); they are upfront about charges (no "oh, by the way, you owe us $xx for checking out your car, which we forgot to tell you when we took your keys") and overall I think the prices are reasonable. They have a lifetime alignment service for $200, or you can get a regular wheel alignment for $80 with a 6 month warranty. There are often coupons online. read more
