after buying 3 cars from them, the last one being not even two years ago, this is the estimate for repairs and told there is nothing they can do, I will never ever deal with them again and this is after over 2,000 spent on repairs already, stay clear of them Hello, this is Ashley over at Midstate Mitsubishi. Just reaching out through text so that you can see everything written out and can look it all over. So the driver side mirror does need to be replaced and the cost would be $532.96 with parts, tax, and labor. Also the tpms light is on because the left rear tpms sensor is not reading and should be replaced along with 4 tires. The tread on all 4 tires is low. The ost to replace all 4 tires with the tpms sensor would be $624.50. Next, as for the horn not working it does need to be replaced and that would be $350. with parts, tax, and labor. The tech found the right front inner and outer tie rods need replacing as they have alot of play, the cost to replace these would be $767 with an alignment afterward. And last the check engine light is on for 2 issues. First is for the mass air flow sensor would need to be replaced $454.47. And lastly, there is a "code of death" for the transmission meaning that the transmission would need to be replaced and the cost of that would be $6365. Please let me know what you'd like to do. They decided to come up with deal even though I told them from beginning if they are unwilling to negotiate on sticker price there would be no deal. And let's not forget that they lowered my credit rating with their hard inquiries even after I told them there would be no deal without negotiation on sticker price first. And they said they couldn't negotiate which is a lie because Courtesy Mitsubishi went down to 30,120 for an Outlander from the start. And they wantedme to remove my review from Google. My experience with Midstate Mitsubishi went from good to bad to worse! I had regular oil change service with them last month, and I noticed that the heat shield was falling down to the ground this morning! The heat shield was barely holding by two screws and had been dragging on the ground! Needless to say, it was damaged! I went under the car and noticed that the heat shield wasn't installed back properly after the oil changed. It was hitting the host clamp on one end and it wasn't secured in between the screws. With one maybe two nylon clips secured at the other end, it didn't hold very well! With the additional tension induced to the shield since it's installed wrong, the shield fell off eventually! The arguments Midstate made was that it's been okay for a month and I didn't see the problem until a month later! Anything could happen. Therefore they refused to replace the heat shield. Just resecured it somehow! I should check again to see how they re-secured it! The truth is that 1) no one will be able to see if the shield was installed properly after oil changed unless you went underneath the car to check it! 2) even with one or two nylon retention clips will be able to hold that shield in place for a while! Just by looking from the side bottom, no one will notice anything wrong! They simply didn't want to take responsibility and didn't want to admit poor workmanship! This will be the last time I buy another Mitsubishi or service with them! They are crooks! Whoever service with them, I strongly suggest you check their work before it's too late! The buying experience here was AMAZING. I had gone to another Mitsubishi dealership in New Hampshire and had a terrible customer experience..... I called midstate Mitsubishi to schedule a test drive of the 2022 outlander. Anthony was my salesperson and was beyond helpful in setting up a time to come test drive the vehicle. When I showed up for my appointment Anthony went above and beyond to make sure that my experience was a great one. Before they were bought out by Mitsubishi this was a great place to buy a car... not any more! They completely ripped me off, sold me a car that is a death trap (battery will randomly shut off while driving innrain/serpentine belt is constantly loose and slipping), and after taking it to the four times to be fixed they gave me a "quick fix" that didn't actually fix the issue and costed me an arm and a leg. Severely overcharged me for a car that was worth probably half of what I paid for it, glamorized it as a "good deal", never offered a test drive or to show a car fax, and worst of all it was Brian "the lion" who sold me the car! My family and I had been loyal customers for years and recommend that everyone go to them, especially if they were in a tight spot. Now I would send my worst enemy there. I received a car from Midstate on January 7th, 2020. Before that car was purchased they told me they had one ready. I then get a text that says the guy selling it is an Afghanistan soldier who is now asking for 1,000 more down that I didn't have. They find me a Nissan Rouge. I paid for this car on December 11th, 2019 and was told i could pick it up that following Friday, the 13th. Instead of being able to pick it up it continued to get pushed off multiple times. I was told that it only had a day worth of work once they picked it up. That was a lie and it actually wasn't touched for two whole weeks. Then it needed a whole new transmission because of a bulletin. Which whatever new transmission but no one took it up to Nissan so work could get done. They blame it on the "old service manager" but the new one Tina did similar things. I was lied to multiple times by Mark, one of the sales associates. He continued to tell me it was getting worked on and finished for the whole month I had to wait. He told me on the day I was supposed to pick it up that it was going to be ready by 4pm and all the stuff that had to get done to it. (attached picture) When I received my car it shook every time I hit the breaks. I took it back for an appointment. They tell me it's bad rotors and breaks, which were supposed to be fixed since they had it for so long. I bring my car there at 11am on Wednesday. I don't receive a call by 3:14pm so I call them. Tina tells me that it is getting put up on the lift and they are fixing it now. I don't get a call so i call back at 5:24pm. Mark answered the phone and tells me Tina left for the day but tried to call me 4 times and she asked him for my dads number. I called before that so they should have had my number. My thought is they were just going to wait in hopes I'd call them because they are constantly "forgetting" to call or inform. After all of this the store manager, Ray I believe, had the audacity to start getting rude with my girlfriend who was with me because i'm bad with confrontation. He said to her "I'm actually talking about her car this is hers so i'm not worried about what you have to say." And when i said they'd get a bad review all of a sudden everyone came runni g to help me. They should have done that from the beginning. They did find me a car and put me in one for less than anyone could but I only give credit to Vinny for that. Vinny was the one who had brought up the DCU loan and allowed me to get into my own car. Vinny is the only reason this place even gets a 1 star. I'd put zero if I could. read more

I called and asked to speak to Brian Lindsey the finance manager because his name is on the letters I keep receiving once, sometimes twice per month. He took the call, when I asked him to remove me from the list, his response was "call back on Monday, we are busy". I don't want to call back on Monday, take my name and address and when you get some time, take me off the list. I insisted he take my info, he refused and hung up on me. I called back, he picked up, told me to call back on Monday and hung up on me again. There are laws the protect the consumers when requesting to not be contacted for sales purposes. I've bought three cars from Midstate, but never brought my car to them for service. I would highly discourage anyone from doing so. I needed shocks they tried to get me to go with after market shocks, which causes issues with the auto dampening functionality. After doing some more research I was glad when they never called me back to confirm my appointment after they supposedly ordered the parts. It's also concerning that the car needed shocks after only putting on 10,000 miles. After buying the car I noticed it had mismatched tires and they never included the GAP insurance on my Car that they were supposed to. I wont buy another vehicle from them! read more

I bought my 2010 Honda Civic from the team at Midstate and I could not be happier with my experience. My car was fresh off a lease with only 30,000 miles on it, and Nate made sure I found the car I wanted for the price I needed. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the options available not only on the car I chose but the others I was considering, and took into consideration what I was going to use the car for and what I needed out of it. Vinnie handled the money matters for us, and got me much more for my trade than expected and found a bank that was simple and great to work with (Chase). I felt that the whole team took a genuine interest in giving me the best value on a product that was right for me. I can't say enough about this dealership and the awesome guys who work there. I have recommended them to absolutely everyone, and will again and again. I have also been to Midstate for service, and I have found that experience just as excellent. They always are up front about options, and fairly assess what's a "fix it right now" situation versus an "it needs to be fixed, but not today" one. I appreciate that kind of honesty, especially having had the "don't you worry yourself about it, little lady, that'll be $2000 for a $1000 job" experience at other places. Was promised delivery on a car 5/28/2021, received a call a few hours prior to scheduled pick up of vehicle stating that the car was not ready and that there was nothing they could do to get me a vehicle for the weekend. The Sales Manager was who I was dealing with. He said I had 2 options, either wait for the car to be ready (no time frame) or take my deposit back. After going back and forth, he stated he could give me the corporate rate through Enterprise and that should be enough. Had I ended up renting a car it would've cost me over $200 for the 5 days, after I had already put a deposit down and paid for insurance on a car that I wasn't able to drive. I called 6/1/2021 to check the status of the vehicle. I was told it would be " ready for pickup in 30 minutes". I arrived at the dealership a few hours later after getting out of work and arraigning a ride. I had to wait 30 minutes to get the car registered, and was told that the inspection bay was now closed and I would have to come back to get the car inspected, although I was told it would be READY FOR PICKUP 2 hours prior. Upon receiving the vehicle, the interior was not cleaned as there was dog fur, and mud on the interior mats and seats. The vehicle smells of wet dog. I will never purchase another vehicle from Midstate Mitsubishi nor will I recommend the dealership to anyone I know looking for a Mitsubishi. read more

I had decided after a couple decades to get a decent car as I've always driven beaters. My credit being shaky, but recovering, I applied for financing online. Brian from Midstate called me and asked if I'd like to come down to see what they had as they could get me financing. I went down and immediately saw what I had been looking for; a 2008 Ford with low miles. It had just been traded in by an older couple who had bought it from Midstate originally. It needed to be cleaned up, but the test drive was thoroughly enjoyed. I was informed I was able to be financed at an incredibly low rate, my payments would be exactly where I wanted them and they took care of the RMV stuff. I had the car, registered, reconditioned, warrantied and with zero hassle, the next day. If you're in the market for a used car and don't want to get porked, I recommend Midstate. They have been in business for a long time, they know what they are doing, and they do it honestly and with the customer satisfaction as the priority. read more

This place should not be in business. I went in saying my intentions were simply to browse and look at cars. When I arrived Brian took all my info and made me feel very pressured into this car buying process. He then sent me on my way saying he had to wait for his sales person to contact him, but we can look at cars once she calls. After work he had me go back in and start signing papers. Me wondering when he will bring me to at least check some cars out. Nope he picked the car that I would be driving for me giving me no other option, forcing this one vehicle on me. I gave my deposit feeling pressured and flustered about the entire situation. I told him I can afford payments no more a month then I pay now... he told me it would be $15 more a month okay fine... then mike goes over the payments with me and it went to an extra $100 a month! I went home spoke with my husband and we decided to not buy a car. When I told Brian this the next day he called me 5 times and texted 5 times (harassment). Brian also called me being very rude and disrespecting my personal life. I went in that day for my deposit back and was told by mike and the owner Ray to come back tomorrow when Brian is there I told them what he said and both of them said I wouldn't even have to see Brian. Well guess what I get there and first they make me wait an hour to even talk because Ray said I had to sit with Brian the man who harassed me. When I reminded him he said I wouldn't have to even see him he told me he never said that. When I sat with Brian he harassed me the entire time telling me I have to tell him why I changed my mind and he was so rude and unprofessional once my answer was no to buying a car. They refused to give me my deposit refund unless I had a receipt which I didn't have with me but I did have a bank statement and they also kept saying I know you paid but I want to see the receipt anyways. Ray began to get in my face being very rude and unprofessional threatening me because i wanted a refund, and not a car. I simply was told I could come in and out for my refund which turned into a whole 2 hour process. They gave me a run for my money there and a very difficult time to get it back. Ray bullied me, he was so unprofessional and unethical. I became quite distressed by this issue. I am astonished that a place with such bullies including the owner is still in business. The last time my wife was there for a sensor the mechanic who worked on it broke something and what should have cost about $150-200 tops he ended up quoted her a Min of $600 . Never giving her any other options so I called them and he told me there was a SECOND option that would cost $250-300 . He tried to take advantage of us during the Xmas season . Poor business practices! Buyer Beware! When we pulled into the parking lot we were greeted by Felix. We had a clear conversation about our situation. He pointed out a few vehicles and said they were under $20,000 and that they were very motivated to sell them. We test drove a jeep Rubicon and decided to try and make a deal. After some paper work they came back to us with a price of $23900. Ummm.....that's not under $20,000. At that time we choose to leave. A few minutes later Louis called and we agreed on $18500. The interest rate was high so we asked them to shop around for a better rate. They did and were able to get a better rate. Shamus called with that information. I asked him a question about plates and he said he would call the owner and get back to me. This was around 330 400 PM. I waited but they never called back. I called first thing the following morning and said we were going to come in and sign the paperwork. They called me back to say the car is $1400.00 more today. They never once said it was a one day only deal. I'm so disgusted!!!!!!!!!!! Why is the car $1400.00 more the next morning????? read more

The worst. illegally passed my car for inspection and sold me the car as is. i spent all my earnings trusting this place only asked they fixed the problems they didn't fix in the first place. Knowing I have a heart condition and four children why would you pass a vehicle with no working seatbelt and a chip on the drivers side ? spoke about fixing the chip. Mind you for 15,000 paid in full you would think nothing would be wrong right ? the vehicle had chips all over the windshield. Only asked for him to fix these problems seeing I have a 60 day warranty. How are you not willing to fix your issues? just want my car fixed. the seatbelt and chip and I'd be happy. everything they already fixed after my dad came with me. idk if it's because I'm a female they thought they can just give me the vehicle as is. literally ten minutes down the road to my house the tire pressure light comes on and brake light. Best part is they had my car saying they were fixing stuff and I took it to my mechanic. that wasn't true either they kept it for a week after telling me it'll be ready this day or that day . Being lied to by all his staff, they all had different stories. Could of told me that they were waiting for the check to clear. Only reason I know is because I kept calling my bank and the day the car was able to be picked up was the day it was cleared. Also got promised a part to the car and asked the mechanic about it today and he said it wasnt ordered when in the paperwork I have it says they ordered the part. He said your application looks great its all approved and told me to meet him at midstate auto group this morning at 930 am. One star is being generous based on how my daughter and I were treated here!!! We went to trade in her suv (that's still in perfect condition and valued at more than $16,000 based on every website and many other dealerships) and we searching around for a car. We get greeted, look at a car that they insisted was "perfect" and "could get us it for cheap" but while looking I noticed imperfections with it but still decided to sit and discuss prices. We sat with a girl that spoke to us for about 10 minutes, we filled out a few papers with our info, then she told us we had to wait a few because she wasn't sure how to do everything. So we sat and waited. (Also let me add that we arrived at around 1:30 pm) As we were waiting occasionally someone would pop in the room and be like "sorry just a few more minutes were working on a deal for you in the other room". Ok fine. Then we were told we had to wait and speak to Ray. At first he was stuck with another buyer so we were understanding but then when he got out from the other room, his friends showed up and they disappeared into his office to chat. So now we're both very annoyed. I wanted to up and leave that place but my daughter insisted we keep waiting a little longer to hear what they had to offer us. After HOURS of sitting there being blatantly IGNORED they tell us that she needs a co-signer...... She's bought 2 cars before this and has NEVER had to do that..... So I tell them that and they say "oh well it's because your trade in value for your suv is only $12,000 and also no bank is biting this deal so if she has a co it will go quicker"... so I say "Wait a sec, 2 other dealerships told us our trade in was at least $16,000 and when I looked at nada.com trade in was $16,900...." he had nothing to say to that. That's when I should have stood my ground and told my daughter we were leaving but she begged I co-sign for her so I sat and did just that hoping to finally hear some good news. NOW ITS 5 pm!!! Ray supposedly goes back and tries to make a new deal with the bank and is now "waiting for a call back". BUT TELL ME HOW ARE YOU WAITING FOR A CALL WHEN YOU AND ALL YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE IN THE FRONT ROOM SITTING AND CHATTING???? While my daughter and I have been here for HOURS trying to buy a car. AND mind you while we've been here for HOURS, two separate people are already in and out buying a car with a consistent person working with them... So finally at 6 pm i've had enough... I get up and I say to them "so what's the deal because we're wasting our time" Ray says "oh actually the banks are already closed so i'll have to try again in the morning, and we will give you a call." ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? We still have never heard back from them. Unbelievable. I will never in my life recommend this place to anyone and I will steer people away from midstate as much as possible so no one will get treated like we did. I will never recommend any one goes here. This was my first time car buying experience. My credit wasn't the best but I had a good down payment. They trie to force me into one car and gave me a very difficult time about looking at cars. They refused to show me cars under the price range I was trying to look at. Then they tried to screw me on an interest rate and made me feel I would not get anything better because I am young and this is my first car and my credit isn't great. I went to a different place and got a newer car with less miles nd less expensive and have the interest rate. Had an appointment to test drive a car to which they put us in the waiting room and forgot about us. After waiting for 40 minutes, I asked them once again to show us the car. I test drove the car, loved it, paid 9k in cash for it just to be called the next day to say it had already been sold. On Thursday I picked up a plow truck for this winter that my wonderful wife bought for me ( Thank you Brian ) she got a great deal on a 2006 Dodge 2500. This is the second Truck in our family from Midstate we also own a 2008 Tundra for 4 years. On Saturday I was having trouble unhooking the plow I drove to Midstate and was given a second lesson on its removal. When I got home as I was trying to remove the plow somehow I locked the keys in while it was running. frustrated I called Midstate, Ray sent out Erik to unlock the truck and help me with the plow.
